Hello Folks . . .  Happy Friday.  Stampin' Up Sale A Bration  Style.  Today I have a cute cute card using one of Stampin Up's Sale a Bration FREE stamp sets.  It's called Outlined Occasions (W126014/C126016).   It can be yours for FREE when you place a $50 order starting on Jan 24th and runs thru Mar 31st .

My cardbase is Confetti Cream (102835) cut at 5.5 x 4.25 and I have used one of our new Edgelits from the Occasions Mini, Adorning Accents (125595).  When placed on the edge of your cardstock you get this pretty decorative edge.  They are wafer thin and it comes in its very own plastic pocket for safe keeping.

I used markers from this years In Colors plus Poppy Parade to color in my image.  The balloons are from the stamp set Patterened Party (W123065/C123067) and can be found on pg 68 of your catty.   I used the Decorative Label Punch (120907) to make my  label and matted it with a piece of Island Indigo. 

On the inside I stamped an image from one of our Hostess Sets, Happiest Birthday Wishes (W122615/C122617).  You can purchase this stamp set with the Hostess Cash you earn when you host a workshop and there is no better time than now to have a workshop and earn even more FREE Stampin' Up products during Sale a Bration.  Contact me for more deets.

Hello Folks. . .  What difference a day makes.  It is cold, windy and snowing here in ole' MO.  We just had temps in the 60's.  Oh welll looks like a great stamping kind of day.

Sale a Bration is almost here and today I have a card to share with you using some great Stampin' Up products from the SAB Mini.  If you have been following me lately you have noticed that I have a lot of samples using the lovely Everyday Enchantment DP Series from the SAB Mini.  But today I decided to shake it up a bit. 

You know how I love to make my own dp paper and today is no different.  I used the coordinating stamp set call Fresh Vintage* and inked it with Poppy Parade and Pool Party.  These colors seem to be the flavor of the month in the SAB Mini.  My Whisper White is a normal background size 5.25 x 4.  I stamped my image in a diagonal pattern, trying to make it look like wallpaper.  For the focal point I stamped my image again and used my nesties for my circles but SU punches will work fine.  My sentiment is from Petite Pairs (122495/122497).  If you need sentiments with matching verses this set is for you.

The sketch is from this week MOJO sketch and it worked just perfectly for me.  My next layer is a strip 1.5 by 3 5/8.  I used my fav punch the Scallop Trim Border Punch (118402) and layered it with another strip cut at 1 x 3 5/8.  I used our Square Lattice EB Folder (119976) for some depth and texture.  My Poppy Parade layer is 2.5 x 2 1/8 and layered it with a piece of Poppy Parade from the Everyday Enchantment DP Series.  For the bottom I have a piece of Pool Party punched with our Decorative Label Punch (120907).

Hello folks. . . .  Happy Monday!  Today I have a card to share right out of the Occasion Mini.  You know that one of our best resources to get your MOJO in top gear is to dig into our Idea Book and Catalog and our Minis.  They are full of resources for color combos, design layouts and stamp set ideas.  Great source. 

My idea comes from the Occasions Mini on pg 17.  I just ajusted the size a bit and tweeked it a bit.  First thing I did was use one of our new Edgelits called Adorning Accents (125595) and matching Embossing Folder (125601) for the pretty bottom edge.  It makes my heart sing when I can add a little character to my artwork.   Love it!!!!! 

Next is the focal point.  Once again SU has given us the tools to make papercrafting fun and easy.  My Stamp Set is Mixed Bunch (125535/125537) and the matching cool tool Punch called Blossom (125603)  My first layer is the flower stamp inked in Melon Mambo and punched, next I punched another flower in Pool Party.  My leaves are from another great punch called the Bird Builder Punch (117191).  Many of you all ready know that our punches are universal and can be used in many many ways.  I stamped my center in Daffodil Delight and added a retired button from the Clearance Rack with some new Bakers Twine Lucky Limeade (125572).  (My Ribbon and Embellishment Share is still available check it out here)

For some balance I though my upper right hand corner needed a little something so I used a Retired Die Cut Bird Blossoms I think and added a stamped Hello from our Hostess Set Posy Punch (122482).  On dark cardstock I try to add a piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla on the inside of my card.  Its makes your note or message easier to read, don't you think.  When I make my cards they are normally Birthday Cards, but I sometimes wait to stamp the inside side so I have exactly what I need on hand.

My card today is pretty clean and simple.  It starts off with a So Saffron cardbase with a strip of Early Expresso cut at 1.5 x 5.5.  I used our Final Press Embossing Folder (115963) for some texture.  Next layer is a piece of Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper from the Sale a Bration Mini.  It is topped off with another piece of Early Expresso cut at 2 7/8 x 3 3/4 matted with a piece of Very Vanilla cut 1/8 inch smaller.  My Stamp Set is Fresh Vintage inked in Poppy Parade. 

I used some new cool tools as well from the Occasions Mini.  It is our new Edgelits Dies called Adorning Accents (125595).  You will receive two die cuts in your package for $9.95.  What a fun way to dress up you card with new shapes.  Always looking for that extra pizzazz aren't we.  LOL

Hello folks. . .  Happy Friday.  Seems we have made it thru another week.  Time is flying already.  Today I have a vintage style card to share with you using Stampin' Ups new stamp set called Rue Des Fleurs (125485/125487).  It is a fun set and you can find it in the Occasion Mini.

A lot of this years stamps in the Occasions Mini have that vintage feel to it.  My card is no different.  My colors are Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz.  These colors are right out of our new Designer Paper Pack Everyday Enchantment.  You can get this paper pack for FREE from the Sale a Bration Mini beginning on Jan 24th.  Isn't it just beautiful.  Yes sir ree. 

The layout is one that you have seen before.  Cardbase is Very Vanilla cut at 4.25 x 11 scored at 5.5.  Next is a Pool Party layer cut at 4 x 5 1/4.  I used our Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder (117335) for some depth.  Next is a strip of Peach Parfait at 2 1/8 by 5.5 matted with a piece of Everyday Enchantment 1/8" smaller all around. 

The Occasion Mini this year is introducing some very cool tools called Framelits.  OMG I'm so happy.  Today I worked with the Labels Collection (125598).  I used the second one in the set and stamped the sentiment from the Rue Des Fleurs Set (125485/125487).  Next I stamped the corset from the set, used inks and markers to color and cut them out with my nesties.  For a little pizzazz I added some of the larger pearls (125605) from the Occasions Mini  on pg 26.  I also added some of the new pleated ribbon Pear Pizzazz (125568).   Don't have to worry about getting your pleats even any more.  Yippie!!!!!

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Tuesday.  These holidays always leaves me guessing what day it is.  It's Tuesday right.  LOL 

Just a few reminders today.

Today I have a Valentine's Day card to share featuring some of the new Designer Speciality Paper in the Occasions Mini.  It's called Sweet Shop (125408)  and it coordinates with matching brads that are included in our embellishment share above. 

My stamp set is an alphabet set Occasions Alphabet (117090/123598) .  As card makers we don't get to use to many alphabet sets, but this one is just perfect for cardmaking.

There are a lot of cool tools on this.  (my moto:  you can never have too many tools).  My doily comes from the paper pack Flirtatious Speciality paper (123360) , topped with two scallop hearts in Basic Black.  I used our Embosslits Die Scalloped Heart of Hearts (117332).  My solid hearts are from the Full Heart Punch (119883),  Just love it when products coordinate for easy design.  My Whisper White heart is embossed with our Perfect Polka Dot EM Folder (117335).  If you are a frequent follower of mine you know how too much white space drives me insane.  LOL

For my pretties I tied a Basic Black Satin Ribbon (117285) around the first layer.  I stamped my sentiment and used some of our Whisper White Bakers Twine (124262) and attached it using one of our saftey pins from our Vintage Trinkets (118764).  So easy.  For some sparkle and pizzazz I also added some Basic Rhinestones (119246).

Hello Friends . .  Happy Friday.  Well we have almost made it thru the year.  I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and may it bring you peace and joy.

Todays card is totally cased from Jan Tink at Stamps, Paper, Scissors.  It is such a beautiful card I could not resist.  The colors are Pool Party, More Mustard, and Shimmery White paper and Spice Cake DP.  I find it easier to watercolor on the shimmery paper because it is a little thicker and doesn't peel as easy.  The stamp set is the new Apothecary Art that will be available on Jan 4th from the Occasions Mini.  I hope you have received your mini's by now, if not please contact me and I will see what I can do. 

I also used a couple new cool tools from the mini.  The Paper Doily Die Cut and the new Framelits Die Cut from the Labels Collection.  Get ready to have your world rocked.  Layering is about to get real easy.  Love it !!!

Good Morning My Stampin' Friends. . .  Today I have a Valentine's Day card to share with you featuring some of Stampin' Ups cool tools.

ATTENTION:  Stampin' Up has announced that the Stocking Builder Punch in the Holiday Mini will NOT be carried over into next years catty.  If this is one of the punches on your To Get List, please note that you still have a few days left to place your order.  Quantities are limited, so I would not delay if I wanted this punch.

For my Valentine base I chose Cherry Cobbler (119685), matted with Basic Black (121045) and topped it off with Whisper White (100730).  I used our Perfect Polka Dot EF (117335)  for a little pizzazz.  Next I punched a Cherry Cobbler strip with our Lace Ribbon Border Punch (122362) and adhered it with glue dots.

My focal point has a lot of layers.  First I cut a rectangle 3 x 3.5 in Basic Black, then matted with a piece of new designer paper called Twitterpated* (125406) which will be available Jan 4th.  Next I used one of our lacy die cuts from the Flirtatious Designer Paper Stack (122360).  I also cut a 2.5" circle and mounted it behind the die cut.  This grounded the lacy circle so you could see it a little better.  Next I used our new Framelits from the Heart Collection* (125599). Boy, I am so happy to see Stampin' Up going in the right direction with these new Framelits.  The possibilities are endless, don't you think. 

My sentiment is from the stamp set With All My Heart (118134/ 118623) and punched with our Modern Label Punch (119849).  My pretty pleated ribbon is the new ribbon from the Occasions Mini called Riding Hood Red Pleated Ribbon* (125569).  Doesn't it just add the final little touch.

But today it's all about sharing with you my annual refrigerator magnet calendars.  They measure approx. 3.5 x 6.5 and are oh so cute.  I did a little punch art for this year.  I got the idea from one of our Stampin' Up Success Magazines.  I think he looks more like a cute little bird all perched up on a single branch.

Well that's it for me today.  It seems like after Christmas is always a good time to clean out the old and make room for some new.  So that's my plan for the next few months.  Organizing to make room for some new and pretty things.
