Hello Friends. . .  Today I'm featuring a darling stamp set called Polar
Party (W122675/C122677).  The card layout for this one is just too too
cute, don't you think?  I originally saw this card layout on Pinterest. 
This card is posted on Splitcoast under the name flicflac Mama.  So
so clever, the creativity out there sometimes blows me away. 

My cardbase is Night of Navy, matted with Brushed Silver and matted
again with a piece of Whisper White.  I embossed it with our Northern
Flurry Folder and embellished them with Jewels.  Next I used our
Ornament Punch.  Place it as far up the card front as possible and
center.  I stamped my little bear with Black Stazon Ink and colored him
with markers.  Punched a 1/8" hole with my hand held punch and used
some silver cord (retired).  My sentiments, both inside and out come
from one of our Hostess Sets called Wacky Wishes.  I also stamped
the inside with snowflakes from our Snow Swirled Stamp Set.  Oh I
almost forget add a large Pearl to the top of his cap for a little pizzazz.

picture, the bear and his background
are raised with dimensionals.  This
is so cute and is a very impressive
Christmas Card to add to your stack

Hello Folks. . .  Happy day to ya.  Today I have a beautiful
brithday card to share using the set Blooming With Kindness
(W126420/C126422).  I went all out on this one folks. 

My cardstock is Rich Razzleberry, matted with a piece of
Very Vanilla.  I used our new embossing folder Fancy Fan
#12775.  If you like to save your designer paper try using our
embossing folders.  They look great and they give you the
depth that you are looking for.  Love i!!!t.  For some contrast
though I did use a small strip of Pretty in Pink DP.  It is retired.
My ribbon is the new 1/4" Stitched Pretty In Pink #126880.  It
was part of our ribbon share.  I added some pearls #119247 for a
little pizzazz.  I decorated the inside and jazzed up my envie.

Hello My Stamping Friends, Happy Monday.  Boy oh Boy, I have fallen in love with some new designer paper called Spice Cake.  You will find it in the new Holiday Mini,  that will be released on Sept 1st.  The colors are just fantastic, especially if you are a fan of rich fall colors like More Mustard, Soft Suede, River Rock, Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla.  Today I'm using Spice Cake dp and a hostess set called Faith in Nature.  Faith In Nature is a great set to have in your collection.  It's one of those sets that can be used for just about any occasion.  My card base is Early Expresso and it is matted with Spice Cake dp.  I used one of our new punches for this year, the Lace Ribbon Border Punch.  Did you notice that I was able to weave a 1/4" More Mustard Grosgrain Ribbon thru some of the openings for just a touch of pizzazz.  Unfortunately More Mustard is not being offered this year in the 1/4" group of ribbons, but anyone will do.  Yippie!!!  I stamped my image on Very Vanilla with Black Stazon.  Gave it a touch of watercoloring and mounted it on some ovals.  Oh, Oh another exciting product in the Holiday Mini is this new Quilted Satin Ribbon.  It will come in two colors Early Expresso, and Cherry Cobbler.  You're gonna love it!!!!!!!!

Hello My Friends.  Happy Thursday and welcome back to SandiesKorner.  Today I have a great looking card to share with you.  It is cased from our very own Idea Book and Catalog.  Yes, our catty is a great place to look for ideas and inspiration.  You can find this beauty on pg 157.  My cardbase is Crumb Cake better known to us as Kraft.  I cut a strip of More Mustard and ran it thru the Big Shot with the Square Latice Embossing Folder.  I just love doin' that.  My focal point is a piece of Very Vanilla.  For a little spunk I rounded the corners with the 3/16" Corner Rounder found on pg 212.  My stamp sets are I (Heart) Hearts W117010 C118571 and Word Play W120308 C120651.  Boy, it took a long time to add that one to my collection, but it's mine now.  LOL  For some dimension I stamped the Polka Dot Heart in Real Red and punched it out with out Full Heart Punch #119883.  Doesn't it just look smashing?  I also added a large Real Red Button and made a bow with some Linen Thread.  I used markers on my sentiment to get the different colors.  Also did you notice the new scallop polka dot ribbon.  That's More Mustard.  It's just one out of ten new ribbons this year.  I love polka dots!!!!!!    If anyone is interested in doing another Ribbon Share please let me know.  For more deets click here.

Hello My Stamping Friends – Happy Friday To Ya. . .   Today I have a beautiful card to share that was cased from the front of our new catalog.  Isn't it just great.  The last few posts have been on the whimsy side but we are back in the groove with florals today.  The sketch is a simple one, just a couple of layers and then tilted to the side just a bit.  I was looking for the worn look so I did a little destressing.  My colors are Soft Suede, Early Expresso, Calyspo Coral and Very Vanila.  All the action takes place on the Very Vanilla.  The first thing I did was use our Jumbo Roller Very Vintage inked with Soft Suede, then I took our Fine Flourish Stamp and stamped the lower right edge, just for some contrast.  Next I used our Big Shot and the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder for the edge.  Then I took a sponge and sponged all around with Soft Suede to make it look old and dingy.  My stamp set is Field of Flowers inked with Old Olive and Calypso Coral.  Next I used my scissors and scraped my edges to make it look worn.  I also took out my Spritzer Tool with markers to make it look even more distressed.  My sentiment is from Three Little Words punched with the Word Window Punch and nested with a piece of Soft Suede punched with the Modern Lable Punch.

Good Morning. . .   I don't normally do round cards but after looking at some of this weeks MOJO Monday cards I decided it was time to make a round card.  Have you tried you hand at an Easel Card yet, well today I have a Scallop Circle Easel Card to share.  At my last stamp club I was lucky enough to be able to purchase several new stamp sets from the new catty and this is one of them.  It's called Polar Party #122677 and I thought it could be one of my Christmas Cards this year.  You can find instructions on how to make this card by just Googling "Scallop Circle Easel Card"  My colors are Whisper White, Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy.  The sketch is this weeks MOJO Sketch.  I colored my image with SU markers (Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Pretty In Pink and Regal Rose.  Added some glitter glue for a touch of sparkle.  My sentiment is from Petite Pairs #122497.  Cool Tools are the Large Oval Punch $119855 and the Scallop Oval Punch #119856.  I also used the Snowflake Punch #119852 to dress it up even more.  The sketch called for a tag so I pulled out Tiny Tags #118592 and punched it with the Jewelry Tag Punch #117190.  My pretty ribbon is from the 1/2" Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon.  There you have it an easy peasy cute Christmas Card with a shape that will WOW the person who receives it.

Are you a dog lover or know someone who is, well today I have a card to share that will knock their socks off.  The stamp set is new this year and it's called Not So Seriously W123085 C123087.  It's just another stamp set in the line of many that are great for expressing birthday wishes. This layout came from Ann Schach over at The Stampin Schach.  Thanks Ann for a great layout.

My cardbase is Early Expresso, matted with some So Saffron.  I used our Big Shot and Square Latice Embossing Folder for some texture.  Next layer is a repeat of the above just a little smaller in size.  My neutral is Whisper White #100730.  I embossed my image is Chocolate Chip Craft Ink and sprinkled some Clear Embossing Pwd over it.  Heated it with my Heat Tool.  You probably can't see it but I did use markers to color in their collars.  For my #1 Ribbon I used our Scallop Punch and our 1 3/8" Circle Punch.  Added some ribbon for tails.  My #1 was cut with my Cricut.  For my sentiment I made a flag and attached a CC brad.

Hello My Stampin' Friends. . .    I have some very pretty blues to share with you today.  It's a happy day kind of cards that you just can't wait to send and put a smile on someone's face.  My stamp set is once again Raining Flowers W122765 C122767.  It's one of the more expensive sets but it has 13 images for you to work with.  You can find it on pg 111 in your catty.  My sentiment is from Friendly Phrases W126149 C126151.  It has six great little sayings that are guanranteed to put smiles on faces.  My colors are Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, and Pretty in Pink.  I used what's called the stamping off technique.  It adds depth to any card.  Ink you background stamp up pretty good, stamp and then stamp again.  This gives you a tad shade lighter of the same color you inked up.  I did that both in the Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze inks.  My designer paper is from the Regals Designer Series Paper Pack #117154.  All the designer paper packs are fun to work with and give you another option if you don't happen to have matching dp on hand.  Great paper pack to have in you collection.  My cool tool of the day is of course the Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402 and my pretties are a little 1/4" Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon and a couple of rhinestones.  This is a great card to send to someone you just want to say hello to and are thinking of them.

Hello My Stamping Friends. . . Welcome to the week end here at SandiesKorner.  I've been sorting ribbon this week and it was a bit of a challenge.  I was having some issues with the amounts on the spools.  It seems that they can vary just a bit, but we got it all worked out and the ribbon will go to the Post Office on Monday.  Thank you guys for all your patience.  The ribbon is just beautiful.

I don't have a card for you today, but I hope you noticed I made cute little thank you note cards for my ribbon sharers.  I used some scrap pieces of Whisper White, embossed them with our Polka Dot embossing folder, inked the Butterfly Prints stamp set with a couple of our new In Colors (Island Indigo and Calypso Coral) and viola' you have a cute little note card.  The size by the way is 2.5 square.  Isn't it just great that you can whip up a cute, fun and easy handmade card with just the supplies that you have on hand.  I just love this stuff!!!!!!!!!!
