Hello Folks. . Happy day to ya. Today I have a card to share featuring one of our current Hostess Stamp Sets that will be retiring. I found this idea some time ago and am just now getting to it but so glad I did. I used Pear Pizzazz as my go to color for my wreath. It is one of the colors that Stampn' Up has decided to bring back along with Island Indigo. If you haven't seen that post yet please click here to view our Color Refresh. My card is a standard A2 card measuring 4.25 x 11, scored at 5.25. My color combo is Very Vanilla and Island Indigo teamed up with a piece of designer paper from our Tea For Two Series Paper and another strip of green that has long been retired. I'm not sure exactly where it came from, Christmas paper I think. The stamp set itself was just greenery so I decided to use another stamp set that is being retired calledItty Bitty Bits. It is also on the retired side. Don't you think it worked well. It jazzed up the spring wreath and gave it that little bit more of pizzazz. My circle is 2.25 in diameter and I was having trouble finding a scallop circle that would work and it finally dawned on me that I could use one of the pretty circle from our Delicate Doilies Sizzlits. It pays to think out of the box once in a while. LOL My sentiment is from our Perfectly Penned set. Still thought it needed a little something on that dark background so I added some of our sparkly rhinestones for just the right sparkle. My recipe with item numbers are listed below for your convenience.
- Cardstock – Very Vanilly, Island Indigo, Tea For Two Designer Paper 3129311

Today I have a quick and easy gift idea to share. I used Stampin' Ups Two Tags Biz Die for my pocket. My cardstock is Summer Starfruit. I used our SAB designer paper Sycamore Street (retired). My stamp set is Ciao Baby #129648. You know I love my tools so its just great when you have a coordinating punch to go along with your image. Love it!!!! The punch is from our Sale A Bration package too. I'm sure it will be made available in our new catalog which is coming in June. Hello Folks. . . I've got something different to share today. It's has an unusual fold to it. I believe it's called a Gate Card, if its not it must be related. LOL If you want to do it the easy way, use a piece of 12 x 12 two sided designer paper. If you want something a littel more strudy, use card stock and add designer paper. The angles are a little tricky but doable. I used a retired card stock called Barely Banana and my designer paper is from this years SAB paper pack. My stamp set is Make a Wish #129222 from the Spring Catty. I was lucky and won this at Regionals. Woo Hoo!!! My ink is Rich Razzleberry. Ths makes a great birthday card. I hope you enjoy it. Now for the dimensions.
Cut your cardstock or dp 4.25 x 12. Score at 2, 4, 8 and 10. Now for the angles!! On the outside edges mark your cardstock at 2 3/4. Now line it up on your cutter. Place the top (your 2 3/4 mark) on your cutter and line up the bottom on the score line at 4 inches. Cut. Be carful when you cut the other end that your cardstock is going in the same direction. I hope this explains is ok. If you have any questions please let me know.
Stampin' Up has released another photopolymer stamp set #133411 called Bombs Away, a great birthday set. ALSO GREAT NEWS!! Finally after many months we have a reconfigured Basic Black Ink Pad. Stampin' Up! has accepted a formula with their supplier that shows improvement. The new formula has a reduced dye concentration that will allow it to better absorb into the cardstock.

Hello Folks. Today is it. Today is the last day to take advantage of our FREE SHIPPING. I will be placing our order for my Mini Stamp A Stack today. Don't forget about my April Card Kit. For more deets please click here. I know you will enjoy this stamp set "Oh Hello". There are so many things you can do with it. Now on to todays share.
Today I'm sharing with you one of our Single Stamp Sets. It's called Spec-tacular #132673. This promotion was so popular that SU has decided to carry it on till the new release of our June Catalog. This design will make a great masculine card. If you follow me regularly you know masculine cards are hard for me. I'm a flowery kind of girl. My base is Basic Grey, a color I don't use too often. My first layer is Basic Black and matted with designer paper from Twitterpated (retired). It was the only gray I had sitting out. Next is a layer of Real Red and Whisper White. I inked my stamp with markers. Then I added some googly eyes and a red pom pom. Just for some fun. I felt my background was a little bare so I did end up using our Chevron Embossing Folder for some depth. It's a quick and easy card.
I hope you have been able to take advantage of our FREE Shipping. Today is the last day. I know the color refresh was a shock to most people. Didn't see it coming. It has been three years now. It will take a little adjustment but WOW I'm so happy they are bringing back some of the great In Color from the past. I especially love Calypso Coral and Island Indigo and Pear Pizzazz. I'm getting excited, it will soon be time to view our sneek peeks for next year. I'm in need of some inspiration myself. This include new rubba. So now's the time to place those orders. Products will only be available while supplies last. Don't forget about the new catalogs. If you need one please let me know asap.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you had fun today. This is my last card I have done up, so I need to get my brain engaged. I have been coloring a new digital image. So cute. It's for Christmas. LOL My moto is never to early for Christmas Cards.
