Today I have a project to share using the Fabulous Florets stamp set from the Summer Mini. If you love floral this is a good one. My color combo is Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and Paisley Prints DP. I used a couple of cool tools; the Scallop Trim Border Punch and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder along with the fabulous Big Shot. My technique is embossing. I first stamped in Versa Mark on Baja Breeze cardstock and embossed with White Embossing Pwd and used my heat tool. I then got my blender pen out and my Not Quite Navy reinker and darkened some of the petals to give them some depth. I hope you can see it for it worked very well. My stem was stamped with Pear Pizzaz and the flowers were cut out and put on with dimensionals. I tied a Mary Brown bow in Baja Breeze seam binding and added a tag with a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Today I have a simple project to share. My card base is Crumb Cake and has been embossed with our Polka Dot Embossing Folder using the Big Shot. I then took my Whisper White craft ink pad and used the technique called Direct To Paper. Be generous with your ink. It will fade just a tad as it dries. Next up is a piece of Very Vanilla topped with a smaller piece of Crumb Cake. Here I stamped our new stamp set from the Summer Mini called Fabulous Florets. Be sure to fill in your space as best you can, again inked with Whisper White Craft Ink. My flowers were punched from punches. The smaller flower is a retired punch. and large 5 petal flower is the Fancy Flower Punch. The flower on top of our 5 petal flower was punched from our Birds and Bloom Die Cut using Newsprint DP. Add some random buttons and ribbon and viola' you have a cute and simple card.

Jazzin’ It Up Today
Hi Folks !!!!!!! Boy oh boy, I'm jazzin it up today. I don't normally do this but today I have a project that is not Stampin' Up. I came across this great paper called Cosmo Cricket and just fell in love with it. It's bright, cherry and I love the patterns. My cardbase is More Mustard, matted with Very Vanilla and I thought the paper went well with Poppy Parade. I used our fun flower die cut and the big shot machine to make my 3D flower, sponged some More Mustard around the edges and adhered it with a large mini glue dot. My sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and I punched it out with our Curly Label Punch. Tied some Linen Thread around it and attached a random button. I hope you enjoy my jazzed up card today. so much fun!!!!!!!!!!
June 1st is right around the corner. If you need a new catty please email me and I will set one aside for your. If you are not able to pick it up shipping will be $6.00.

Springtime Vintage Folded Flower
Good Morning To All. . . Holy Cow the sun is shining here this morning. Looking forward to a great day. My project to share with you today is a soft and vintage looking kind of card. Can you believe it, there is no stamping on this card but I do have the ever popular folded flower as my focal point. I have a picture tutorial to share or you can Google Folded Flower and find a video to view. Colors are Very Vanilla, Rose Red, Springtime Vintage DP (ret), a piece from Pawsively Prints DP and the ever so lovely 4" paper doily. Wow doily's are not just for cakes anymore. LOL I left my inside blank, not sure what I will be using this for. We could even distress this a little bit with sponging Soft Suede around the edges. I choose not to do that at this time. I hope you enjoy the card on this bright Friday morning.

A Beautiful Daisy
Good Morning To All…. Boy oh Boy what a day we had here in the midwest. Our hearts and prayers go out to all the people effected by the terrible storms and it seems like it is not over yet. Here in Missouri we are expecting a very stormy and dangerous day.
Today my project is just so cute. It is this weeks MOJO Sketch. It's not an over embellished card today it's just right. My colors are Very Vanilla, Early Expresso, DP from Paisley Prints and So Saffron for my flower. My stamp sentiment is from Herbs Expressions and my daisy flower was cut with the Daisies #2 die cut and my Big Shot. I also used a sentiment from Tiny Tags and punched it out with the matching punch. I used one of my favorite border punches, you know which one, the Scallop Trim Border Punch several times to make the border trim at the bottom of the card. Added a random button and used our new Bakers Twine in Early Expresso for a little more pizzazz and of course lets not forget our beautifully cut rhinestones. Have you every seen such beautiful sparkle from a rhinestone before. They are super duper!!!!! It's amazing how these stones have been cut to maximize the sparkle. Just beautiful.
Here's how you put your daisy together. Gather up some coordinating cardstock. I used a couple pieces of So Saffron and More Mustard. Placed them on the middle and small daisy and ran them thru the Big Shot. To put them together I used some of our Tom Boy Glue and placed just a tad around the middle circle of the flower and started stacking them. I used a total of four daisies each from the middle and small daisy. Picked a green button from our Subtles Designer Buttons and added a piece of our Bakers Twin to tie a knot. My ribbon is a 3/8" piece of Old Olive Taffeta ribbon. I added my little tag punches with a safety pin from our Vintage Trinkets. Hope you enjoyed the card and if you are in need of any supplies please click on my on line button below.

Sneek Peek With Flower Fest
Good Morning My Stamping Friends. Hope you are doing well. The sun is shining right at this moment, but they tell us bad storms for this afternoon. Can't wait for all of this to just go away.
Today I have a real cute sneek peek from one of the stamp sets in the Summer Mini. It's called Flower Fest and there are so many things you can do with it. Today I choose colors of Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, Peach Parfait and some So Saffron. My designer paper is from a couple of places. The Peach Parfait is from our very own Level 1 Hostess 6 x 6 Paper Pack. This paper is so cute. My bottom designer paper is from Sunny Garden.
For my flowers I stamped them with Versamark and embossed them with Natural White Embossing Paper on Peach Parfait and So Saffron. For a little added depth I then grabbed for my sponges and sponged just a little color on them. Not sure you can see it in the picture, but it truly did make them stand out a bit more. Cut them out with my Paper Snips #103579 and used deminsionals. A great pair of scissor by the way, the price is right and they are very sharp. I don't have any SU oval die cuts so I had to use my trusty nesties. The sentiment is from the SAB set So Happy For You. I just love the font don't you. Next was the bow, oh boy I do think I'm getting better at this. or i just lucked out for this one. The bow technique is from Mary Brown. I have used it a couple of times. It takes a little practice, but ladies it is worth it. So whimsy!!!!! Oh by the way layout was taken from a couple of places, It's a Stamp Thing and Stamper's Camper. They had some great layouts this last week. Thank you ladies it looks great.

Mini Album Birthday Style
Hello My Friends . . . Are you having a good Friday morning. In honor of National Scrapbooking Month I have a special project to share with you. I saw this cute little mini album on line and thought it would be the perfect project for my scrapbooking buddies in our stamp club. You can get the full directions here to make this cute album. My color combo is Melon Mambo, Whisper White and some DP from the brights designer series paper. To dress up the inside I decided to make the back section my focal point and make a cute box. I used one of my nesties to cut my box, but first I glued a peice of pattern paper onto a light weight coasters and then cut it with my nestie and big shot. For my bow, I used our small and large oval punches. First punch with the small oval and then go back in and center your large oval over the hole that you punched with the smaller oval. I took a strip of Whisper White and made my box lid and dressed it up a little with some striped pink dp. To help keep the album closed I made a belly band. from a strip of Melon Mambo appox 1" by 12". Used a few of our Scallop Circle Punches and the Build a Cupcake Punch. Added a splash of Whisper White Satin Ribbon and viola' you have a very cute mini album for someone special.
