Ronald McDonald’s Moving Forward

SUO Ronald McDonald's House Stamp Set Moving Forward Holiday Mini $99 Starter Kit

Hello Folks. . .  Happy day to ya.  I'm getting down to the wire here.
I need to continue to cut paper, but I thought I would take a little
time out and share with you today a birthday card using Stampin'
Ups Moving Forward Set
.  It this years Ronald McDonald House Set.
Beside being to darn cute, Stampin' Up donates $3 to the
Ronald McDonald House with every set sold.

For this card I used our more rustic looking cardstock called
Natural's White (102316).  Besides having little specks of color
it it also a very sturdy cardstock.  Just be sure to have your image
inked very well for complete coverage.

Next I used some Basic Black and a new designer paper for this year
our Polka Dot Parade Designer Paper (126902).  Such fun and
cheerie paper.  For some added pizzazz I used our Adorning Accents
Edgelits (125595
).  TIP:  To keep your die steady use a piece of
Post It Note and cover the edges to keep it from slipping on you.
You'll be happy you did.

Next I used some Basic Black and used our Delicate Doilies Sizzlits
Stamped my image on another piece of Natural's White
and punched with our 2 1/2" Circle Punch (120906).  Added some
Red Brads and used a little Crystal Effects (101055) to give the
little red flowers some POP!!  On the inside I used our new word
set Sassy Salutation (126705/126707).

Now you have a great looking card you can send to just about

Spooky Bingo Bits Clear Candy Box

Halloween Clear Treat Box Stampin Up Spooky Bingo Bits Holdiay Mini Craft Fair project

Hello Folks. . .  I'm sorry for being MIA for so long.  I'm experiencing
technical difficulties with my blog and computer.  They tell me I'm
so outdated that I need a new computer.  I have been putting this
off not wanting to spend the money.  But I guess I don't have much
of a choice.

A few days back I found the cutest 3D Halloween Treat Candy Holders
over on Chic n' Scratch.  I completely fell in love with it and cased it.
You will be surprised with what is used for the top and bottom of this
see thru holder.  They are none other than Stampin' Ups very own
brad/button plastic holders.  See it pays to save everything.  LOL
I'm going to add these clear candy boxes to my craft fair items.  My
craft fairs are fastly approaching and of course I feel I'm never
quite ready.

Here's the supply list.  You will need one of Stampin' Ups plastic
contaners that hold our brads/buttons, Window Sheets, Polka Dot
Parade Designer Paper, Whisper White cardstock, our 2 1/2"
Circle Punch, our Postage Stamp Punch, and our 1" Square Punch.
The stamp set is Spooky Bingo Bits found on pg 29 of the catalog.
You can choose any image you like, I chose the mummy face so I
could add some fun googlie eyes.  Be sure and have some red line
sticky tape on hand.  It's a must have for this project.  To keep the box
in tack I used some of our 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Pumpkin Pie and
Daffodil Delight.

I hope you take some time out and make up one of these little boxes.
They are so cute and great little Halloween gifts for your children,
grandchildren and even the big children.  Halloween is just a fun time.

Thanks for stopping by and please have patience with me while I
try and work out these issues.  Until next time have a wonderful
stamping day.  Put a smile on someone's face.  Toodles

Spooky Halloween Fun

Hello Folks. . .  OMG I almost forget I need to post today.  I'm
working on cutting paper for my Christmas Card Stamp A Stack.
So here it goes.

Today I have a very cute Halloween Card to share with you.  I
just love fall and all the colors that it brings with it.  My cardbase
is Very Vanilla.  I'm what you call a true stamper, I love making
my own designer papers.  The top half of my card was stamped
with the background stamp from French Folliage (not sure what
else you can call it) in Tangerine Tango and Basic Black.  The
bottom half I used Tango cardstock and designer paper from our
Neutrals Designer Series Paper Pack.  Used our retired ticket
punch on the corners.  I made a banner and stamped Spooky
on it from Wicked Cool Stamp Set and added some fun googlie

For my focal point I used our Postage Stamp Punch and the
1" square punch.  Stamped some fun faces from Spooky Bingo
Bits.  Put them on with dimenstionals.  Again added some fun
googlie eyes.  You can find them in the Holiday Mini on pg 27.
A must have if you enjoy making Halloween cards for the kids.

My pretty is a piece of our 1/2" Scallop Dots Tangerine Tango
Ribbon.  If you look close you can also see a large glittered
brad on my banner.  You can find our brads on pg 174 of your
catty.  Stampin' Up has such fun accessories to make our cards
shine, don't you think.  On the inside I used our Happy Halloween
from Wacky Wishes.  This is a hostess set and can be yours
when you place and order of $150 or have a workshop with the
same amount.  Contact me and we can have a fun time with
family and friends making these cute cards.

Tulip Embossing Folder to set up my focal point.  Another piece of
EE topped with a piece of Very Vanilla.  My stamp set is Serene
found on pg 75 of your catty.  I gave my flowers a shadow
effect by stamping them off with Crumb Cake and then coming
back with Early Expresso ink.  Just like Vicki's I used our new
Essential Paper Piercing Pack in the oval shape and then
stamped a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  For some
added interest I used a piece of our Baja Breeze Seam
Binding Ribbon.

On the inside I included some of the flowers again stamped
with Crumb Cake.  Thought it needed a subtle touch.

More Deets on the Christmas Ornament Card

SUO Polar Bear Ornament Card

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Monday to ya.  I've had a few questions on the
construction of my Ornament Bear Christmas Card so I thought I would
post a few pictures to help you see how it goes together.

It's a standard A2 card cut at 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5.5.  Night of Navy
is my base layered with a piece of Brushed Silver cut at 4 x 5 1/4,
next is a layer of Whisper White cut a 5 x 3 3/4.  The WW is embossed
with the Northern Flurry embossing folder.  Next, at the bottom of your
WW piece punch using the Ornament Punch.  Place it in the middle and
up a far as it will go. Next using a sponge dauber I sponged lightly
around the ornament to give it some depth.   Stamp Set is Polar Party.
I colored my bear and  cut him out with snipes.  I did make a little slit next
to the present and under the mitten
so I could place the present outside
of the ornament opening.  Put the bear on some dimenstional  set aside.
To make it look dimensional behind the bear cut a 2 1/4" square.  The bear
will be attached to it.  To attach the square I put some foam tape around
sides and top of my ornament opening, but left the bottom open.
Attach your square to the opening and then you can slip the bear in and
attach him to the background square.  Don't forget to add your silver cord
before you put the card together.  I attached my cord with some scotch tape
on the back.  Add your pearl and viola' you have a exceptionaly cute
Christmas Card.  I have included some pictures.  Hope this helps.

Cased Christmas Ornament Card

SUO Polar Party Ornament Christmas Card Stampin Up Holiday Mini Spools Promotion

Hello Friends. . .  Today I'm featuring a darling stamp set called Polar
Party (W122675/C122677).  The card layout for this one is just too too
cute, don't you think?  I originally saw this card layout on Pinterest.
This card is posted on Splitcoast under the name flicflac Mama.  So
so clever, the creativity out there sometimes blows me away.

My cardbase is Night of Navy, matted with Brushed Silver and matted
again with a piece of Whisper White.  I embossed it with our Northern
Flurry Folder and embellished them with Jewels.  Next I used our
Ornament Punch.  Place it as far up the card front as possible and
center.  I stamped my little bear with Black Stazon Ink and colored him
with markers.  Punched a 1/8" hole with my hand held punch and used
some silver cord (retired).  My sentiments, both inside and out come
from one of our Hostess Sets called Wacky Wishes.  I also stamped
the inside with snowflakes from our Snow Swirled Stamp Set.  Oh I
almost forget add a large Pearl to the top of his cap for a little pizzazz.

Just in case you can't see in the
the bear and his background
are raised with dimensionals.  This
is so cute and is a very impressive
Christmas Card to add to your stack
If you have any questions please
I'm only an email away but I'm sure
you can get through it pretty easily,
just take your time. I also raised the
Whisper White piece with foam tape.
It worked like a charm.
