Another King of the Grill – Sneek Peak
Good Morning Everyone – I have a sick puppy dog this morning. She is 13 years old and has come down with an intestinal flu of some kind. She is not cooperating which makes my job tougher. Today I have another version of King of the Grill #120066. The picture to me seems a little blaah but is real cute in real life. My cardbase is Bashful Blue, matted with Old Olive which I used a texture plate on, then matted with a 2" strip of BB and used some of the Sweet Pea designer paper. My image is stamped with Black Stazon on Kraft paper. I stamped again and used my markers to color just sections around his face and lined it up with my craft image. I used three of my black nail heads in the corner to add a little pizazzzzzzz. Thanks for stopping in. Wish me luck with Ladybug she is being very stubborn. See ya tomorrow. Toodles

Sneek Peek Summer Mini – Bouquet Bunch
Hello Friends – Happy Monday — I'm tryting to recover from the weekend. It was so pretty here that I did a little yard work and then we celebrated my hubby's 64th birthday on Sunday. While everybody else watched I played ball with the girls. Had such a grand time and giggled alot. Today I have another sneek peek from the Summer Mini called Bouquet Bunch #120039. I got the sketch idea from Paper Crafts Magazine and our own Stampin' Success. When you join Sandy' Stampers you will receive as one of your perks a monthly magazine called the Stampin' Success full of ideas and business tips. My card base is Rich Razzleberry #115316, matted with a piece of Cottage Wall DP #115671. I used my Big Shot #113439 and the Top Note Die #113463. I can't say enough good things about the Big Shot, I use it every day. I made my clouds with a Scallop Circle Punch #109043. Used it like a masked and sponged very lightly with Bashful Blue. I colored my image with markers and a blender pen. Just be careful that the paper doesn't pill on you. My sentifment is from Absolutely Fabulous (retired) . I used some Designer Hardware a Very Vanilla Gromet # 114348. I used my Mat Pack #105826 to attach it and theaded some RR Ribbon thru it. Easy Peasy. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day. I'm a little stressed out right now I'm trying to get ready for a Craft Auction. This is my first and I'm trying to cover all my bases. The problem is I don't know what bases to cover. If you have any tips out there they sure would be appreciated. If I don't happen to post on some days. Don't worry I'm working hard on this Auction. By the way you're invitied- it is on May 18th at 6:00pm. at the Elks Lodge on St. Peters/Howell Rd. Would love to see you there for all the fun. Toodles

Elements of Style – Summer Mini
Good Morning All My Stamping Friends – Welcome to the Week end. The stamp set I used today is going to be one of the great ones. It's from the upcoming Summer Mini called Elements of Style #120045. It just speaks to that vintage style of card making. My cardbase is Rose Red #102544, matted with a piece of WW #100730 and matted a third time with Old Olive #100702. My next layer is Rose Red and WW. I stamped my image on watercolor paper #105019 with Black Stazon Ink #101406 and watercolored with an aqua painter #103954 with Pretty In Pink, Old Olive, and Rose Red reinkers. (just put a drop of ink on the top of your lid). I also added a dab of Summer Sun for my flower centers. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370 in black ink on a 7/8" strip of WW. The button is from Playground Designer Buttons #116313. I used some of the lucious Whisper White Satin Ribbon #114616 and Viola' you have a pretty pretty card.
The end of the month is drawing near and we will have to say goodbye to our Occasion Mini. It has some great products in it, so be sure and browse thru once more to make sure you have everything you like. Place your orders early becasue things will start hoppin' in the warehouse at the end of the month. Check the Clearance Rack as well, there are new Digial Downloads (mostly from the Occasion Mini) that you don't want to miss and be sure to check your stash for those retiring colors, paper, inkers, matching designer papers. OMG it frazzles the brain. LOL
On Monday I will show you a better comparison of the the colors that will be coming in July at the release of the new catty. I think you are really going to like them. Thanks for stopping by this Saturday Morning. Have a wonderful and safe week end. See ya back on Monday. Toodles

King of the Grill – Summer Mini
Happy Friday To All My Stamping Friends – Today I have a sneek peek for you. I've been holding him back for a few days and boy it's been hard to keep from sharing it. It's like keeping secrets, I have a hard time doing that too. It's more fun sharing. Today's stamp set is from the upcoming Summer Mini and his name is King of the Grill #120266. Click on picture to enlarge. As you all know manly man cards are a little scarce around here. Not because I don't like them, it's I don't have as many available stamps for them. I'm sure you understand, but when I saw this one I just had to have it. OMG too cute!!!!!!! I love to color, but for those of you that don't have the time there are some shortcuts that I can show you at another time. Now the card is Soft Suede, matted with WW and Sweet Pea DP. Matted again with So Saffron, Soft Suede and WW. My image was stamped with Black Stazon and colored with Prisma Color Pencils and Gamsol. The sentiment is a 7/8" strip of WW and I used the Corner Ticket Punch and added some black nail heads for pizazzzzzzzzz. TIP: With dark cardstock I always like to add a piece of WW on the inside of my card and decorate it a little bit. for easy reading.
Recipe:
- Cardbase is Soft Suede #115318, WW #100730, Sweet Pea DP #117161, So Saffron #105118.
- Stamp Set – King of the Hill #120066 (Summer Mini)
- Ink – Black Stazon and Primsa Color Pencils and Gamsol, Bashful Blue #105120
- Accessories – Scallop Circle Punch #109043, Ticket Corner Punch #107214, Nail Heads (Non SU), Dimensionals #104430, Sponges
Now I know you're going to ask about the sky and clouds. I punched two Scallop Circles with my Scallop Circle Punch. Overlaped them just a tad and them sponge around them. Don't go wide you need to be gentle. You can always add but you can't take away. LOL

Flight of the Butterfly
Hello All My Stamping Friends – Happy Thursday. OMG Stampin' Up sends us a monthly magazine with the lastest business news and new card ideas. This month they sent us a sample of all five new colors that are going to be in the new Catalog in July. The colors are just beautiful – Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Early Expresso, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist. You are going to love them!!!!!!!!! Click here to enlarge. I hope to take some time to play with the new colors. We only got one sheet so I need to be sure of what I want to do with them. Now for today's card. I have a nice crisp, clean one for you. I have used Soft Suede #115318, matted with Whisper White #100730. Then I cut up four different designer papers at 1 3/4" square # and matted them on top of my WW.
I used our Scallop Circle #2 Die #113469 with the Big Shot #113439 and cut my scallop. Then used the Circle Scissors Plus #112530 to cut my 3" circle to matt with my Soft Suede Scallop. Whew are you tired yet!!!!!!! LOL The stamp set I used is Flight of the Butterfly #111564. For my sentiment I used a stamp from the Level 3 Hostess set Kind and Caring Thoughts. I used some Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon, but you could use any of the designer paper colors to match. Thanks for stopping by today. I have so much to do I don't know where to start. I'm sure you have been there and done that. Take care. Toodles

Pretty Background With Circle Circus
Hello Stamping Friends – Welcome to Wednesday. I believe they call this day Hump Day. We're half way to the week end. Yippie!!!!!!!! Today I have a clean and simple card. It's just one layer, can you believe that. Those of you that have seen a lot of my work know I like detail. It must come from my tole painting days and quilting days. Clean and simple cards are a challenge for me. But as soon as I saw the stamp set Circle Circus I knew that it would make beautiful background paper. So today I would like to share a version of Circle Circus #115778. You all know too that man cards are a challenge for me I'm just a little bit girly you might say. I think this card fits the bill. It's a very generic card and can be used for men and children alike. I chose the sentiment Happy Brithday from Well Scripted #118601 because you all tend to make more birthday cards than others. My color combo is honoring the In-Colors. I used Rich Razzleberry #115316, Dusty Durango #115321, Crushed Curry #115319 and Bermuda Bay #115317. I made a random pattern of circles using both the larger and smaller stamps to give it some depth. I used the 1 3/4" circle punch #112004 to punch my sentiment. White was the perfect choice but didn't stand out against all the while background, so I punched the large oval punch #112082 in Rich Razzleberry and put it on dimensionals so it could pop just a little. For some added flair I used two silver brads #104336. Thanks for stopping by today and chatting with me. I'm working on my scrapbook pages for this month's stamp club. Time is ticking for me. Have a wonderful day. Toodles

MOJO134 – Flight of the Butterfly
Hello My Stampin' Buddies – Good Morning To Ya. Today I'm sharing this weeks MOJO134 sketch card. I'm still using my packet of Sweet Pea Designer Paper #117161. I'll be sad to see it retire in a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to another one just like it (I hope). My cardbase is Dusty Durango #115321, matted with a piece of Very Vanilla #101650. The sketch calls for a smaller matt of Dusty Durango and a piece of Sweet Pea DP paper. On top of that is a 1" piece of Taken With Teal #101584 (retiring). I wrapped a piece of Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon #117291 around both Teal pieces. My focal point is my sentiment from the stamp set Herb Expressions #113224 matted on Very Vanilla and Taken With Teal. I used a little bling to jazz it up. The butterfly fluttering on the top is stamp set Flight of the Butterfly #111564. It is another Two Step Stampin' set. I punched the butterfly out with the Butterfly Punch #116629. Check your tools this is a fairly new punch and I sure would rather punch my image out than have to cut it. Wouldn't you. Easy Peasy that's what we like!!!!!!!!!
IT'S NOT TOO LATE!!!!!!!!! You have a little over two weeks to have your workshop of $350 and recieve your Awash With Flowers Stamp Set FREE. This set is as cute as can be for all your Spring and Summer stamping. There is just one thing – now I know what your thinking- not a bad thing but I do suggest that a Stamp A Ma Jig #101049 will be mighty helpful especially if you like it perfect. You still have time to order a Sweet Pea package #117161. It is on backorder so you'll have to wait a bit for it but come the end of April it will be retired. My second layer is PIP and WW. I used the Scallop Trim Border Punch and added a little bling for sparkle. This punch will return to the new catty come July. The Stamp set is Sweet Heart #120415. I've had it a little while and decided to give it a little love. It's not just for Valentine's Day. I used OO and PIP inks for my image and I also used the Full Heart Punch #113693. For some pizazzzzzzzzz I used the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder #117335 on my punched out heart. Added some OO Ribbon. For my sentiment I used the 1 3/8 and 1 1/4" circle punches # 104401/104403. They are the work horses in you group of punches.
