Three Great Stamp Sets Come Together

kinecltric

Hello Folks – Happy Monday to Ya. . .   I have been eyeing these two stamp sets since the release of our new catty in June.  I was finally able to get them so I wanted to share with you.  The sets are Hardwood and Kinda Eclectic.  Hardwwod is a great background stamp.  You will absolutely love it and Kinda Ecletric is just a happy stamp set and can be used for any occasion.  My card color is Crumb Cake and the ink is Early Expresso.  Next layer I used Calypso Coral matted with Whisper Whte.  This color combination was not my original thought.  It's funny how things just evolve isn't it.  My sun was stamped with Daffodil Delight and my leaves are in Garden Green.  My polka dots and a couple of the flowers are inked in Calypso Coral.  My gosh I forgot about the flowers, another stamp set that I have been putting off and finally purchased.  The flowers are from Petite Petals.  It's a great one for layering with many other SU floral stamp sets.  Another great feature is it has its own coordinating punch.  No scissors required !!!!!!!!  I believe my ribbon is retired, Early Express Satin 3/8" inch and I used some sparklely jewels for a little perk me up.

On the inside I decided to make it a birthday card and used old reliable Sassy Salutations and added a coulpe more rows of polka dots.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you liked my card today and I have given you a little inspiration.  Please shop at my online store for all your Stampin' Up supplies.  Have a wonderful day, take care, toodles

Lovely As A Tree Christmas

lovelyastreechristmas

Hello Folks – It's been a while since we chatted.  I'm sorry about that.  I've been busy designing cards for my Christmas Stamp A Stack.  My first priority is to keep them as simple as possible but still have that WOW factor that everybody loves.  That's challenging for me because I like lots and lots of detail.  But thats not feasable for assembly line card making.  Today I have my first stamp a stack card to share.  I've wanted to use Lovely As A Tree for ever and have just not done it.  So now's the time.  I struggeled over getting some type of skyline until I popped across this card and it's perfect.  For the background I used Work Of Art.  I just love this set.  Several of the stamps are great for giving you great backgrounds.  My color is from the newest In Colors this year Lost Lagoon.  I did stamp off to achieve this lighter color.  My trees are embossed using Black Embossing Power and our Heat Tool.  My sentiment has long retired but so appropriate for the feeling of the scene that I was trying to achieve.  The stamp set is For The Holidays.  For a little razzle dazzle I added just a touch of our Dazzling Details Glitter glue.  I love this stuff, so much easier and so much neater than using glitter.  Glitter gets all over me, makes me itch and I sparkle for days.  Not fun.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed todays card.  The Holiday Mini is in full swing now and there is no better time than now to get started on those Christmas Cards.  I know its hard to be thinking about Christmas just yet but you will feel much better if you don't wait to the last minute.  Been there and done that.  LOL  If I can help with designing or just shopping please drop me an email. I do custom cards if you need me.   I love working with you and being your demonstrator.  Take care now and have a wonderful stamping day.  Toodles
