Stampin' Up Postage Due Stamp Set with Brown Sugar Card Stock Holiday Mini Buy Three Get On Free

Hello Folks. . .  happy Wednesday to ya.  First things first right.  This is the last day for our Buy Three and Get on Free Designer paper.  Tommorow the Holiday Catalog goes live.  There is some very pretty designer paper in this years catty.  Be sure and check it out.  You should have received you catalogs by now.  Now for today's share

I have missed making my vintage cards, so today that's what I have to share with you.  Our new Brown Sugar cardstock is great for the vintage look.  I used the stamp set Postage Due (132064/126397) and used some of our pink embossing powder for a special effect.  Then I sponged with Brown Sugar for a worn look.  My Brown Sugar piece is cut at 5.25 x 4 and I used our Framed Tulips Embossing Folder (121809).  Again for continuity I sponged with Brown Sugar all around the edges.  For balance I used the postage stamps from the set and put them in the right corner and used our 7/8" Scallop Punch (129404), punched six of them and scrunched them up and made pretty matching flowers.  Just the right size don't you think.  For some special touches I added a string of pearls and some PIP Taffeta Ribbon which unfortunately has been retired.  I love the taffeta ribbon, it ties like butter.  Love it!!!  I decided to make this a sympathy card, so I got my Teeny Tiny Wishes out, punched with the Word Window Punch (119857) and attached it to my ribbon with a safety pin.  Viola'  You have a pretty vintage looking card for your stash.
