25% Off Gently Falling and Gorgeous Grunge
Last Day To Receive your 25% Discount of 25 selected Stamp Sets. Click here to view
Hello folks. . . so nice to chat with you again. I know I have mentioned this before, but it's worth saying one more time "sometimes the most simplest of designs can be the most stunning" Today I would like to share one of them. My inspiration was from another blogger, thanks Cristina. My card is a layer free card. My base is Very Vanilla. I used one of our stamp sets that are on sale (25% off) Gently Falling (128430/123804). This stamp set comes with twelve (12) images. Six are background stamps and six are line images. I only used the line image of the Maple Leaf. My ink is More Mustard. I stamped three leafs and one extra to cut out to give the card more dimension. My spots are from Gorgeous Grunge (130514/130517), also 25% off, stamped with Brown Sugar ink. My sentiment if an ole' favorite from Sassy Salutations (132070/126707). For a little more pizzazz I used some of our Early Expresso Twine and tied it in a bow. On the inside I stamped another Maple Leaf in the same color. I normally keep my inside clean and wait to add a verse until I know what I'm going to use it for. This way I'm prepared in a crunch.
Gently Falling is just one of the 25 stamp sets that are now 25% off. This promotion only lasts until October 28th. Click here and you can view all 25 sets that are available.

I was looking at this weeks MOJO Sketch and thought I could make a pretty Christmas Card or winter birthday. I love our new Winter Frost #132341 Specialty Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Catalog. The paper is just beautiful and a couple of the sheets are foiled for that extra pizzazz. My colors are Smoky Gray, Shimmery White and Island Indigo. I used our Northern Flurry Embossing Folder #120902 on my first layer. Cut a few circles with our Circle Framelits #130911. I used two stamp sets the snowflake from Serene Snowflakes (ret) and a non SU Sentiment Stamp. You will find in the Holiday Mini a brand new bundle with the Stamp Set Festive Flurry and matching framelits for $46.95 (Clear) and $54.95 (Wood). That's a 15% savings for your shopping pleasure. You now I love detail, so I added some Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon (ret) and three Rhinestone Basic Jewels #119246. TIP: Always design in threes, it is more pleasing to the eye.
Hope I was able to give you a little inspiration today, it really is time to start thinking about your Christmas Cards. No one enjoys waiting to the last minute and they don't get done. If you have questions, I'm only an email away. Stay warm, until next time. Toodles

Baby Cards With Hearts a Flutter
Hello friends. . . No, you're not seeing double. I have a dual set of baby cards to share with you today. I thought it only appropriate that I do a baby girl and a baby boy card to share with my followers.
Actually, my inspiration comes once again from our annual catalog. Thumbing thru for card ideas I came across one with a great looking banner and I took it from there. You can find it on pg. 124. I turned it around from a birthday to a baby card. My banner images come from the set called "Hearts a Flutter" #131922/129252 with its matching framelits #130159. On the boy card I used our new Alphabet Press embossing folder #130916 and on my girl card I used our girly girl Fancy Fan embossing folder #127751. My colors for the boy card are Coastal Cabana, Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz, for my girl card I using Strawberry Slush, Whisper White and Blushing Bride. I embossed with Craft Whisper White Ink and White Embossing Powder. My sentiment comes from the stamp set Itty Bitty Banners #132022/126257 with its matching framelits Bitty Banners #129267. Accessories are a few random buttons and some pretty 3/8" WW Taffeta Ribbon
I hope I have inspired you to try your hand at handcrafting some of your own cards. It's a great stress reliever and gives you a feeling of accomplishment and pride when you do. If you have any questions please drop me a note. If you are in need of supplies please shop in my On Line Store 24/7. Have a wonderful day and Happy Stamping. Toodles

Gift Ensemble
Hello friends. . . happy day and welcome to the week end. I have a short post for your today, I'm sharing one of my craft fair projects, I'm calling it my Gift Ensemble. It includes one card with a matching note pad. Will make a great teacher or secret santa gift. Most of my products are from Stampin' Up but I did use a non SU set for my focal point. The flowers are cute but I fell in love with the cute leaves. Aren't they just adorable. The chunky little leaves just make my heart sing.. Don't you love that when you craft.
I hope you enjoyed my gift set, I'm making several of these as one of my craft fair items. If you have any questions please drop me a note. If you need any Stampin' Up products please shop in my ONLINE STORE at the link below. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week end. The weather has been exceptional this week, hope the same for your area. Until next time. Toodles

Christmas Gift Idea – Paper Wreath
Simply Beautiful
Hello friends. . . are you having a good day. I sure hope so. It is a little chilly here but the sun is shining and guess what we have a ball game today. Yippie!!! Today I have something very special to share. It is another gift idea and most likely if you are a surfer of the net like I am this has been the latest rage out there. Don't say "Oh No I Can't Do This" becasue Yes You Can. LOL Here is how it's done.
Get yourself a 10 or 12" foam wreath at a big box store. Choose 5 to 6 pretty sheets of 12 x 12 designer paper. I choose the new Winter Frost #132341 from our Holiday Catalog. TIP: Be sure when you choose your papers that you have contrast with light and darks. This will make your project pop. Get your trimmer out, I used our Stampin' Trimmer #126889. It's a great trimmer, The great thing about it, it has a large enough surface to cut your card without pulling out the extension. So happy!! Next cut your paper into 1/2" strips. Six sheets of paper makes a lot of 1/2" strips. Take your bone folder and curl your strips. I curled half of each end one side at a time. Some of the paper has foil in it and it doesn't curl as tightly as you want it to. So wrap it around your finger and form circles. Works beautifully. Remember you want curls but loose curls so it looks like ribbon on your wreath. Randomly attach these curls by using a long straight pen. Attach them close together, you don't want any foam showing but don't stress you can always go back and insert more strips where you think it needs to be fluffier. Is this a word? I'm going with it anyway. Oh I need to mention I did tie a piece of pretty ribbon NSU at the top of my wreath and hide the ends when I attached my curls with straight pens. I think that's it, it is really easy to do, takes about 2 1/2 hours start to finish and looks very pretty when your done. I would take care in storing it, after all it is paper.
This is what they should look like. These are just
a few, you will have many many more.
Thanks for stopping by, take care folks, until next time. Click on the link below and feel free to do all your shopping in my On Line Store. Toodles

A Make and Take With Serene Silhouettes
Hello friends. . Well, I'm just a couple days late. The vendor fair went well. Didn't have anyone take my class (bummer) but I did get a couple of very interested ladies. Hopefully I will see them in class.
OMG – it's so chilly here today. In the fifties I believe. Boy you never now what weather you will have here in Missouri, it changes from day to day. LOL Today I have my Make It And Take it card to share. It is clean, quick and very easy. For your base I used Crumb Cake nested with a piece of Early Expresso, A great color combo. All the measurements are for a standard A2 card with 1/8" borders. My focal piece is Very Vanilla. I have used two stamp sets, Serene Silhouettes #132073/127324 and Papillion Potpourri #132058/123759. Ink colors are Crumb Cake and Marina Mist. The butterfly was punched with the coordinating Elegant Butterfly Punch #127526. My sentiment is from Sassy Salutations #132070/126707. Great font and a must have for your stamp collection. The inside is unfinished at this moment, but I will cut a nesting piece of Very Vanilla to finish it off.
