From My Heart in Red and Blue
Hello Folks. . . hope you are having a great day. Today was a big day for Stampin' Up. The reveal of the new catalog was today over at the Mills cinema. This is something new this year. I was not able to go so I am anxiously awaiting some news. I've heard it is going to be great this. So exicted!!!!!!!!!!
Today I have a birthday card to share using the stamp set "From My Heart" #126557 and "Sassy SalutationsS #126707. Both are great sets and deserve to be in your collections. My desgner paper is from the Occcasions Mini "Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Pack" #132996 I love these colors together (Coastal Cabana and Real Red with a touch of Crumb Cake). Makes for a bright and cheerful color scheme. For my focal point I used a scalloped nestie and matted it with a circle of Real Red and Whisper White. My card is a standard A2 card with some of the front cut off. The small circles are from our 1", 1 /4" and 1 3/8" circle punches. The circles are what keeps the card front closed.

Summer Silhouettes
Hello FolKs. . . Happy Friday to ya. I've put together a pretty spring/summer style card. I've put together some pretty colors, Garden Green and Rich Razzelberry. Garden Green is not a color I tend to use very often but makes for a great grass/leaf color. don't you think. My cardstock is Whisper White, Garden Green Designer Series Paper and Polka Dot Parade DSP. My flowers are from the set called Summer Silhouetts #126447. My sentiment is from a retiring set called Bring on the Cake #121958. If you need a birthday set, Bring on the Cake, is a good one. My inks are Garden Green, Daffodil Delght, and a touch of Melon Mambo for a little spark. As a quilter I was told you should always have a touch of yellow in you quilts, so why not cards. On the inside I use a sentifment from Bring on the Cake. If you can this week is a great time to place your orders, Stampin' Up is offering FREE SHIPPING this week only.

Ears To You
Hello Folks. . . Here is a couple of last minute Easter Cards for my grandaughters this Sunday. My girls are older now instead of the great candy hunt I'm giving them some cash. Cash is always appreciated by teenagers. LOL
My card base is Whisper White matted with a piece of Basic Black. Next I used some of our Sweet Sorbet designer paper from our SAB mini. I love that paper, the colors so spring like. My stamp set is Ears To You (ret). I mounted them on a couple of label framelits. It still felt like it need a little spark, so I added some of our Basic Jewels for that little extra something.

Almost Masculine Monday
Hello Folks. . . Today I have a very special card to share for a young man who is turning "21". My inspiration came from Pinterest. What a great site. My layout is cased but I used different stamp sets and cool tools. Let's get to the deets
My card base is Crumb Cake and I embossed it with our Alphabet Press #130916 embossing folder. Sponged a little with Early Expreso and Cajun Craze inks. Layer #2 is a banner cut at 2" wide using Early Expresso cardstock and retired designer paper. On my banner I used some of our Linen Thread #104199 and attached a button by tying a bow and using a few mini glue dots. My stars come from retired punches using the same papers.
My star burst is from our new framlets set called Starburst Framelits #132967. You can find them in our Occasion Mini Pg 34. I topped it with a circle framelit in Very Vanilla and cut my numbers with more deisigner paper. For a little pick me up I used Cajun Craze Candy Dots from our Regals Collection. For the inside I stamped a star from a retired set and using our Happy Birthday from Sassy Salutations (w) 132070 (c) 126707.
Hope you enjoyed my masculine card for Masculine Monday that I didn't get posted to Tuesday. LOL Softball has started and we are off to a great start. Kourtney had a great day on Sunday. Least to say Sunday was not a great day to be at the ball park, but we made it thru and looking forward to some sunny days.
If you would like to case my card and need supplies I would love to be your demonstrator. To place your orders please click on the link below.

Round Easel Card
Hello Friends – – Hope you all are having a good day. Today I have a very special card to share. I come across these types of cards every once in a while and I'm always in awe, they are more than cards they are artwork. Simply breath taking. My card today doesn't do justice to the ones you can find on the Copic European Site and at Amacing Grace. It's amazing what all they put on these types of cards.
My image is a digial one and it is called "Mary" and you can find it here. It's worth taking a peak. This type of card is called an "Easel Card". You can make them square or round. I choose to make this one round just like the sample. I colored with my copics and tried to make it just like Sylvia's. I used what I had on hand.
I hope you enjoy it. Sorry my Stampin' Up friends but this card is mostly non Stampin' Up. Some of my embellishments/die cuts are from the greatest Stampin' Up tools on the planet. I struggled with the coloring on this one. There was a lot of coloring to do. Each one you do is a new and unique experience. I just need to keep plugging on. LOL
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will do the best I can to answer them. I appreciate all your support and I look forward to the next time. You can do this, you just have to start somewhere. Have a wonderful stamping day. Until next time. Toodles

Sympathy Card With Serene Silhouettes
Hello Friends. . . Today I have a sympathy card to share. Unfortunately I needed one of these just the other day. My Brother-In-Law passed with the same complications as my husband (organ failure from Diabetis). They're in heaven pain free now. One's fishing and the other one is playing music. I know I have said this many many times, you never know when you will need cards like this, so it's nice to have them ready to go.
This technique is a great way to achieve the deepth that everyone likes in our cardmaking. It's clear embossing. I used a little Versa Mark and clear embossing power. Heat set it with my heat gun. My colors are Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding and Sahara Sand. Sahara Sand is a great neutral color. It kinds of takes on the color that it is paired with. My designer paper is from 2013-2015 In Colors Designer Series Paper Pack. My ribbon is Crumb Cake 1/2" Seam Binding tied with a little piece of Whisper White Twine. I punched my sentiment with our Scallop Oval Punch. Tools Rule !!!!!!!!!!
My sentiment is from Petite Pairs. It's has two coordinating phrases to use on your card (one for the front and one for the inside). Great set to have by your side. My flowesr were stamped with our Serene Silhouettes.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you had a warm and sunny day today, ours was full of clouds and lots of rain. I guess it's just that time of year.
