Hello Folks. . . happy day to ya. Today I have a starburst card to share with you. This is my very first try at this. I love the new Modern Medley Designer Paper #126926. Black and White/Vanilla is a stunning combination.
I cut four different strips of the Modern Medley DP. They are cut at 1.5 x 4. Next take the strip to your paper cutter and line up opposite corners in the groove of your paper cutter and cut. Now you have two perfect triangles. Next cut a piece of scrap paper 2 3/4 x 5 and mark your center (2.5"). Have your strips lined up in front of you to establish your pattern. Less confusion that way. You want the strips to stick down nicely so use your Stampin' Up glue stick and make sure you cover the whole piece especially the edges. Next take your strips and start arranging them. Make sure that the strips are hanging off the top edge. When you have all your strips on, trim off the edges so your original size is back to 2 3/4 x 5. Viola' you have a pretty starburst pattern. Now if I have totally confused you (LOL) google "Starburst Card" and several videos will appear.
But I wasn't done yet. For my focal point I used our Delicate Doilies Sizzlets #126999. This die is beautiful but definitely requires patience. If you take some wax paper and place on the die and next place your cardstock down you will have an easier time with all the small cut outs. I cut two, one in Basic Black and one Very Vanilla, I was looking for a positive/negative look. I took my VV half and glued it on. I didn't like the look where the two came together so I cute a 1/8" BB strip and it made the center softer and unnoticeable. My circle is a 2" circle. My stamp set is Sassy Salutations (132070/126707) – great stamp set!! I finished it off with a little VV 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed this card. I was looking for something new and different. I think it turned out darling. If I can help, please let me know. Hello Folks, hope you are all doing well. Today I have a quick post for you. I have two more craft fair items to share with you for this fall. Who can resist one of these cute punch art candy holders. You can use whatever candy you like, but I wanted something about 2" wide and round. I've used New York Peppermints as my candy treat. This is punch art so for my Pumpkins I used our smallest size oval from our Oval Framelit #129381. Color is Pumpkin Pie. I used a sponge and sponged the edges, free handed my Early Expresso stems and rolled my green curly ques with a toothpick. My snowman is Whisper White punched with three different sizes of our Circle punches. My hat was punched with our 1" square punch and the brim is from our window punch. Gosh I got so excited to take the picture that I forgot to attach their noses. LOL Be assured that are not going noseless. I hope you enjoy these, they are not anything new but I do enjoy these cute little guys. If you have any questions, please let me know. To place your fall orders please use the link below. Take care and have a great week-end. Until next time. Toodles

Hello Folks. . . Happy day to ya. Today I have another craft fair idea. I cased this idea from Dawn Griffin. It's a card box holder that will hold approx 3 cards plus envies. I used colors from our new In Color line (Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana. My stamps sets are Gorgeous Grunge (130514/130517), One In A Million (132052/128382) and Flower Stop (130939/130942). I also used our corresponding punch the Pansy Punch (130698), it matches with Flower Shop. Cool tools are always great to have. My Happy Birthday comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes and punched with our Word Window Punch. Cut a paper doily in fourths and cut the strips out by hand. The inside is blank at the moment, but I could add something at a later time. For the visual viewers Dawn has a video posted that shows just how easy this is,

Hello Folks hope all is going well this Saturday morning. Today I have a special fold card. It is called as cascade card. It is a total case from the site by Kelly Acheson called "A Stamp Above" you can find it here. My stamp set is Flower Shop #130939/130942 coordinated with our matching Pansy Punch #130698. . My card base is Whisper White. There is a lot going on for this card. For my focal point I used one of our paper doilies and folded it in half, next I punched a 2 3/8" Scallop Circle with our punch #118874 and then punched a nesting circle measuring 2" from one of our die cuts. My sentiment is from a retired hostess set "Afterthoughts". My ink colors are Raspberry Ripple, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie. For some floral fill in I used our Bird Punch for the leaf stems and placed them randomly about. For a little added touch I also used or Papillon Potpourri #132058/123759 with the Elegant Butterfly Punch #127526. This is a beautiful butterfly stamp set that I use all the time. Love it !!!
Now remember this is an unusual fold so the inside of your card is acutaly the back of your card. I decorated the back with some designer paper from Polka Dot Parade #126902, used a framelit from our Window Frames #129021 and stamped a sentiment from Petite Pairs #128706/122497.
This card is spectacular and it is not difficult to master. Check out the wesite above for all the deets. Now it is a bit oversized so for a envy I used one of our large envelopes which I had sitting around so be sure and check that out so you can gift this card to someone special.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your Saturday and the rest of your week end If you have any question please let me know. If you need supplies, please click on the link below. Until next time – take care and happy stamping!!! Toodles

Hello Folks. . . hope you are doing well today. I have a cute fun Halloween gift idea. As you now I'm gearing up for some craft fair fun. My black stripped paper bag is not from Stampin' Up, I found them at the dollar store a few weeks back and thought they were perfect for Halloween. I cut a piece of Basic Black 3.25 x 6 and scored in half. Next is a layer of designer paper from Sweater Weather #132184 from the Holiday Catty. I used one of our tags from the Two Tags Biz Die. I could not find it in our catalog so I'm thinking they retired it. I stamped my background with a couple of dot stamps from various sets. My greeting comes from the That's A Ticket Set from the last mini. I love punch art pumpkins, so I thougth this was a perfect place for one. I punched three ovals from my Small Oval Punch, sponged the edges with Pumpkin Pie Ink, added a stem and some curly cues and viola' you have a cute party favor. I cut a slit in the back of my bag for a "Hershey's Chocolate Bar" but you can do whatever fancies you for your gift idea.
I guess I need to apologize, as I as grabbing stuff to make this gift pack I did not realize that most of my products are retired. Freel free to substitute with what you have or better yet there are several options in our new Holiday Catty. I hope you enjoy, I'm having such fun, I think fall is the best time for stamping fun, don't you. Such fun rich colors, that's what's it's all about.

Hello Folks. . . Welcome to Monday. I made a couple of cards over the week end. The one I have to share today is nothing but cuteness. LOL I'm using one of our new single stamps from the Holiday Mini. I know it is August but I think I enjoy crafting the most in the fall. It's time to be thinking about craft fairs. My stamp set is called Halloween Happiness (131859). You can't get any cuter than pretty orange pumpkins all gussied up. My color combo comes from the Holiday Catalog as well. It's our new fall designer paper called Sweater Weather #132184. Full of rich fall colors, orange, yellow and pale blues. My cardbase is Very Vanilla, topped with a deep yellow. I made a rich Early Expresso flag. My pom pom ribbon was retired some time ago, but it sure does fit in here. I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter for a little pizzazz and a couple of our new Candy Dots.
Thanks for stopping by. I was dog sitting this week end for my daughter. Let me tell you four dogs is a bit much even for this puppie lover. The family went to Minnesota for our last softball tournament of the year. Now it's almost time to gear up for school softball. You gotta love softball. LOL You know I do. Hello Folks and happy day to ya. Today I have a cased card to share with you. What brought it to my attention was the color combination. It's not one I would normally have selected but it works very well don't you think. The card base is one of our newest colors to our color families this year Smoky Gray, topped with a piece of Whisper White. Next is a mat of Daffodil Delight and another new In Color Strawberry Slush. This is a clean and simple card, takes no time to do. I did add a little extra step though by embossing my image with Craft White Ink and Natural White Embossing Powder. I think it gave it a little more pizzazz. My sentiment is from the same stamp set as my flower, Blooming With Kindness. My pretties are 1/4" Stitch Daffodil Delight Grosgrain Ribbon and some of our new Candy Dots. I can't say enough about our Candy Dots, so convenient and easy to use. It you want to make it into a brad we have them too, but I don't see why you would need a brad. This keeps everything nice and flat for easy mailing.
