Hello My Stamping Friends . . .   Welcome to Sandies Korner.  OMG I had a great time at the Craft Fair.  I want to thank my dear friends, Debbie, Sue and Rachel for all of their support and friendship.  My sales were much more than I expected, enough so that I'm going to do it again on Nov. 13th here locally at one of our high schools.   I'm excited but in need of some great ideas.  Please drop me a comment or two on suggestions of what type of gift ideas you would like to see at a craft fair.  I appreciate any suggestions you might have.

Today I would like to share a cute project with you.  It is quick and easy and especially good if you like to give baked goodies and great candies for Christmas.  I used our cellophane bags #102210 on pg 170 of our catty and decorated them with our Top Note Biz Die #113463 and my Big Shot #113439. I added some random sheets of our designer papers and used the new stamp set Tags Til Christmas #121169.  On my snowman bag I even stamped sweet snowflakes with Craft Whisper White #101731

Aviary Stampin' Up Holiday Mini Demonstrator Starter Kit Greenhouse Gala Tote

Good Morning My Stamping Friends – Let's get right to it.  My card for today is a clean and simple one.  I used one of our neutral colors Sahara Sand #121043.  My card size is 5.5 x 8 1/2, scored at 4.25.  I decided it needed a little something so I embossed it with one of our new Embossing Folders Elegant Lines #119277.  For just a little bit of $$$ you can add a beautiful dimension to your cards.  Next up, I cut a piece of Early Express #119686 cut at 3 1/8 x 3 3/8.  Unusal numbers aren't they.  Stamp set is Aviary #120462, oh so cute!!!, inked with Sahara Sand Classic Pad #105208.  The birds are inked in Baja Breeze #111833.  My Whisper White #100730 matt is cut at 3 x 3.25. TIP:  Do a test run on your Whisper White piece and make sure you have it going in the right direction.  The measurements are very similar and it is easy to stamp it the wrong way.  My sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370.  Cool Tools are the Large Oval Punch #119855 and the Scallop Oval Punch #119856.  My Ribbon is a piece of 5/8" Marina Mist #119751.  Added just a little bling for pizzazz Jewels #119246

THERE'S STILL TIME. . .  Yes, there's still time to get in on the Special Demonstrator Starter Kit and receive your free Greenhouse Gala Tote Bag/Organizer.  You will begin receiving you 20% discount right away and the sneek peek for the Occasional Mini and Sale A Bration is coming soon.  And I am extending my offer of including the Color Coach as my special thank you to you for joining Sandy's Stampers.  This offer ends on October 18th.  Hobby and Career Demonstrators are welcome.  This is a pressure free zone.  I know you have questions so contact me.  I can help.

MOJO Sketch with Just Believe

Stampin' Up Just Believe Love Letter Holiday Mini MOJO MondayHappy Monday To You All – We had a great week end here, such lovely weather, couldn't ask for better.  Today I have my take on last weeks MOJO card,  Just a tad late but I thought I would share anyway.  I used Very Vanilla #101650 for my cardbase and matted it several times with Basic Black #102128 and a piece of dp from Love Letter #117162.  My stamp set is Just Believe #120453.  I used my nesties just to get the embossed square around my image.  Inks are Cherry Cobbler #119669 and Basic Black #101179.  For a little embellishment I used the new Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon #120992.  They also have Very Vinalla #120999 and Always Artichoke #121000.  You can find them in the Holiday Mini on pg 21.

Time is winding down for me, the craft show in Warrenton is this week end, so my posts this week may be a little random, plus Stamp Club will be here before you know it.   I'll try to get up best I can.

Also, I would like to take my blog up a notch and try my hand at making some videos.  I need some help/suggestions on how to do this.  I have a Kodak Share camera that will do videos and I have bought a tri pod to sit it on.  I sure would appreciate any help you can give me on how to get started, what equipment is best, how to edit and add text.  I'm just a tad intimidated with the whole thing and just need someone to help me get started.  I sure would appreciate it if you could steer some help my way.

I hope you enjoyed the card today.  If you need any supplies or have any questions, check out the link below.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Toodles

Happy Birthday Aviary Style

Stampin' Up Clearnace Rack Aviary Holiday Mini Happy Saturday To All My Crafty Friends – Are you ready to start your week end.  I had such a great time yesterday making my card.  My friend came over to stamp with me .  She brought the Stamp Set Aviary #120462 and I did the layout.  I've been eyeing this set for some time but it always seems to get taken off my list somehow.  You know how it is, we all have budgets to stay within.  Well after making this card, it is going to be top priority.  LOL  My card base is a 4.25 x 11 piece of Whisper White #100730, matted with a piece of Concord Crush #119792.  Just love it!!!!!!  It seems like Concord Crush is my new Choc Chip.  I've been wanting to pair CC with Pear Pizzazz #119795 and I finally did.  My focal point is a piece of Pear Pizzazz trimmed with our Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402.  You have probably guessed here to that I love that punch.  I stamped my image with Concord Cursh InK #119785 on WW and matted it on my Pear Pizzazz #119795A few day ago I decided I wanted to try my hands at making my own Crinkle Ribbon, you know that stuff that is just the rage right now.  So I ordered me some white seam binding cut off about 3 yards of it and got my mister out.  I put some water and a few drops of Concord Crush Ink in my mister.  First think up is to dampin my ribbon so the color would distrube better.  I misted it with some Tattered Angles Pearl Shimmer Mist and got it pretty damp, then I misted again with my Concord Crush till I got the color I was looking for.  Wadded it all up and stuffed it in a plastic bag.  Scrunched it up in one of the corners and twisted it tight.  Left it in there overnight and then took it out the next morning and let it air dry.  Viola' you have crinkled ribbon.  My sentiiment is from Curly Cute #120510 and my flower at the top is from Priceless #115052.  This card turned out really great and would put a smile on anyone's face.  If you would like to make one and need some supplies please click here on my Shop Now Button.

I also wanted to thank everyone for all the nice comments about my craft fair note pads.  Boy, you really like them.  We are getting down to the wire now, only a few weeks left.  I'll be sure and let you know how it goes.

It’s A Scrapbooking Kind of Day

Stampinup Scrapbooking Priceless Butterfly Prints Curly Cute Holiday Mini

Happy Thursday To You All . . . So nice of you to drop by.  Today I have my second scrapbooking page to share.  I'm so glad I have both completed now for my stamp club this month.  That eases some of the pressure.  My page is a 12 x 12 Pretty In Pink #119938 piece of cardstock.  I decided on a birthday theme this month.  This could be used for a baby, child, sister, mom or whomever you like.  It's a girly girl kind of page. LOL  I cut a strip of 12 x 12 Very Vanilla #119951 and used our Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402 on both sides.  Then I took our Fleur stamp from Priceless #115052 and stamped it vertically on my strip in Pretty In Pink #101301 ink.  Next I punched little flowers from our Itty Bitty  Shapes Punch #118309 and added some bling for sparkles with our Jewels #119246.  I used mini glue dots to adhere them to the page.  Next up, is the Butterfly Prints #120738 stamp set, this is a great one to have on hand.  The matt for my picture/pictures is Very Vanilla #119951 and Perfect Plum #101889.  I punched the top with our Scallop Trim Border Punch #118401 to coordinate with my strip.  My Vanilla banner is stamped with Curly Cute #120510.  The font on this set just makes your page sparkle.  Love it!!!!!!  I hope this inspires all you scrapbookers to make some memories today.  TIP:  For papercrafters and scrapbookers alike you can take any layout design and make it smaller or larger to fit the piece you are working on.  I guess what I'm trying to say is don't pass over a layout that you like, scale it down/up to the size that your are working on.

Don't forget to take a peek and all the new products that are now in the Clearnace Rack.  Stampin' Up has added lots and lots of products to the rack.  You can go on-line and place your orders.  Don't delay, quantities are limited.  Click here and Shop Now.

Christmas with Lovely As A Tree

Stampin' Up Celarance Rack Lovely As A Tree Holiday Mini Greenhouse Gala Free ToteHello Everyone – I'm feeling a bit rushed this morning.  I slept late and I'm running behind.  Oh well,  today I have a card to share that I happen to come across the other day over at Ann's Stamping Schach.  Mine turned out a little different but the design is similar.  I took a piece of River Rock #108640 cardstock as my card base and matted a piece of Early Expresso #119686.  My matted piece of dp is from Elegant Soiree' #117163.  This is a great color combo.  My focal point is stamp set Lovely As A Tree #115026.  I just love this set, it can be used for almost anything,  I tore a corner of my Very Vanilla #101650 and sponged it with Early Expresso #119670.  I'm trying to get the burnt destressed look.  My piece of River Rock was destressed with a pair of scissors on the corner's edge.  If you do this correctly you can break down the fibers and pull the paper apart and then you will have two very thin pieces of paper that you can then destress and curl.  I used  my piercing tool #116631 to curl the paper.  Then I added an Antique Brad #117273.  These are simply beautiful, the picture doesn't do them justice, you must have them in your possession.  LOL  For my embellishing I tied some ribbon.  It's green taffeta ribbon that I had on hand, used a button and threaded it with some Linen Thread #104199.  I made this into a Christmas Card by using the Tiny Tags  (merry) #118592 and the matching punch #117190 .  I love how it turned out.  If you have any questions about my cards or how to order supplies please let me know.  Click here to shop now.
