Monday’s MOJO Sketch

starmojosketch

starmojosketch1

Hello Folks. . .  Today I want to share my take on this weeks MOJO sketch using some of our new In Colors.  My card base is Sahara Sand, topped with some Moonlight Designer Paper Pack paper.  My inspiration for this card comes from Julie herself.  I cased her star idea.  My large circle was die cut from our Starburst Framelit Set and matted with a die cut circle.  Next up is a handmade banner using Whisper White and Hello Honey.  My stamp set is a retired set called Word Play.  I apologize as I keep using retired stamp sets.  I have not purchased much from our new catty yet, I'm hoping when the new Holiday Mini comes out that I will get a little bit more inspired.  For a little depth I dragged out an old cool tool,  the Krimper and made another banner strip for the top.  My larger star was punched with a retired Star Punch and my smaller star cames from Circle Thinlet die set.  I thought it was still missing a little something so I added some Candy Dots and a little bling.  Oh, if you are wondering where I got the diagonal strips.  I used one of our embossing folders.  On the inside I stamped H/B using a font from the Sassy Salutations Set.  I love that set.  I use it all the time.

Well thanks for stopping by, if you need supplies I would love to be your demonstrator.  Click on the link below to shop at my SU Web Store.  Have a fun stamping day.  Until next time.  Take Care – Toodles

Itty bitty Banners With Style

Happywatercolorundles

Helo Folks. . .  Today I have a quick and simple card to share.  I found the layout when browsing around for ideas.  My stamp set is the retired Happy Watercolor and I used our banner framelit from Ittty Bitty Banners.  My designer paper is from the new new 4 x 6.5" "Moonlight" paper stack using our new In Colors.  My base is Sahara Sand topped with Whisper White and some Speciality Print designer paper  (ret).  I changed up the background color to Sahaar Sand by sponging ink using my ink pad.  I attached some of our new Blackberry Bliss satin ribbon for a little extra pizzazz.

Honey Hello and Blackberry Bliss

blackberryblishbloom

Hello Folks. . .  I have a pretty girlie girl card to share today.  It's your standard A2 card size using two of our new In Colors Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey.  I used a new embossing folder called Decorative Dots #133520.   My next layer is a banner flag using some new designer paper "Moonlight" #133701.  My stamp set is a new Hostess Set called "Bloom With Hope".  It has eleven (11) floral stamps and can only be purchased with a $150 order.  It's a great set to use with our new "Blendabilities".  I used the "Daffodil Delight Assorment"  They come in  set of  three alochol markers and blend beautifully.  If you like to color, you need to give the new markers a try.  The cost for three markers is only $11.95.  I used one of our Paper Dolies and some of the new 3/8" Stitch Satin Blackberry Bliss Ribbon #133668.

Notepads

notepads

Hello Folks. . .  here's a cute idea for all of you who need a craft fair idea.  I found this little note book on the web here. I cut a piece of card stock 4.25 x 11", then turned it and cut four (4) 2 3/4" pieces.  You wind up with eight (8) 2 3/4 x .4.25" pieces.  You will also need a front piece of Whisper White cardstock to decorate and you will also need a piece of chip board for the back of your note pad for support.  I used some of the cardboard that comes with your designer paper packs.  Next cut a piece of coordinating designer paper 2 3/4" x 5 1/2.  To hold it all together I used a couple strips of sticky tape.  While holding all my pieces tightly together I attached them to the sticky strip.  Next take your bone folder and fold over a small piece of ds paper, it's about 3/4 of an inch, then burnish with your bone folder on the top to make sure all of your pieces are attached.  It works just like a post it note. Trim your designer paper in the back and you have yourself a little note book that you can tear one piece out of at a time just like a sticky note.

I hope I have  not confused you too much.  But trust me is all comes together in the end.  For a visual visit the site above.  Before I stuck it all together I stamped a little bit on each piece of card stock.  My stamps are random and mostly retired ones.  Use what you have that will fit.

Thanks for stopping by.  If I can help in any way please let me know.  If you need to order supplies please click on my link below.  Take care and have a wonderful stamping day.  Toodles

Flower Shop Tissue Box Card

flowershoptissue

Hello Folks. . . Today  I have a cute and creative card to share.  This card has totally been cased from a fellow demonstrator Sandy Hancock.  She has a video click here to view.

This is a standard A2 card.  I have used the set "Flower Shop".  Colors are Marina Mist and Whisper White.  I used our "Honeycomb" embossing folder on the WW.  My sentiment comes from "Sassy Salutations".  What a great stamp set, I use it all the time.    Be sure and do all your stamping before you use the embossing folder.

On the inside there is a cute little box.  It measures 5.5 x 3, scored at 1, 2.5, 3.5 and 5".  I did run it thru with the "Honeycomb" embossing folder and punched the oval with our Scallop Oval Punch.  Be sure and use sticky tape to hold it together.

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy this cute little "Feel Better" Tissue Box Card.  Until next time.  Toodles

Fun With Color and a New Catalog Release

deariedolls

Hello Folks. . .  hope you are all doing well.  Today  have acouple of  very cute summer cards to share.  The only thing Stampin' Up related on them are the cardstock and designer paper along with a few ccessories and framelits.   These are Dearie Dolls Digi Images.  A good friend of mine sent me a couple of these and I thought I would color them up for her.  I did use Stampin' Up "Blendabilities" (Cherry Red, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana).  The hair and skin tones were "Copics".  I have found that starting with our darker color and working to the ligh color has worked out best for me.  I'm looking forward to some additional colors.  Unfortunately "Blendabilites" will not be available at the release of our New Catalog being released today.  As soon as I hear something I'll let everyone know.  My large envelope was made with our new Envelope Punch Board.
