OMG look what I have received.  First let me thank Jenny at Jenny Wren's Stamping Nest for sending me this beautiful Stylish Blogging Award.  I don't know quite what to say.  It was so sweet of you to think of me and I am so happy to receive it.

Well I don't know quite where to start

1. I will soon be turning 60 years old in June.  Don't know quite where the time went.
2. I have been married to my best friend and love for 41 years and I would do it all over again.
3. I have 2 children Sherry and Jason and two granddaughters Kourtney and Kayleigh
4. I am an avid animal lover.  My Goldie Gril gets away with way more than my children ever did.  LOL  She is a GoldenDoodle
5. I worked for McDonnel Douglas in the Engineering Dept. for 27 years.
6. I've been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator since 2005.  It's a great way to spend your time
7. My favorite TV show is the Closer and Everybody Loves Raymond is a close second.
8. I love my family.  My granddaughters are the best and I enjoy watching them turn into young ladies.

Hello My Friends. . .  OMG I'm so excited about today's card.  It is just cute as a button.  LOL  It just puts a smile on my face and isn't that what it's all about.  Once again I am using a sketch from Michelle Wooderson.   There is not much stamping on it but it does have layers galore.  My cardstock is Very Vanilla, matted with So Saffron and retired DP.  I just love the combination of Choc Chip and So Saffron.  My next layer is a 4" paper doily.  Doiliess are the rage right now and they do add a cute touch to your design.  Don't you think?  My button layer is from My Digital Studio, so it was computer generated.  This is not just a scrapbooking software.  You can purchase this innovated software for just $79.95.  Item no. is 118108.  There is so much you can do with it if you take the time to learn and experiment.  My buttons are from my stash.  My sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and I punched it out with our Curly Label Punch.  If you're not a computer geek be sure and check out our new stamp set in the Occasions Mini called Sew Suite.  It has some great images for the sewing enthusiast.

Hi Everyone. . . thanks for all your comments, I'm glad to be back.  My computer has been cleaned and is feelin' good.  While I was away I did find time to make some cards, this takes a little bit of the stress off when I can work ahead.  Now for my card today.  My sketch is from Michelle Wooderson at Mish Mash.  My card base is Baja Breeze, matted with some Very Vanilla and my DP is the lovely Springtime Vintage.  Love it!!!!!!  The card is pretty simple.  I used our Scallop Trim Border and Corner Punches to make my rectangle.  For those of you who do not know how to make a scallop box or triangle, check out the Stampin' Up UTube site.  I'm sure there are several videos for you to choose from.  Darn this would have been a great time to experiment with making videos.  I'm just a little intimidated when it comes to making these things.  It's something I need to work on.  Back to the card now.  My scallop border was made with my slit punch.  It is now retired and we have a new die cut with several designs on it.  Check that out.  My stamp sets are Sweet Summer and Tiny Tags.  For my small scallop I used the die cut from Birds and Blooms, the one inch circle punch nests beautifully with it.

Good Morning My Crafty Friends. . .  Welcome to Sunday here on the blogaroonie.  I'm sure I have showed you this sketch before.  It's a great sketch and has a very nice place to showcase your stamp set.  I used Rose Red for my card base and matted it with Very Vanilla.  I embossed my Very Vanilla with the Final Press Embossing Folder.  Next up is another piece of Rose Red and a piece of Springtime Vintage Designer Paper.  Have you gotten you Springtime Vintage DP yet?  Boy oh Boy Stampin' Up hit it right on the nose with this set of dp.  All I have to say is Gorgeous!!!!   My third layer is another Rose Red piece and a strip of the stripped green.  My ribbon is a piece of Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon.  Now to my focal point.  Great isn't it.  The stamp set is Herb Expressions.  I get the urge to pull this out ever so often.  Even though it is herbs, it has a great set of floral images you can use.  Love those florals don't we.  My scallop is from the Scallop Circle #2 die cut and of course I used my Big Shot.  Great tool to have around.  I use mine every day.  My image was stamped with Black Stazon Ink on watercolor paper.  I let it dry just a bit and them color it with refill inks and my aqua brush.  For just a little highlight after my flowers were dry I dabbed on some Crystal Effects to make my color pop.  It works beautifully.  A must have in your stamping accessories.

Happy Friday To Ya. . .  Hope your morning has started off with a bang.  I have a wedding coming up soon and I needed a wedding card.  I soon discovered that I don't have any current wedding stamps.  Then I saw the MOJO Monday sketch this week and decided I can make this work.   My cardbase is Very Vanilla, matted with Rose Red and Springtime Vintage DP.  I used one of my Lacey Circles and matted it with some Springtime Vintage DP.  Just love that paper.  The stamp set is A Word For You.  This word set has some very nice phrases in it.  A good one to have in your stamp collection.  My ribbon is our 1/2" Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon.  Once I decided what my focal point was going to be this card came togehter very nicely.  Easy Peasy.  Supply List below.

Hello My Crafty Friends.  Sorry you didn't hear from me yesterday.  My MOJO deceided to go on vacation, but i hope she returns soon.  LOL  I've been cutting paper for stamp club this week.  Thanks for coming ladies, I think the projects were fun.  Today I'll share the other scrapbooking page that we made.  I used Pretty In Pink and Very Vanilla.  My stamp set is Sweet Summer.  I know I have posted several cards using this set, and I didn't want my scrapbookers to feel left out.  I stamped my flowers with Jet Black Stazon and then colored them in with SU markers.  For a little more pizzazz I used my Big Shot and the Beautiful Butterflies die cut.  My dp was from Spingtime Vintage.  Love that paper.  My ribbon is 3/8" Pretty In Pink Taffeta Ribbon.  My sentiment is from the SAB set So Happy For You.  We used the birthday wishes and the pretty butterfly in flight.

Hello My Friends. . .  Welcome to sandieskorner.  I'm sorry I don't have a card to share with you this morning, but I do have a scrapbook page that my Stamp Club will be doing this Wed.  It's the same technique that I showed you the other day.  Emboss Resist, but this time there is more space to show off the technique.  It's an easy technique to do but boy does it have a spectacular effect.  My color combo is Pear Pizzazz, Concord Crush and Very Vanilla.  I used my jumbo roller called Very Vintage.  I inked it up with Versmark Ink and rolled it on a piece of Very Vanilla.  Sprinkle your Clear Embossing Powder all over it and them heat set with your heat gun.  Your image should have the look of clear plastic.  Now all you have to do is color.  Get three of your sponges out along with some coordinating colors and start to sponge you piece.  When you have the colors just the way you want them viola' your done.  TIP:  I spread out a coffee filter and let my embossing powder fall into it then it is very easy to get all the embossing powder back into the small jar.  Also I cut my sponge into 4 pieces.  Here I only needed three.  I rinse them when I'm finished but keep them to use again with similar colors.  The stamp set I used was Vintage Vogue #118598.  I cut my flowers out and used demonsionasl.  Added some tiny pearls for the centers.  The sentiment is from Elements of Style #120045 .

Happy Valentin'es Day To All My Friends and welcome to sandieskorner.  Today I have a clean and simple card to share with you.  My color combo is Choc Chip, So Saffron, and Cherry Cobbler.  I've been playing around with my MDS (My Digital Studio) and came up with the focal point of my card today.  I used the brush stamp Bingo, but I played around with it and decided to replace the bingo top with friends.  MDS is so amazing everytime I play with it I learn something new.  I embossed my So Saffron layer with the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder just to add a little depth.  I'm just one of those people where negative space really bothers me.

Good Morning My Friends.  Welcome to the week end.  Today I have a short post for you.  I'm off to a bridal shower early this afternoon.  Todays share is this weeks MOJO Monday Sketch.  I tried my hand at a technique called Emboss Resist.  It is a technique that has been around for a while but boy what a beautiful way to embellish your card.  My colors are Pear Pizzaz, Concord Crush, Very Vanilly and Not Quite Navy.  I used the vintage roller to make my embossed strip.  I used Versa Mark Ink and Clear Embossing Powder and heat set it with my heat gun.  My sentiment is from Elements of Style and the flower from Vintage Vogue.  Added some pearls.  I used Stampin' Up pearls but I colored them with an alcohol based ink marker and let them dry.  Tuned out pretty good.
