Today's card has a new twist to it.  It's its size.  LOL  I cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock at 6 x 6 and scored at 3".  You don't often see it, but it is a cute little size and it does have a matching envelope.  Recipe below:

Hello Friends . . .  Thank you guys for all your comments for the blog candy and for the on line orders.  There's still time left for both.  I'll announce our Blog Candy winner on Tuesday and there's still plenty of great deals out there on Stampin' Ups On Line Spectacular Sale.  Today is Cyber Monday so don't delay.  Today I have a Thank You card to share.  I started out with my base of Very Vanilla.  Wanting the Vintage Look I decided to try a piece of Crumb Cake and destress it.  I used our jumbo roller Very Vintage inked up with Early Expresso, then I used the floral image from Artistic Etchings and inked it with Early Expresso and stamped it in a random pattern.  Then for the destressed look I sponged all around the edges and added some of our Crochet Trim called Victoria.  Oh so pretty!!!!  I wanted to use an image that had not been inked for a while and I selected the bird on the branch from Friends 24-7.  The only thing I colored was the branch.  I used our cool tool the Color Spritzer with an Early Expresso marker to make it look old and sponged again around the edges.  My thank you was from a retired set Watercolor Trio and punched with the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" Circle Punches.  Added some pearls and viola' you have a great thank you card.

Hello Friends. . .  Hope you all got thru Black Friday with lots of good sales.  I'm going this afternoo to see what all you left out there for me.  Today I have a pretty Birthday Card to share with you.  My cardbase is Sahara Sand, matted with Very Vanilla and then matted a third time using some of Blueberry Crisp Designer Paper.  I made a 3 dimenstional flower from the same paper pack.  To make the flower cut a 12" strip of dp at 3/4" inch and use the Ribbon Punch.  Then fold your paper accordion stype, tape the two ends together and glue the center real good.  I used tomboy multipurpose glue.  You'll have to be patient and hold it together for a little while and let it dry.  My birthday sentiment is from Well Scripted (ret).

Today I have a card to share using the Sweet Sunday Sketch.  My cardbase is Sahara Sand matted with Very Vanilla and matted again with a piece of Early Expresso.  I used our Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder on my Early Expresso for some nice texture.  Next layer is another piece of VV topped with a piece of Cherry Cobbler.  (I know bare with me a lot of matts today) Next mat is a piece of VV matted with a piece of designer paper from our Woodland Walk Designer Pack.  My focal point is VV matted on Sahara Sand.  I used my nesties for my ovals.  Stamp Set is Bells and Boughs, colored in with Certainly Celery Marker.  I stamped Merry Christmas from Teeny Tiny Wishes and punched it with the Word Window Punch and then the Modern Label Punch.  For the finishing touch I added some Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon.  Easy Peasy!!!  If you need any of the supplies to make this card please click below and shop my on-line store.  Contact me if you have questions.  I'm here to help.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a wonderful Monday.  Toodles

Hello My Crafty Friends . . .   Today I have a sweet but simple card to share with you.  It's all the rage right now and I must say I needed a break from Christmas Cards.  LOL  My cardbase is Marina Mist #119682.  I used our Polka Dot Embossing Folder #117335 on my cardbase just for a little texture.  My next layer is all the rage.  I used a 4" doily.  Oh so cute!!!!!!!!  My focal point has a little twist to it.  My vase was punched from the Large Oval Punch #119855.  I cut a little off the end to make it flat and inserted it back into the punch just a tad to make the vase round at the top.  My Stamp Set is Awash With Flowers #WM#117062 / CM#120549.  Inked my flower with the Marina Mist Marker #119679 and a blender pin.  For some depth on my vase I used the Stamp Set Itty Bitty Bits #120060.  I used some cool tools.  The 1 3/8" Circle Punch #119860 and the Scallop Circle Punch #119854.  My fleurs came from the Swirls Scribbles Die Cut #113441.  Added a little bling for sparkle.  Hope you enjoy the card.  I love reading you comments so keep them coming.

Good Morning To All.  We made it to Friday and we will soon be well into our week end.  Yippie!!!!  Today I have a Christmas Card to share with you.  I got the idea from another blog, but I must apolize I don't remember where.  My cardbase is a piece of Cherry Cobber, just one of my favs.  My next layer may surprise you but it worked.  I didn't have any designer paper from the beautiful Deck The Halls and I fell in love with the music notes paper.  So I got to work and  I cut myself a piece of News Print DP and took a sponge to it.  I used Always Artichoke Ink and sponged till I got it dark enough to resemble the piece in Deck the Hall DP.  Then I took the holly stamp from Bells and Boughs and stamped a few time to add some background.  I bet at first glance you couldn't even tell.  My focal point is stamped in Cherry Cobbler from the same set and mounted on a piece of Very Vanilla.  I used my nesties here but if you have the retired Cozzule Set that would work just fine.  I stamped another piece of the holly on Very Vanilla, colored it with a marker and then cut it out and used a dimensional to mounted it on top.  Added a few pearls and some 1/2" Cherry Cobber Seam Binding Ribbon.  TIP:  To get the all scrunched up look on your ribbon I took a piece of thread and stitched down the middle of my ribbon and ruffled it up until I liked it.  I also had a piece of 1/8" Score Tape already on my card so I could tape it down as I ruffled.  Easy Peasy.  I hope you enjoyed this pretty Christmas Card and if you need any of the supplies to make this card please shop in my on-line store for any of these supplies.  Thanks for stopping by today and chatting with me.  I am looking forward to the new Occasion Mini.  OMG it is full of cute stuff.  Have a wonderful day.  Toodles
