Aviary Hello
Hello Folks. Happy Thursday. Welcome to my little spot in cyber space. Today I would like to share with you this weeks MOJO sketch. When putting this card together I thought of my friend Sue S. Hello Sue I hope you stopped in this morning so you can get a peek at this card. I know Sue loves my color combo today, pink and gray. Everytime I use those colors I think you her.
My base is Whisper White topped with gray designer paper from Twitterpated #125406 and my Pretty In Pink DP is from the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack. Just in case you have not noticed there is a DP Series Paper Stack from every color family.
My stamp set is Aviary W116856/C120462. I love all the curly cues in this set. So girly, don't you think. My sentiment matched perfectly don't you think. It is from a retired Hostess Set called Swirls & Curls Verses. Stampin' Up does a great job of coordinating. These go together like two peas in a pod. LOL My designer buttons are called Twitterpated #125579. You can find them in the Occasion Mini on pg 12. The Pretty In Pink Scallop Polka Dot Ribbon #124141 was new this year. Very pretty.
Sale a Bration ends on March 31st, so now is the time to place your orders. Click here to shop at my On Line Store 24/7. I also have a video for you to watch. Stampin Up has introduced a new product. My card to share with you today is a Sympathy card made with Stampin' Ups Thoughts and Prayers #113252. It's clean and simple. I used Very Vanilla as my card base. Added another small strip of VV and embosed it with our Lattic Square EB Folder #119976. I love the tone on tone effect, don't you. I used Early Expresso ink for my image. Love this tree. FYI: You can purchase this tree in vinyl also for your wall. it's called Decor Elements and SU is discontinuing this line of decor on May 31st. My ovals are from my nesties. Unfortunately I still don't have the SU Ovals Die Cut #114525, but it is on my wish list.
My pretties are a couple of Rose Red Butterflies cut with our Beautiful Wings Embosslit #118138 and the Big Shot. My ribbon is our 3/8" Early Expresso Taffeta Ribbon. It's not available at the moment, it must have been in one of our minis. Great looking ribbon, I hope it comes back in June.

My technique to color in my image is Color Pencils and Gamosol. I add a little Diamond Glitter to jazz it up a bit. My stamp set is Everybunny (W122705/C122707). Is'nt it just the cutest. I was concerned about my ribbon. I didn't have the striped in Certainly Celery, so I used Wild Wasabi instead. I think it worked ok, don't you.

Summer Smooches
Hello My Stamping Friends. Happy Monday To Ya
Today is starting off looking beautiful out there.
I'm looking forward to my morning walk.
Today I have another sneek peek of some of the new products
(Summer Smooches) that can be purchase during April.
Stampin' Up is giving us a little peek of what we can expected to see
in this years new catalog. Just as a
reminder our new Idea Book and Catalog is being released
a month early. June 1st is the date.
This sneek peek includes a new stamp set (Bright Blossoms), deisgner paper,
fabric brads, frabric and a template just to name a few.
Get ready, come April Stampin' Up is going to knock your socks off.
My card for today starts with a base of Naturals White. This paper is new
for me and I'm liking it. It is thicker than our smooth Whisper White.
(Just be sure an ink your image up very well so you get good coverage when you stamp)
Next is a layer of the new Summer Smooches Designer Paper. I really like this one.
The pack is full of bright whimsy designs that put us in the spring and summer mood.
My little vase and flower is from the stamp set called Bright Blossoms. It is
matted on a piece of Island Indigo and So Saffron. Don't you just love
blue and yellow. My prettie is some Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding Ribbon (122330)
tied in a pretty bow. For more pizzazz I added some of our
Dazzleing Details Glitter Glue (124117) Love it !!!!!
I'm sure you recognize by now where my sentiment came from, yes
you guessed right Teeny Tiny Wishes (15370). I know
you have heard me say time and again, it's a must have in your stamping
collection. Oh, I used markers to ink up my stamp. I have
problems with markers, they don't give me full coverage. If anyone
has some pointers on this please let me know. I have found that
I can go back with a blender pen and reinkers. This gives me
another layer of ink and looks much better.
Well that's it for me today, I hope you have a grand day. The weather
sure looks good here for the moment. Thank you for letting me
be your Stampin' Up Guru. You can always shop at my
ON LINE STORE 24/7 or you can email me with your order if you
like that better. I'm here for all your shopping needs. Take care and until
next time. Toodles
Happy Thoughts
Hello folks. . . Happy Friday!!!!!!
Today I have a card to share that I made several weeks
ago and didn't pos. It looks very similar to the one I posted not too long ago.
It's the same colors but a different layout.
As you probably know by now my colors are from Everyday Enchatment #126154,
our Sale a Bration Designer Paper Pack. (It's FREE with a $50 order)
The colors are Pool Party, Poppy Parade and Whisper White.
My stamp set is Awash With Flowers #120549 and that cute little
green leaf is a non SU die cut, I just couldn't resist. I used one of my Lacey Circle
Dies from nesties and matched it up with two coordinating circles. You could
easily use our Scallop #2 Die Cut #113469 and two of our circle die cuts or punches. I
was just in a lacey kind of mood that day. LOL My sentiment is from
Field of Flowers #122762.
My pretties are 5/8" Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon#114616 attached with a pretty brad
from the Everyday Enchantment Brad Pack which is also FREE with a product order.
If you have a $400 workshop you can have all three, the Designer Paper, the Organdy Ribbon and the pretty Brads. Gather up some neighbors, family and friends and let's party.
I'm lovin' being your Stampin' Up Demonstrator. Thank You. If you would like to case this card or if you are in need of other great Stampin' Up products please shop at my On Line Store. to share with you today. Beginning April 1st Stampin' Up is givng us a SNEEK PEEK of
of some of the new products that will be in our new catalog on June 1st.
I think you are gonna love this new stamp set. It's fun and whisical. Just my kind of set. Plus it has matching designer paper, fabric brads, fabric and a template that all works together so well.
Now for the card. My card base is a piece of Naturals White topped with some of the new designer paper. My colors are Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral. I think you get the idea, these are mostly the In Colors with a few regulars added in. The sketch is from this weeks MOJO Sketch. I used the Lattice Square Embossing Folder on my first layer. For my focal point I decided to use our Tag Punch for a little more pizzazz. I added some Dazzeling Diamonds for sparkle. A couple of yellow brads in the corners for interest. My sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. My go to set definietly. The thinking of you sentiment is so versitile, it can be anything that you need at the time you need it. Just add your birthday, anniversary, get well on the inside and your card is ready to be mailed.
The big buzz lately has been the introduction of our new Diagonal Scoring Plate. It will make any size envelope or box that you happen to need. I made a matching envelope for my card by taking a quality piece of copy paper, stamping on it and then used our new Diagonal Plate and viola' you have a very cute and professional looking envie that anyone would be happy to receive. Springtime With Button Buddies
Hello Folks. . . It feels like spring is in the air here in Missouri. The trees are starting to bud and the tulips are a sproutin'. On this sunny Monday morning I have a cute spring like card to share. Some time back I bought a picket fence die cut. I haven't used it for a long time but something was tellin' me to grab it yesterday.
My card base is cut at 5.5 x 8.5, scored at 4.25. I used some new cardstock called Natural White (102316). If you like a heavier cardstock to work with you must give this a try. I'm really liking it. My next layer is a piece of Pool Party and I embossed it with our Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (117335) for a little pizzazz. Next I cut a piece of Natural White 4 x 3. Trimmed off the corners with our 3/16" Corner Punch (119871). To make my clouds I used our 1 3/4" Scallop Circle (119854), randomly placed it and sponged with Pool Party. Actually your are using the scallop as a mask. Sponged three times to make three clouds. You'll get a better idea from the pic below.
Next I stamped the floral spray from the vase stamp in Button Buddies (W122735/C122737). Who would have thought of spring in a winter stamp set. You gotta love it. I used markers to ink up just the flowers (Melon Mango, and Old Olive). Attached my fence with dimensionals. My sentiment is from a retired set called Touch of Kindness. You know the one with the cute bird bath. Added some pretties. 3/8" Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon and a butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die.
SNEEK PEEK ALERT — I'm getting some new goodies today. Stampin' Up is releasing a sneek peek of some of the new products that will be available in the new catty which will be revealed June 1st. . During the month of April you will have the opportunity to order these cute new products.. It includes a stamp set, designer paper, matching brads and more. It's called Summer Smoochies. I hope to have a sample to share with you tomorrow.
Well that's all for me folks. Thanks for stopping by. I love being your go to guru. LOL You can place your order ON LINE or email me. I love helping you shop !!!!!! Take care folks, until next time. Toodles

Mother’s Day Bordering On Romance
Hello Stampers. . . welcome to SandiesKorner this Saturday morning. If you have been following my blog recently you already know that I am preparing for a Tea Party at the end of this month and I only thought it was appropriate to have a couple of Mother's Day cards ready. When browsing one day I came across this beautiful card using Stampin' Ups Bordering on Romance (W125480/C125482). You can find it in our Occasion Mini on pg 11. It doesn't look like much when you first see it, but WOW when you color it or paper piece it you will have a master piece, no doubt. This card was totaly cased from the very talented Vikki Burdick from ItsAStampThing. Thanks Vikki.
Now for the deets. As I said the stamp set is Bordering On Romance. My colors are Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Twipperpated Deisgner Paper Pack (125406). My image was stamped on Shimmery White paper with Black Stazon and them colored in with my reinkers and blender pen. Press gently so no pilling occurs on your paper. Colors are Pretty In Pink, Rose Red and Old Olive. The sketch is one that I use often. If you look closely you will see that I used our Square Lattice Embossing Folder (119976) on the piece of NQN. I love this embosing folder, it gives you the look of fabric.
My sentiment is from a retired set Well Scripted. I use this set alot. The font is so pretty and the words can be used over and over. So sorry to see it retired. Well we win some and lose some don't we. For some added pizzazz I used our 5/8" Whisper White Satin Ribbon (114616). It's a must have in your crafting stash. (TIP: You can make this ribbon any color to match what you need by coloring it with your reinkers and a few drops of water or you can even use your markers) Give it a try when you are in a pinch for ribbon. The pearls are from our Basic Pearls Collection (119247). There are 150 pieces in a variety of sizes for you to choose from.
Well that its for me today. Looks like it might be another day outside. I have a few plants that need to be repotted and my patio needs to be swept.
As your demonstrator I always appreciate your business, so if you would like to case this card or are in need of any Stampin' Up supplies please shop at my ON LINE STORE.
