Happy Wednesday To All My Craftin' Friends – Today I'm sharing one of this months scrapbooking pages.  We do 12 x 12 layouts.  The picture isn't the best but here it is.  The color combo is Bermada Bay, matted with Whisper White,  I stamped my own background (Love it) with the set With All My Heart (118623) in Bermuda Bay, and Gable Green inks.  I incorporated several of our punches and Big Shot Dies.  I used the Clear bigz Scallop Die (115950)  This die is not only for paper we are using it big time to cut fabric and make our Big Shot (113439) totes and rag purses.  It's not just for paper anymore!!!!!!!  LOL  I used the Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch in the Occasions Mini (118073), our Circle punches 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 and the new Scallop Trim Corner Punch (118870).  For a little pizazzzzzzzz I used the Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon (115610).  Thanks for stopping my today.  I need to run and start setting up for our workshop  tonight.  If you have any questions please contact me.  The theme today is workshops.  Workshops are the core of our business and I need your help, it not only lets us have fun but lets us get want we want.  Look over those wish lists and give me a call.  Sale A Bration is our time of year.  Yippie!!!!!!   Have a wonderful day.  Toodles  P.S.  DON'T FORGET SOME LUCKY PERSON IS GOING TO GET THE BIG SHOT TOTE PICTURED ABOVE AT THE END OF SALE A BRATION.  IS THAT PERSON YOU!!!!!!

Hello Friends – Happy Tuesday.  Just want to thank all of you for your encouraging words and lovely comments about my blog.  Michelle from Laycock Designs did a beautilful job on the banner design.  It's amazing how she was able to design something so me but we have never met.  True talent.   Today I'm going to try and keep this short.  Have a lot of loose ends, that need tending too.  No, I didn't get to work on my tote, my granddaughters called and wanted to go to the show and see Valentine's Day.  Of course Nana couldn't refuse.  The show was very cute.  I memtioned the other day that I am having a Prisma Color workshop and today's card is a sneek peek of some of what we will be doing.  Many of you have requested more masculine cards (no easy task for me) but I think this card will qualify.  The stamp set is the presents from the SAB Happy Moments and the Sentifment is from Vintage Labels. Welcome to Monday – Hello Friends.  Hope everyone is safe and cozy this morning.  The snow was coming down pretty hard late yesterday afternoon.  I'm not sure how much we got but it was enough for me.  Today's card is the 411 Sketch Challenge from Gretchon.  I used Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Whisper White with an ancient of Old Olive Ribbon.  I like the color combo, it's bright and cheerie.  Supply List below.  Stamp Set is Eastern Influences (111628).  I colored my image with Primsa Color Pencils and Gamosol.  TIP:  The best stumps to use are from Taiwan.  They do a great job of blending.  I used a combo of pinks and greens.  The sentiment is from Best Yet (Retired).  I love to use the saying Just Because.  It sounds so friendly to me.  I started making a new Big Shot Tote today, had it all together and then took it all apart again.  Decided to do it a different way.  So that's my task for today, putting my tote back together again.  Just like Humpty Dumpty.  LOL  It was just that kind of a day.  It seemed everything just wasn't working right.  I'm sure you have those kind of days too.  Don't you?  Thanks or stopping by and I'll see you back here tomorrow.  Stamp club is this week and I need to cut up some paper.  Toodles

Hello Friends – Happy Valentine's Day —  I hope you have a great and relaxing day ahead of you  I am hoping to get started on some Easter Cards, I only have one Easter stamp set so I'm going to have to put my thinking cap on.  Easter is always been a great time at the Murphy house.  Big dinner, then the Easter Egg Hunt.   I used to love dressing the girls in their Easter Bonnets.  They don't let me do that anymore.  Oh well, that's what scrapbooking is for right.  MEMORIES!!!!!  Today I'm sharing one last card idea for you, you need to get to hopping if you don't have yours done yet.  LOL    Once again I (Heart) Hearts (118571).  It's a 4.25" square card on Very Vanilla, matted with Old Olive and Real Red DP (Retired).  Second layer is Real Red matted with another retired paper.  I used the Full Heart Punch (113693) and the Real Red heart is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder (117335).  My sentifment is from Family Phrases (111016) punched with the 3/4" and 1" punch.  I added Old Olive Ribbon to give it a little pop.  Thanks for all of your support and sharing a little bit of your day with me.  We are expecting some snow today (or that is what they tell us) so be safe out there.

Oh, I forgot to mention I'm having a technique class soon with Prisma Colored Pencils.  We'll make a few cards, but the intent is to color up some images and practice our blending skills.  Have not set a date yet, but it will be soon, so if you're in the vincinity and would like to join us, drop me an email and let me know.  Class fee will be around $12.  Come join the fun, we would love to have you.  I'll have a sneek peek for you later.

 Here is my story of how I became a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.  I will celebrate my 5th anniversary in April as being a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.

I became a demonstration about a month after my mother passed away with Dementia.  I had been taking care of her in my home for about 2 years and I must admit it was very challenging at times.  Then one day she collapsed and we had to let her go.  I needed to fill a void and I had been to several workshops already and really enjoyed cardmaking and sharing it with others.  So in April of 2005 I became a demonstrator and I have enjoyed it immensely ever since.  I had no long terms goals, I just wanted to be a Hobby Demo and do just enough to feed my habit and stay active.

I had my first Open House and invited all my neighbors, friends and family.  They had never stamped before but was very gracious and came to see what it was all about.  A small group of neighbors decided to give it a try and a monthly workshop was born.  A year passes and the group decided they wanted a little more and formed a Stamp Club.  This is where a group of ladies share being a hostess each month and receives all the benefits that hosting a workshop brings.  Well to say the least it is in my blood now so I decided to take it up a notch and start my very own blog.  I now get to share what I love with many people over the internet and make many more friends.

Hello Friends – Happy Friday–  Isn't this just the cutest card.  I love the bright spring colors.  This card was  cased from MeMyStampsandI.  Chat does lovely work.  I didn't have all the components that I needed so I made do with what I did have.  The stamp set is Happy Moments (118664) from the SAB Mini.  Stampin' Up did a great job this year, don't you think so?  The supply list is below.  I stamped my image with Jet Black Stazon and used my markers to color the image.  I made my own pocket, just cut a square and trimed off the bottom.  TIP  Before you trim be sure and put your piece of Designer Paper on your base.  Saves some time and headaches.  I used the Scallop Trim Corner and Border punches.  With a $50 purchase you can get the Scallop Trim Border Punch for FREE.  You sure can't bet that.  Today I need to hunker down and do some design work.  Stamp club is next week and I still need one more Scrapbooking page.  Time to put on my thinkin' hat.  Do you have any special plans for your sweetie on Valentine's Day.  The resturants are always so crowded, so we stay away from them.  Saturday night will probably be a biggie too.  Thanks for stopping by today, I'll have one more Valentine's Day card to share on Saturday.   Toodles

• 1st Layer is Pumpkin Pie (105117) 4 x 5.25 with a piece of Pumpkin Pie DP (112159)
• 2nd Layer is Basic Black cut at 3.5 x 4.5 and punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch (118402), matted on a 2 7/8 x 4 3/8 piece of Apricot Appeal, next matt is Whisper White cut at 2.75 x 4.25.  I used the Scallop Trim Corner Punch (118870)
• Stamp Set is Happy Moments (118664) stamped with Black Stazon and colored with Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery and Apricot Appeal markers.  My pocket is a 1.5" square trimmed at the bottom and matted with a piece of Pumpkin Pie DP.  Last but not least I used Black Gingham Ribbon (104832).  If you have any questions let me know.

Good Morning Friends – Today I have a card for you that I hope will put a spring in your step.  I am anxiously awaiting spring so with Valentine's Day almost behind us, I'm moving on to spring.  My card today is Choc Chip, Old Olive, So Saffron and Whisper White.  I love making my own backgrounds, so I used a sheet from the Designer Series Paper Pack from the SAB Mini and added my own touch.  The stamp set is called Season of Friendship (111776).  It has a stamp for every season so you can use it year round.  For some extra interest I used the small corner rounder on the botton edges and carried that theme throughout the card.  The tree itself is stamped with Chocolate Chip and the leaves are Old Olive.  I used the stamp off method.  This is when you ink your stamp very well with ink, stamp once then stamp again.  This technique gives you the illusion of depth on your piece and we always need depth and texture on our cards.  The birthday sentiment is from Well Scriped (118601) in the Occasions Mini.  I love the fonts on the new words sets, they just make me smile.  I'm lovin the clear mount stamp sets. They let you geti it right the first time.  Love it!!!

2. 1st Layer is Old Olive cut at 4 x 5.25, Designer Paper from the SAB Mini is 3.75 x 5 Corners were rounded using the Small Corner Rounder (109047)
3. 2nd Layer is Choc Chip cut at 3.25 x 3.5, Old Olive cut at 3 1/8 x 3.25, Whisper White cut at 2 7/8 x 3".  Again cut corners with the corner rounder.  TIP:  I stamped the full image on a pience of WW, stamped my leaves and then cut it down to the size I need.  So you are not seeing the whole image.  Sentiment is Well Scripted (118601), I wrapped a piece of So Saffron Ribbon around my first layer.  The Background was stamped randomly using the small flower and leaf stamp.  I used More Mustard and Old Olive inks.

Hello Friends –  Have you had your coffee yet?  I'm sitting here this morning with coffee in hand and talking to you.  We had some snow last night, but I don't think it will slow us down too much today.  I think I'm going to try and sew on my Rag Purse and of course do a litle stampin'.  We're running out of time for Valentine's Day, There are only five days remaining and then we move on to Easter.  Oh, Sping what a lovely thought.  Today I have a 4.25 square card tp share.  You might recognize the DP, it's retired.  I have a heaping stack of retired paper.  I keep giving it to the girls to use for scrapbooking, but I don't seem to be making any head way with it.  LOL  Maybe the next time I have some blog candy for you I'll include some retired DP.  Would you like that?  Oh well, back to the card.  I used our new stamp set from the Occasions Mini I (Heart) Hearts (118571)  Some of the images in this set coordinate nicely with the Full Heart Punch (113693) I have the supply list below.  Thanks for stopping by today.  I'll have a few more Valentin'es Day projects to post for you.  Be safe out there.  See ya tomorrow.    Ta Ta For Now (TTFN)
