Hello My Stamping Friends – Happy Friday To Ya. . .   Today I have a beautiful card to share that was cased from the front of our new catalog.  Isn't it just great.  The last few posts have been on the whimsy side but we are back in the groove with florals today.  The sketch is a simple one, just a couple of layers and then tilted to the side just a bit.  I was looking for the worn look so I did a little destressing.  My colors are Soft Suede, Early Expresso, Calyspo Coral and Very Vanila.  All the action takes place on the Very Vanilla.  The first thing I did was use our Jumbo Roller Very Vintage inked with Soft Suede, then I took our Fine Flourish Stamp and stamped the lower right edge, just for some contrast.  Next I used our Big Shot and the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder for the edge.  Then I took a sponge and sponged all around with Soft Suede to make it look old and dingy.  My stamp set is Field of Flowers inked with Old Olive and Calypso Coral.  Next I used my scissors and scraped my edges to make it look worn.  I also took out my Spritzer Tool with markers to make it look even more distressed.  My sentiment is from Three Little Words punched with the Word Window Punch and nested with a piece of Soft Suede punched with the Modern Lable Punch.

Hello Friends – It is Wednesday right.  Has everyone got big plans for the weekend?  I know when we had a lake house at Table Rock Lake, Memorial Day was like opening day.  It's the start of the summer.  I'm hoping to get to work on the pool a little bit.  It's always a challenging time getting the pool ready.  Oh My!!!  Today I have a very pretty card, at least I thnk so.  It's our beautiful Soft Suede again.  Such a lovely color as a background.  I'm so glad it will be around for another year.  And of course there is nothing prettier than matting a piece of PIP on top punched with the Scallop Trim Border.  This punch will be available again come July 1st.  i used a piece of Sweet Pea Designer Paper which is retired right now.  I sure hope SU comes up with another packet of Designer Papers like that.  It was a great go to source.  I also used the very pretty and new Square Lattice Embossing Folder #119976 which can be found on pg 24 of the Summer Mini.  The summer mini is just chocked full of great summer fun sets and they are very reasonable priced especially if you have gone to the clear mounts.  The stamp set is Watercolor Trio #120084.  This stamp set is fool proof.  I find the best way to ink it up is to use your markers.  This gives you the look of two colors the easy way.  My inks were Soft Suede, So Saffron, and Regal Rose.  My sentifment is from Great Friend #113792.  For embellishing I used a little piece of PIP 1/4 ribbon.  Easy Peasy.  Now it's your turn to make something beautiful.
