Serene Snowflakes Scrapbook Page

Good Morning To You All.  Today I am sharing one of our scrapbook pages for this months stamp club.  As I’ve said before I love making my own background paper.  Today I am featuring Serene Snowflakes Stamp Set 115438.  It is in the Holiday Mini and is a beautiful set of snowflakes.  The colors that I used are Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, Orchid Opulence, and Ballet Blue.  You’ll have to remember to make a card with these colors.  They are absolutely striking.  It’s a pretty simple layout.  I did use the Eyelet Border Punch for some pizzzzzzzaz and the Snowflake Punch as one of my focal points.  I’m sorry I can’t sit and chat with you more today but I  have to run and do some cleaning and preparation for my Christmas Card Stamp a Stack.  Friday night will be here before I know it.  Be sure and take a second look and the Deal of the Week 2.  It will be winding down on Sunday.

I still have some card kits (X-max and Kit of the Month) available so take a peek at those too.  No better time to take adavanage of the workshop specials $250/$400. Check out previous post for all the deets.  Starter Kit still available.  Great way to pick up some products, receive discounts and it includes My Digital Studio all for $185.  Great Value!!!!!!!!!!!   Thanks for stopping by.  Ta Ta For Now

Crazy For Cupcakes Birthday Card

Good Morning Stampers.  Welcome back, it is so nice to have you here this morning.  It has been raining most of the night so I’m guessing that our last two Crazy For Cupcakessoftball games might not get played this week.  Big tournament this week end, so I hope the weather decides to cooporate with us.  My oldest granddaughter just turned 13 in Sept and she had a bowling party.  It was very nice, but now it is Kayleigh’s turn.  She is turning 11 and still wants Nana (me) to help her make her B/D invitations. (Say a little prayer for Nana because she is going thru the  I’m a big girl now and don’t need as much help from Nana symdrome).  LOL I’m sure their are a few of you out there that have experienced this already.  I’ve decided to enjoy this year while we can.  So this is Kayleigh’s birthday card.   I have found Pocket Cards are very easy to make and easy to change.  Kayleigh has changed her mind several times now on what kind of party she is having, so her card is not finished yet.  I’m keeping the insert blank a little longer until time runs out.  LOL.  My cardbase is Lavender Lace.  Its 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2.  The flap is matted with a retired designer paper (she’s a pink and purple kind of girl).  Stamp set is Crazy for Cupcakes #111618 on pg 68 of your catty.  I used my Oval nesties and colored in my images with markers (Creamy Carmel and Pretty In Pink).  For my stickles on my icing I just added some polka dots and colored the cherry with my Red Marker)  I did put some Crystal Effects of the cherries to make it pop a little bit. I used two white brads to close up  my card.  Everyone seems to like this design, It’s easy, quick and striking.  That’s what we want yes.  Thanks for stopping in today, I hope you enjoy the card.  If you get a chance check out yesterday’s post.  Stampin’ Up has some really great promo’s out their that will save you money.  Take care.  Ta Ta For Now

Christmas Tag Holder Box

Good Morning To All –  Well, we got thru Monday that’s a good thing.  I worked very hard yesterday on Christmas Tags.  WOW  they take a long time to organize.  I think I had Christmas Tag Holder Boxevery Christmas color out and then some.  What a mess.  I think I got about 30 done.  Making tags is a project that you have to think ahead on.  But any hoo,  what am I going to do with these tags you say.  Friday night is our big Christmas Stamp a Stack and I always like to have some nice give aways.  I’m always browsing thru our catty for ideas and inspiration (it’s a very good source for this) and low and behold on page 14 of our catty there is a picture of a tag box and some pretty tags.  So today I’m showing you my version of a Christmas Tag Box.  It’s so cute, I just love it.  Of course, being a big Real Red fan the box had to be red.  I used a piece of acetate for the lid top and tied a big green ribbon around it.  It is filled with lots of tags to put on packages to make them extra special and pretty.  Who doesn’t love a pretty package.  I have a confession.  Tutorials intimidate me a little bit.  But I promise I’m working on it.  This project I must admit would be a good starting point.  Give me a little time and I see what I can do.  For my tags I used stamps that I had for the last couple years, but on page 14 of your catty the set called Christmas Punch is a very good place to start.  This set is a Level 2 Hostess Set.  To receive it Free you need to have a $300 workshop.  Also don’t forget the Holiday Mini Set Delightful Decorations on pg 7 with the coordinating punch.  Love those punches makes projects easy and perfect.  With this months promotion with a $250 workshop you can select one of these items for only $10.  You can’t bet that.  Now I can see your face turn from a smile to a frown but it is not that hard to do.  Invite some friends and family over for some coffee and cake,  decided on what supplies you will need. (paper, stamps, inks, etc) and whammy youv’e got yourself a workshop and in 5-7 days you can start making these cute little tags for all your gifts this year.    Great little secret santa gifts for teachers and co-workers.  You can even turn your box in to a candy box.  It would look cute as well with Hershey’s Nuggets.  Well I’m off to make my gifts for Friday night.  Have a super duper day.  Thanks for stopping by.  Ta Ta For Now (TTFN)

SPECIAL  REQUEST –  As most of you have already figured out by now that I am trying to gain your loyality and trust so I can build my client base of Stampin’ Up shoppers.  I would appreciate it if you would drop me a note (email) and let me know how I’m doing and if there is anything I can do (projects, specal promotions, card kits, discounts, etc) that would make you comfortable shopping with me.   I truly appreciate your support and I hope your are enjoying my style and my new site.  It’s such fun bringing it to you.

Medallion in Soft Suede

It’s Monday Again Stampers, another week-end bites the dust.  Hope mother earth was kind to you.  We had half way weather, Sunday was a beautiful day and I was able to Medallionget the rest of my garden ornaments into the barn.  Boy our fall so far as been goofy.  We are supposed to have temps in the 70’s and we have been luckly to get lower 50’s.  I hope this doesn’t mean rough winter days ahead.  Has any one heard any predictions out there?  The girls have to ball games remaining this Wed and Thru.  Never a dull moment. In the next few days I will have a B/D card to share with you.  My Kayleigh is turning 11 in Nov.  My, My, where does the time go.  Now on to sharing my card with you.  I chose the Medallion backgroud stamp #115223 today.  Why you say.  Well it is fun, easy and makes a great statement.  At convention it was the #1 selling stamp set for SU.  That’s a tall order and I think that is has been displayed in everyway possible, so I look to color to set my card apart from the others.  Soft Suede, Sahara Sand and Whisper White are my choices of the day.  I’m not an artist but I believe this would qualify as a monochromatic color scheme.  On my matted piece (Sahara Sand) I used a jumbo roller inked in Soft Suede.  I could not find it in the catty, so it must be retired.  I has swirls and a few small flower on it but you could use anything with swirls.  The medallion was inked in Soft Suede and stamped off just a little.  I used the Scallop Circle Punch in Sahara Sand and punched out the middle of the medallion for the center of my scallop.  Whew!!  Hope you caught all that. I then used a large gromet and my Crop-A-Dile #108362.  A wonderful tool for punching thru chip board and setting eyelets.  If you don’t have one be sure and check it out.  It is very easy on your hands.  You don’t want that dreeded ole corpal tunnel.  Nasty stuff take if from me.  Ribbon is Soft Suede Polka Dot turned over and the sentiment is from Kind and Caring Thoughts.  I know it is hard to get but it has some great verses in it.  I would suggest you think seriously about having a workshop.  With all the special promo’s that Stampin’ Up is having this month. (Deal of the Week, My Digital Studio, Holiday Mini Item for only $10. Clearance Rack, Starter Kit) is just another way to increase your workshops.  Give your friends and family a call for a girls night out.  I guarantee a little laughter, a lot of fun and everyone will have some ideas and cards to take home.  Drop me an email and set up you workshop today.  Thanks for stopping by, have a super duper day.  Ta Ta For Now (TTFN)
