Stampin Up Summer Silhouettes Birthday Card

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Monday to ya.  Sorry for the last post, I've been picking up sticks.  Ugh!!!!  Today I have a cased card to share with you.  I was inspired by another demo Brenda Keenan.  Don't you just love it.

For my card base I used Wild Wasabi, I love this green and should use it more often.  I paired it up with some Tangerine Tango and Very Vanilla.  My stamp sets are Summer Silhouettes #126447, Papillon Potpourri #123759 and Teeny Tiny Wishes #127802.  My inks were a little different, I did use Wild Wasabi and Daffodil Delight but for my orange I used our pretty Calpso Coral.  I also embossed my base card with the lovely Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder (ret).

I used a coupe of techniques on this one.  First my clouds were creating by a masking technique.  I punched one our 1 3/4" Scallop Circles and sponged around just the top to give me the look of clouds and the other techniques is called Stamping Off.  Ink you image and stamp it several time before you reink.  Both are easy peasy!!!    For the inside I used another retired verse and stamped another flower image from Summer Silhouettes.  I got ambitious with this one and stamped a few more images on my Very Vanilla envelope.  They are not ready to go to my staff basket for the craft fairs this fall.

I hope you are enjoying this years new catalog.  The Holiday Catalog will be released on Aug 1st.  We have already got a sneek peek and will be pre ordering in July.  If you are a paper nut like me you will definitely enjoy this new release.  Beautiful designer papers just in time for the holidays.  If you have any questions or would like to place an order please click on the link below.  You know I love being your demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful stamping day.  Until next time.  Toodles
