Hello Folks. . .  Stampin' Up has a new buzz word "Blendabilities".  For those of you that don't know they are alcohol markers with a brush and marker tip.  Alcohol markers are unique.  They are streak free.  No need to worry, you can fill in large areas with no streaks and blend shadows hence the name "Blendabilities".  They come in a set of three coordinating colors (light, medium and dark) and with a little practice you can become and expert in coloring your images.  You will need a back ink pad that will not smear, so with the new catty you will be able to purchase a Memento Ink Pad and refill.  Stampin' Up is also recommending using our beautifully smooth Whisper White card stock.  Be sure and stock up.

Today I have a beautiful card to share using these unique products.  As a demonstrator we get to have a sneek peek at the new products that will become available on June 2nd.  So I got to play.  My card base is Whisper White, matted with a piece of Coastal Cabana card stock and a new color from out new In Colors called Hello Honey.  Next layer is one of our paper doilies topped with a couple of die cut circles.  My flowers are from Secret Garden cut with their matching framelits and my sentiment is from "Petite Pairs".

My best advise in learning to shade your images is to start with your darkest color and work your way to your lightest color.  Practice makes perfect so don't get discouraged.  My colors are from the Coastal Cabana and the Daffodil Delight "Blendabilities".  For a little more drama I used some of our Pearls.

On the inside I have "Happy Birthday" from our "Perectly Pinned" set that is retiring in May.

I sure hope you will give these markers a try.  Like I said above they are packaged in a set of three (Light, Medium and Dark) at a very affordable price of $11.95.  They are not refillabe and the brush tip is made from nylon and will not fray.  With normal use they will last you a good long time.  Have patience with them and before long you will be coloring like a pro.  If you have any questtions please drop me a line.  Remember these are not available till the release of our new Annual Catalog on June 2nd.  Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful stamping day. I need to do somemore coloring.  LOL  Until next time.  Toodles
