Hello Folks. . .  HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY.  Today I have one final card to share with you using Stampin' Up Greeting Card Kids.  My colors are Island Indigo and the new Twitterpated Designer Paper.  I have colored my image with Prisma Color Pencils and Gamosol.  The card is a large one 5.25 square.  My sentiment come from a retired set Well Scripted. 

I'm sorry to be in such a hurry today.  I have several appointments starting early this morning and the weather here is a little shakey.

Hello Folks – -    Happy Monday To Ya.  Welll, I guess we are getting ready for our biggest snow storm of the year so far.  We are settling in for a yucky day and right before Valentine's Day too.

Today I have a rather large card to share with you.  I don't normally do this large of a card but here lately I have done several.  It is a 5.25" square and I have trimmed off approx. an inch and a half off the bottom.  My card base is Whisper White (100730).  I topped it with some Concord Crush (119792).  I'll be sorry to see this color retire in just a few months.  I cut a strip of Everyday Enchantment (FREE with SAB) and attached it to the top bottom of my card.  I have used a whale of a bunch of cool tool punches.  The base of the flower is a piece of Daffodil Delight Designer Series Paper.  I used our Fun Flower Die Cut (#121812) for the largest petal, next I stamped the flower from our Mixed Bunch Stamp Set (W125535/C125537) from the Occasions Mini and used the coordinating punch Blossom (125603), I used Peach Parfait ink.  For the center portion I used our Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch #122464.  This is such a versitile punch.  You can punch three different styles of flowers.  What bang for your buck.  For the flower center I used one of our buttons and added some Calypso Coral Bakers Twine (125573). 

My sentiment comes from a stamp set called Curly Cute (W117014/C120510).  I made my piece look like a flag by using a Square Punch on one end.  The inside is decorated as well.  My Happy Birthday is from our Hostess Set called Happiest Birthday Wishes (W122615/C122617),  I also jazzed it up by stamping more images from the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set.  This is a larger card and it will require more postage.  It does fit in our Medium Square Envelope (107289) nicely.

I loved this weeks MOJO Sketch so I made another card to share.  I used one of the new cool tools in the Occasions Mini.  If you love to make lollies a.k.a accordian flowers, Stampin' Up has made it easy for you with the cool tool called Designer Rosette (125594).  You can make it as small or large as you like.  Up to 10" wide.  Scrapbookers this will look great in your layouts. 

My colors are Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Pool Party and Everday Enchantment DP.  I used our 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch and a 1 1/2" circle punch.  The sentiment is retired.  Added some pretties, our 3/8" Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon and a couple of Black Nail Heads.

Hello Again. . .  boy it seems like I was just here.  Where did Tuesday go.  LOL

Before I get started on my card for today I want to announce that Stampin' Up is going to shake it up a little bit for the upcoming new year.  Instead of a July release of the new catalog Stampin' Up is going to start the new year on June 1st.  Yippie  Important:  The current Idea Book and Catalog will expire on May 31st.  Information regarding the Retired List will be announed at a later date.  Also they are chaning the way that minis will be released.  Instead of three minis a year there will only be two (2) minis.. .  the Holiday  and Spring Mini's.  They are going to last longer (5 months vs. 4) and will give us more time to plan for the Halloween and Christmas holidays.  This is exciting news and I will pass along more info as I get it. 

Today I have my version of this weeks MOJO Sketch.  I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.  My base is Very Vanilla cardstock matted with a piece of Soft Suede and matted again with a beautiful piece of designer paper from the Sale A Bration Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper Pack (126154).  The colors in this piece are Pear Pizzazz and Pool Party.  So soft don't you think.  The next two pieces are pretty self explanitory, Pear Pizzazz cardstock topped with a small piece of dp from Everyday Enchantment. 

Now on to the fun part.  My focal point is a piece of Very Vanilla that has been embossed with one of our new embossing folders.  It's a set of two called Designer Frames (123130).  You can find them on pg 218 of your catty.  My stamp set is one of the sets you can find in our Sale A Bration Min i and is FREE with a $50 purchase.  It just so happens to be one of the preselected sets from this years catty.  Kindness Matters (W122900/C122902).  I decided to jazz it up a bit by using our Dazzling Details Glitter Glue (124117).  It comes from our Holiday Mini but is one of our carry over products, so it is available to purchase . 

My ribbon is a piece of Lucky Limeade our 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon (122977).  I also added some pretties with our Basic Pearls (119247).   I hope I have inspired you to make your own MOJO Monday card.

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Tuesday. . .  Today I have something a little different to share with you.  It is not SU related.  I came across this stamp set a couple of weeks ago while out shopping and I couldn't resist it.  I needed a little practice time with my color pencils and this stamp fit the bill.  Isn't it cute.  The stamp set is called GirlFriends "In The Tub".  I used lots of colors on this one and unfortunately I didn't right them down.  But I trust you will enjoy it just the same.

I hope this inspires you to get your pencils out and dust them off.  Takes me back to my child hood, I was always excited to go to the corner drugstore and get a new coloring book and crayons.  Boy, to enjoy the little things in life again.

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Monday.  I just can't get enough of our new stamp set from the Occasions Mini called Mixed Bunch (W125535/C125537) and even better yet the matching punch Blossom (125603). 

I have a cute birthday card to share with you today.  My base is a piece of Very Vanilla (101650), matted with a piece of Pretty In Pink (100459).  I'm so looking forward to spring and this card brings me a step closer, don't you think.  Next up I used another piece of Very Vanilla but this time I used a new product called Edgelits (125595) and embossed it with the matching embossing folder called Adorning Accents (125601).  For a little depth I sponged the edge with Pool Party.  My next layer is a piece of Pool Party Designer Paper from the new In Color Patterns Designer Series Paper Pack found on pg 176 of your catty. 

My focal point is the floral from Mixed Bunch.  I stamped it in Basic Black Ink and used my Pink Pirouette marker to color it in.  I used Pink Pirouette because it is a little lighter in color.  I thought Pretty In Pink might be too dark, but you use what you like best.  I punched it out and then punched another flower from the Blossom Punch in Pretty In Pink and nested the two.  Added a Pool Party Center for some contrast and blinged it up just a tad with a Basic Rhinestone (119246).  My stem came from the set Awash With Flowers and my birthday sentiment comes from A Word For You (W117032/C120528).  I only inked up the b/d part with my Basic Black marker.  I love the font.  I also used some of the new 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon in Pretty In Pink (124141).  Oh, I almost forgot I also used my sewing maching on this one.  I like doing that every once in a while.  I have to work on getting my sewing machine back in my craft room.  Space is an issue.

Hello Stampers. . .  Happy Saturday.  While browsing around the other day I came across this cute layout from Diana Gibbs.  Isn't it just the cutest.  The stamp set is Button Buddies (W122735/C122737) and it has a whole host of adorable images to choose from. 

I start out with Very Vanilla cardstock topped off with a piece from the Designer Series Paper Stack cut at 1.25 x 4".  I made it into a flag using my square punch.  Any size will do.

My focal point is a Very Vanilla rectangle and I used my favorite punch the Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402.  I thought this gave it just the right touch.  I was trying to achieve a toddler/baby look.  Next I stamped my sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes #155370 on Basic Black and Early Expresso with White Craft Ink #101731 and sprinkled White Embossing Powder #109132 then heated it with my Heat Tool #100005.  I added some pizzazz with a strip of Pretty In Pink Scallop Dots Ribbon #124141.  On the Early Expresso one I chose to add a Pretty In Pink button from the Subtles Collection #119745 and on the Basic Black on I added a paper flower with a Basic Rhinestone #119246 in the center.

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Thursday.  Valentine's Day is getting closer by the minute.  Today I have a cute treat box to share with you.  While browsing the other day I came across this cute litte acetate treat box and it caught my eye.  You can find the directions on Bette Johns Blog Fresh and Fun.  She always has such great ideas. 

My colors of course are Real Red #102482 and Pretty In Pink #100459.  The top and bottom pieces measure out to be 3 x 3 scored at 1/2 inch all around.  I used a piece of acetate for the middle.  My designer paper is from the Subtles Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack #117152. 

My stamp set is from Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370.  I used the Big Shot and our Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit Die #117332.  I also took a scrap of Whisper White and embossed it with our Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder #117335 and punched a heart with out Full Heart Punch #119883.  Added a dimensional and put it on the front of my box. My scallops were made with the Scallop Edge Border Punch #119882.   My ribbon is a piece of 5/8" Whisper White Satin Ribbon #114616. 

I filled this cute little treat box with Hershey's Kisses along with some white filler.  My plan is to give them to the girls on Valentine's Day.
