Hello My Friends.  Happy Thursday and welcome back to SandiesKorner.  Today I have a great looking card to share with you.  It is cased from our very own Idea Book and Catalog.  Yes, our catty is a great place to look for ideas and inspiration.  You can find this beauty on pg 157.  My cardbase is Crumb Cake better known to us as Kraft.  I cut a strip of More Mustard and ran it thru the Big Shot with the Square Latice Embossing Folder.  I just love doin' that.  My focal point is a piece of Very Vanilla.  For a little spunk I rounded the corners with the 3/16" Corner Rounder found on pg 212.  My stamp sets are I (Heart) Hearts W117010 C118571 and Word Play W120308 C120651.  Boy, it took a long time to add that one to my collection, but it's mine now.  LOL  For some dimension I stamped the Polka Dot Heart in Real Red and punched it out with out Full Heart Punch #119883.  Doesn't it just look smashing?  I also added a large Real Red Button and made a bow with some Linen Thread.  I used markers on my sentiment to get the different colors.  Also did you notice the new scallop polka dot ribbon.  That's More Mustard.  It's just one out of ten new ribbons this year.  I love polka dots!!!!!!    If anyone is interested in doing another Ribbon Share please let me know.  For more deets click here.

Hello My Staming Friends. . . .  Welcome to Monday and SandiesKorner.  OMG!!!!!!  Have you ever browsed thru our catty and just come across a stamp set that put a smile on your face and a flutter in your heart.  Well today I have a card to share that will do just that.  I just love this little stamp set.  It's called  Best of Everything #123536.  It's a clean and simple card.  Can you believe it only has one layer, yes you heard right, one layer.  If you don't have those new In Colors yet this card will make you want them even more.  LOL  I used the new In Colors, Island Indigo, Calyoso Coral (my fav), Lucky Limeade, and Pool Party. Most of them are pretty bright and bold but it is amazing how well they all coordinate together.  Just beautiful.  You might be wondering how I stamped those clouds on my card today, well it's easy peasy.  Just punch a scallop circle any size you like and lay it across you card.  Then lightly sponge across the top with Pool Party.  Keep moving your scallop so it actually looks like clouds.  Practice on a separate piece of paper until you get the hang of it.  How real they look depends on your placement of the scallop.  Be sure and overlay.  They look the best that way.

Hello My Crafty Friends. .  TGIF  As I was blog hopping the other day I came across this pretty sketch and decided it would be a good one to feature some of our new In Colors.  I choose to work with Wisteria Wonder and Pretty In Pink.  There's nothing new on this sketch.  The usual matting and such.  The Wisteria dp is from the new Flirtatious Designer Paper Pack 122360.  It's color scheme is Rose Red, Pretty In Pink, Pumkpin Pie, So Saffron, and Wisteria.  My stamp set is Fabulour Florets W123025 C123027.  This is such a pretty stamp set, I'm so glad I ordered it.

My dimensional flower at the bottom is made by punching several pieces of cardstock with a small flower punch.  Ours is now retired and I have forgotten the name of it, but anything you have will do.  Then you need to grab for your Matt Pack #105826 and stylus.  Lay one flower piece on you matt at a time and begin putting circular pressure in the middle of your flower.  Not to hard or you will punch right thru it.  Gently keep applying pressure and you will see that your flower is starting to curl up.  Continue doing this with as many pieces as you like for your flower.  Actually you only need a few.  Alternate you petals, add a flower center and viola' you have a very pretty 3D flower.  Easy Peasy!!!!  Next for my sentiment I used one of the cute stamps from our Level l Hostess Set in the Summer Mini  called Swirls and Curls Versus #123017 .  It's a great one.

Hello Friends – It is Wednesday right.  Has everyone got big plans for the weekend?  I know when we had a lake house at Table Rock Lake, Memorial Day was like opening day.  It's the start of the summer.  I'm hoping to get to work on the pool a little bit.  It's always a challenging time getting the pool ready.  Oh My!!!  Today I have a very pretty card, at least I thnk so.  It's our beautiful Soft Suede again.  Such a lovely color as a background.  I'm so glad it will be around for another year.  And of course there is nothing prettier than matting a piece of PIP on top punched with the Scallop Trim Border.  This punch will be available again come July 1st.  i used a piece of Sweet Pea Designer Paper which is retired right now.  I sure hope SU comes up with another packet of Designer Papers like that.  It was a great go to source.  I also used the very pretty and new Square Lattice Embossing Folder #119976 which can be found on pg 24 of the Summer Mini.  The summer mini is just chocked full of great summer fun sets and they are very reasonable priced especially if you have gone to the clear mounts.  The stamp set is Watercolor Trio #120084.  This stamp set is fool proof.  I find the best way to ink it up is to use your markers.  This gives you the look of two colors the easy way.  My inks were Soft Suede, So Saffron, and Regal Rose.  My sentifment is from Great Friend #113792.  For embellishing I used a little piece of PIP 1/4 ribbon.  Easy Peasy.  Now it's your turn to make something beautiful.
