Hi Folks. . . I'm at a loss for words today. I have a card to share that makes my heart flutter. While I was browsing Pinterest one day I came across some sites that featured instructions on blending Copic markers. It just so happens to be a European site. WOW!! It was so easy to follow and I lucked out and had most of these colors. What I didn't have I substitued colors that were as close as I could get. Today I would like to share this digi image with you. Enjoy. I think I might frame one of these, surely I can do something with it.

Hello Folks. . . Happy day to ya. Boy I got excited today. I was browsing on Pinterest and came across a couple of things. I found the cutest card using our Scentsational Season stamp set. I'll show that in a couple days. But OMG I also came across a Copic Coloring Site. It went to great detail in explaining the art of color and how Copics works. It's something I will have to read several times. There are so many Copics that it can be quite overwhelming. But I'm probably not telling you anything you don't all ready know. If you don't hear from me for awhile you will know I'm knee deep in coloring. I enjoy it so. So on today's card.
It a Valentine's Day card using this weeks MOJO sketch. It's a new sketch that I haven't seen before so I jump right in and decided it could use some hearts. My cardbase is Very Vanilla, seems to be the color of the day. Next a layer of Riding Hood Red using our Square Latice Embossing Folder. My focal point begins with another piece of Very Vanilla matted with 1 5/8" squares. I give you these measurements because it's always trial and error for me when I do squares like this. Ugh!! My designer paper is from the Spring Catalog called More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper (129309). A couple of stamp sets used here, first our Hearts a Flutter Bundle. When you bundle you save 15%, that's money in your pocket. The other one is retired from last year – Valentines Defined. Oh shame on me I used another set from last year as well for my sentiment called Filled With Love. Ok, we got it right now. LOL The little strip of hearts is another embossing folder. It's pint sized what, just half of a regular eb folder, but boy it makes a statement, don't you think. For my ribbon I needed something blue, didn't have Baja Breeze Seam Binding, so I made my own. I used White Seam Binding and my Baja Breeze reinker. Put a couple of drops of ink and a little water in one of our plastic containers and let my ribbon soak it up. It works like a charm. So remember that little tip next time you're in a pinch for a particular color of ribbon.

Hello Folks. Happy Wednesday. I just finished up the baby cards that I shared the other day and they turned out so cute that I thought they were worth another peek. I did enhance them a little bit more, just seems like I can't help myself. LOL I personalized the envelopes and dressed them up a little. I used a retired jumbo roller of stars and bubbles. inked with Pretty In Pink ink and then stamped the word B A B Y on them. Not sure what stamp set it belongs to.

Just the right baby touch don't you think? Next my designer paper is from Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper. I believe that was in our Holiday Mini. It has some very nice plaids and checks just right for little babies. My focal point background is Cajun Craze matted with a special blend paper for Copics. My image is stamped with Black Stazon and I colored it with my Copics. My ribbon believe it or not is Night of Navy 3/8" Taffetta. Hello Folks. . . hope you are doing well today. Here's my card that I promised, didn't it turn out cute. My card base is the standard A2 card (5 1/2 x 8 1/2) scored at 4 1/4 . I needed a baby girl card so I chose Pretty In Pink as my card base, topped it with a piece of shimmery white. I found my idea for my focal point out there on the web (where else!) My baby bib base was cut from our Scallop #2 die cut and my inside scallop was punched with our 2 3/8" scallop punch. OMG I don't remember which designer paper pack my pretty blue and pink plaid came from, so I'm gonna say it's retired. Jeez! I used two stamps sets, my little bird is from Cheep Talk (ret) and my sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners (126255/126257) and it has a matching framelit Bitty Banners (129267). Oh, it's so nice when you can match a stamp set with a coordinating framelit. Makes life so much more fun. LOL I punched my hearts with the Three Hearts Punch (ret) and sponged them with a litte Rose Red using a sponge. My embossing folder is not SU (I'm using up some of my scrap pieces). My prettie ribbon is our 1/4" Stitch Grosgrain Ribbon Whisper White (126877).

Hello Folks. . Happy Monday. Today I have something exciting to share with you. While browsing the web the other day I came across this cute project using a Collage Frame. This idea comes from Diana Gibbs at Stampin' With Di. A couple of months ago Stampin' Up was featuring this cute Printer's Tray when you signed up to be a demonstrator. Unfortunately I did not recruit any new demonstrators so I missed out on this cute tray. So I went to one of the big box stores and found this Collage Frame. You need at least six spaces, one for each season, one for your calendar and one for a personal picture. These are the four stamp sets that I choose to work with (there are so many to choose from):
- Polar Party for Winter
- French Foilage for Fall
- Cheep Talk for Spring (ret) and
- Touch of Kindness for Summer (ret)
For my calendar I used the new MDS2 software. They have a special catagory named Calendars. You can tweek them just the way you want them. Easy Peasy!!! If you haven't entered the digi world just yet here is your opportunity. Stampin' Up has many tools to help you learn to make great projects like this one. It's more than just scrapbooking. Click here to get started today. If you have any questions please drop me a note, I'm just an email away and of course you can shop at my Stampin' Up On Line Store for any supplies that you need. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this project, I sure had fun making it. I'm thinking Craft Fair, OMG it's too early. LOL I'll have a cute Baby Shower card to share in a few days. Until next time have a wonderful stamping day!!! Toodles

Hello Folks. . . Wishing you a healthy, fun and prosperous New Year. Now that Christmas is over my mind has been thinking about our next holiday Valentine's Day. This weeks MOJO Sketch is perfect for just that. Our Holiday Mini is phasing out tomorrow. If there is anything you have missed now is the time to place your orders. Our Spring Catalog will begin on Jan 3rd and it is chock full of great stamp sets and embellishments. Today my card features some of these pretties.
My card base is a standard A2 card. For those of you not knowing what an A2 card is, it is simply cardstock cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4". I used the softer version of white, our Very Vanilla as my cardbase and matted it with Rose Red. My next layer is another piece of Very Vanilla topped with a piece from our new Designer Series Paper Pack called Print Poetry. I felll in love with this color combination. You can check them out on pg 16 of the Spring Catalog. They are a little different, just 4 1/2 x 6 1/2" in size. Just right for card making. Next is my focal point. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, this sketch was perfect for some layered hearts. My base heart was cut from our Heart Framelits (125599) in the current catalog and layered with a die cut heart from our Scallop Heart of Heart Embosslit (117332). My sentiment comes from a retired set Filled With Love from last year. I love to doodle, so to take up some of that white space that seams to drive me bananas, I doodled around my heart. LOL My cute little silver scallop flower is one of our new products. Designer Builder Brads. For my center I used the circle punch from out Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). TIP: I always find using designer paper a challenge when designing cards for my workshops. I like to use our embossing folders in place of paper. On this one I chose our Square Lattice Embossing Folder (119976). It gives you the look of fabric. Just lovely and you have saved on a little paper. Love it !!!!! The sketch calls for a little ribbon, so to add another layer of Crumb Cake I used our 1/2" Crumb Cake Seam Binding (122332).
Well, that's it for me today folks. I hope you have enjoyed my card for today. I love hearing from you so if you have any questions I'm just an email away. And of course if you would like to place an order you can ORDER ONLINE 24/7 at my Stampin' Up Online Store. Just click here to begin.
Let me take this opportunity to thank everyone for all your support thru out 2012. There is a lot of competition out there and every order is truly appreciated. You are my best advertisement, so please pass the word around to all your family and friends and lets make 2013 even better. I look forward to it. Take care and have a wonder day on this 1st day of the new year. Toodles
