Fall Fun and a Little Fund Raising

November 13th, 2014 , 1 Comment »

Hello Folks. . .  Sorry for being MIA for so long.  Was having blog technicalities.  Happens every once in a while.  Meanwhile I was busy.  This is my favorite time of the year for crafting.  I volunteer at the local hospital a couple days a week.  This week is our big Extravaganza.  It's one of our biggest fund raisers for the year.  I love to bake so I volunteered to make some Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies (oh so yummy!!!).  I needed something to put them in that was easy for the volunteers to sell plus I wanted a WOW factor.  This is what I came up with.

I cut a 12 x 12 piece at 5.5 x 10 and scored down each side at 1/2 inch.  Then I tunred it and scored at 5" to create a pocket.  Then I just decorated it with a fall theme.  The pumpkin is one of my favorite punch art techniques.  I used our 1 3/4" oval punch, sponged around the edges with Early Expresso and used a retired sentiment.  My ribbon is our retired 1 1/4" Stripped Ribbon.  So sorry to see it gone it ties like butter.  This is a great way to use some of your designer paper and buy some more.  LOL

These are going in the cute pocket holders

Thanks for sticking with me, I hope you enjoyed todays project.  If you need supplies please shop at my Online Web Store.  Have a great stamping day.  Until next time.  Toodles

Yummmmm!   Those pockets are wonderful!   How many cookies do they each hold and do you share your cookie recipe?   Thanks!
