Hello Folks. . .  Happy Wednesday and welcome back.  Today I have last weeks MOJO Sketch.  I enjoyed this sketch very much.  Of course what can I say, yes I used the beautiful Spice Cake Designer Paper.  OMG

My card base is a 4.25" square.  For my circles I used my nesties, but Stampin' Up has the Circle Scissors Plus #112530.  This handy dandy tool will cut a circle from 1" to 6".  Perfect every time.  The stripped designer paper you see is from the Neutral Designer Series Pack #117154.  The butterfly is from the stamp set Butterfly Prints (W121049/C120738) and punched with the coordinating punch #119848.  My birthday wishes are from the new set Petite Pairs (W122495/C122497) found in the catty on pg 164 and  punched with the Decorative Label Punch #120907.  What a great set, you actually have matching verses, one for the outside and one for the inside.

Are you a dog lover or know someone who is, well today I have a card to share that will knock their socks off.  The stamp set is new this year and it's called Not So Seriously W123085 C123087.  It's just another stamp set in the line of many that are great for expressing birthday wishes. This layout came from Ann Schach over at The Stampin Schach.  Thanks Ann for a great layout.

My cardbase is Early Expresso, matted with some So Saffron.  I used our Big Shot and Square Latice Embossing Folder for some texture.  Next layer is a repeat of the above just a little smaller in size.  My neutral is Whisper White #100730.  I embossed my image is Chocolate Chip Craft Ink and sprinkled some Clear Embossing Pwd over it.  Heated it with my Heat Tool.  You probably can't see it but I did use markers to color in their collars.  For my #1 Ribbon I used our Scallop Punch and our 1 3/8" Circle Punch.  Added some ribbon for tails.  My #1 was cut with my Cricut.  For my sentiment I made a flag and attached a CC brad.

Hello My Stampin' Friends. . .    I have some very pretty blues to share with you today.  It's a happy day kind of cards that you just can't wait to send and put a smile on someone's face.  My stamp set is once again Raining Flowers W122765 C122767.  It's one of the more expensive sets but it has 13 images for you to work with.  You can find it on pg 111 in your catty.  My sentiment is from Friendly Phrases W126149 C126151.  It has six great little sayings that are guanranteed to put smiles on faces.  My colors are Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, and Pretty in Pink.  I used what's called the stamping off technique.  It adds depth to any card.  Ink you background stamp up pretty good, stamp and then stamp again.  This gives you a tad shade lighter of the same color you inked up.  I did that both in the Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze inks.  My designer paper is from the Regals Designer Series Paper Pack #117154.  All the designer paper packs are fun to work with and give you another option if you don't happen to have matching dp on hand.  Great paper pack to have in you collection.  My cool tool of the day is of course the Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402 and my pretties are a little 1/4" Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon and a couple of rhinestones.  This is a great card to send to someone you just want to say hello to and are thinking of them.

Hello My Crafty Friends. . .  Well, you've had a few days now to look over your catty.  What do ya think?  Once again Stampin' Up has given us a beautiful book to choose from plus it is chocked full of ideas, color combos, 3D projects and much much more.  Don't forget folks that the Idea Book and Catalog is not only a great source for new products but it also is a great source for layouts, color combos and great ways we can use our new products.  Today I have a card that I cased directly from the new catalog.  You can find it on pg 124.  I'm using the Flower Fest Stamp Set.  I changed the color scheme and used a few different cool tools but the layout and the idea are the same.   Remember folks whenever your MOJO has seemed to escape the Idea Book and Catalog is a great place to refresh your MOJO.  I did use a technique on this card and it is called embossing.  I stamped my butterfly with White Craft Ink and embossed it with White Embossing Powder then cut them out.  It's a great way to achieve color without having to actually color it.  Great technique give it a try.

Hello my Crafty Friends. . .  OMG have I got a cutie putie to share with you today.  It's another sneek peek from the new catty.  There's just a few days left and the new Idea Book and Catalog will make its debut.  Yippie!!!  I am so ready for new DP and rubba.  The stamp set is Pennant Parade.  It is so so cute.  I used the new In Color Island Indigo for my card base, then a layer of WW.  I used some of the new designer paper called Just Add Cake.  The picture in the catty does not do it justice.  You will absolutely love it!!!!!!!!  My other colors are Calypso Coral also a new In Color and ole' faithful So Saffron.  What's even more exciting is that the stamp set has a matching punch called Petite Pennants Builder.  There is nothing better than having cool tools that coordinate with our stamp sets to make our papercrafting a better crafting experience.  For my sentiment I used the b/d stamp from the ret. Well Scripted.  Punched it with our Scallop Oval Punch and nested it with another piece of Island Indigo punched with the 1 3/4 circle punch.  I decorated the inside and my envie with a stamp from the retiring Party Hearty #111532, added some Rhinestone Jewels (boy they do sparkle) and viola' you have a perfect Birthday Card for someone special young or old.

Hello My Crafty Friends. . .  Welcome to Tuesday morning, once again I'm  using the stamp set Flower Fest.  I just love the roses and how easy it is to have a coordinating punch to punch my image perfectly.  Love it!!!!!!  You can find this set in your Summer Mini.  My colors are Poppy Parade, the retiring Pawsitively Prints Desinger Paper, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White. Pawsively Prints is one of our retiring designer papers, but don't fret it is still available, but quantities are limited.  So don't delay your order.   To make my roses pop I did emboss them with Whisper White Craft Ink and Natural White Embossing Pwd and used my heating tool.  My circles are from the #2 Scallop Die Cut, and the 3" circle die cut.  I used my paper piercer on my scallops for a little more definition.  Don't you think that works wonderfully.  I sure do.  My So Saffron Scallop is from the Trim Biz Die Cut, or you can do it the old fashioned way by using your slot punch.  My tag is a non SU item and the ribbon is Poppy Parade Stitched Ribbon.  It's all the rage now to decorate the inside of your card as well, so on the inside I used the Butterfly from this set and stamped it randomly in So Saffron.  I used the stamp off method so it would give me a lighter image.  My sentiment is retired.

Good Morning My Friends. . .  Happy Wednesday  Today I have a birthday card to share featuring our oh so cute Aviary Stamp Set, Priceless Stamp Set and sentiment is from SAB So Happy For You (ret).  I started out with Whisper White as my card base, matted with a piece of Marina Mist topped off with another piece of Whisper White.  I used our Big Shot and Finial Press Embossing Folder.  Next I cut a 1 3/4 strip of Basic Black and matted it with a piece of Marina Mist DP from the Subtles Designer Series Paper pack.  For my focal point I used a 3 1/4" square and used out Scallop Trim Border Punch and Corner Punch to make my scallops.  Remember always start in the corners for this technique.  My flowers were inked in Basic Black and cut out with our paper snips.  Added a little pizzazz with a crystal brad on top and silver brads for the flower centers.  This stamp set is just so cute no matter what you choose to do with it.  Pairing it up with the Priceless flowers makes it extra special, don't you think.

Hello My Friends. . .  Welcome to Wednesday.  It's Hump Day, that means we are a little closer to the week end.  Are you ready for Easter Sunday.  I'm still in the planning stage, going to the grocery store on Thur or Friday.  Today I have a card to share using this weeks MOJO Monday Sketch.  I used one of our new stamp sets from the Summer Mini.  The Summer Mini will go live on May 1st.  If you didn't receive a mini please let me know.  If you have a relationship with another demonstrator please contact her.  My color combo is Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler and Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper.  First up, I used the Framed Tulip Embossing Folder on my Baja Breeze piece.  Next I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler at 3 x 4" and matted it with a piece from Paisley Petals.  My stamp set is Touch of Kindness.  It's a set of 9 images with sayings.  Cute, Cute.  I stamped my image with Black Stazon on Whisper White, used Bashful Blue and Going Gray markers with a blender pen.  Be careful the paper will pill if you try to blend too much.  I just kind of pitter patter until the hard line of the marker starts to blend.  For a little pizzazz I did add some glitter to the water drops.  It took it up a notch.  Ribbon is the 1/2 Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.

Hello My Friends. . .  Top of the Morning To Ya.  Today I have a fun fun card to share with you featuring the stamp set Bring On the Cake.  It is chocked full of all kinds of fun images to make your Birthday Cards special.  You can find it in the Occasions Mini on pg 20.  My color combo is Tempting Turq, So Saffron, Poppy Parade, Whisper White and the oh so cute Pawsitively Prints II.  I used Basic Black and Poppy Parade Ink and used my markers to color in my images.  I used my Big Shot and the Birds and Bloom Die Cut for the cute little scallop flower in the corner.  Topped it off the a random button and tied it with a black gingham ribbon.  I think this card could be used for a toddler, teenager and could even be considered a manly man card.
