Good Morning.  Was your week-end a good one.  We had a few things to do but was mostly quite.  For todays card I chose Eastern Influencs (#111628).  I have had this one for a while but never took it of the shelf.  So it’s getting a little love today.

For the Deets:  CS:  For you purple lovers (you know who you are) I used Almost Amethyst (#102158) and Elegant Eggplant (#105126).  Dotted it with a Cuddlebug Embossing Folder and used some striped designer paper from Tea Party (#113992).  I used the Large Oval Punch (#107305) and the Scallop Punch (#114889).  The for you sentiment was from the Great Friend.  Ribbon is Elegant Eggplant.  Now for the circle and scallops I used my nesties but SU does have the Scallop Circle Punch (#109043) – a must have –  and for Big Shot Users check out the bigz dies.  There are several scallop circles to choose from.  I hope you enjoyed the card today.  Drop me an e-mail, I would love to answer any of your questions that I can and get your feedback on what you would like to see .  TFL see you tommorrow.  P.S  For new customers I am offering a 10% discount on your first order.  You can contact me directly or order on-line at my SU website www.sandymurphy.stampinup.net and click on the shop now button.  See Ya 

Happy Saturday to all.  Hope your weather is as good as mine today.  I’m in the midwest and the temps are going to be in the low 80s.  Very nice for mid July  I’m so excited.  This is the first time I have scanned a picture and I scanned it right to my memory card as a jpg.file. WOW  I don’t know about you but I have  a terrible time getting a good picture some times.  How do you process you pictures for posting.  I’m all ears, but I must say this worked very nicely.  Todays card is from the SU stamp set Flight of the Butterly (#111564).  My CS is Crushed Curry, Whisper White and Bermuda Bay.  DP is from Throughly Modern (#115673).  I used the new SU Butterfly Punch (#116629),  it’s a WOW, two white brads and a little pinch of crushed curry polka dot ribbon.  You might be wondering how I got that rectangle scallop square.  Well, you might have already been introduced to this but you can create any size scallop square using our Ribbon Punch (#112091).  I first saw this idea on Julies’s blog Paper Pleasing Ideas.  It’s not hard, but does take a steady hand and some practice.  Oh, I forgot to mention that on the card base I used SUs new  Elegent Bouquet Dry Embossing Folder (#115964).  I did need to give it a little punch so you could see it better so I used the white gel pen for the flower centers and that did the trick.  I hope this card gets your mojo going and please remember you can order on-line at my su website www.sandymurphy.stampinup.net or e-mail me above for any of these great supplies 24/7.  that’s all I can think of right now so I’ll say so long and have a great Sat.  I’m going outside to spread mulch.  Yahoo!!!!

Good Morning.   for todays card I used the new SU set called Circle Circus (#115778) and Best Wishes and More (#111602).  I love making my own backgrounds and this is a perfect set for doing just that.  I used the new In-Colors CS- Bermuda Bay and Whisper White.  I stamped the circles in a wallpaper pattern.  Inks used were Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Rich Razzleberry.  The inks can be found on page 155 of the new Idea Book & Catalog.  (If you haven’t received a new catty yet please drop me an e-mail.  Go to the About Me Box in the top right hand corner above and I’ll send one right out to you.)  Cost for the catty is $10.00.  If you place a $50 order on-line with me through my SU website www.sandymurphy.stampinup.net you will receive a new catty for free.  To browse thru the catty check out the top of my page and the link will take you right there.  Now back to the card.  Ribbon is the new polka dot (isn’t it just beautiful) Bermuda Bay (#115610).  I used several SU punches – Scallop, 1 3/8" circle, 1 1/4" circle and the three flower punch.  All of these can be found on page 186-187 in the new catty.  Hope you enjoy the card and that I didn’t blabber too much.  I’m new at this but I’ll get the hang of it.  Take care, TFL and see ya soon.  Sandy

LOL Base card is whisper white layered with temp. turq. and another layer of whp white.  I enjoy making my own backgrounds.  Colors used where temp turq, apr appeal, cert celery.  I used markers to ink the hats and the large oval punch (#107305) and the new oval scallop punch (#112091).  Enjoy your day and TFL.  See you tomorrow
