A Pretty Foral With Embellished Events

Stampin Up Birthday Embellished Events

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Day to ya.  OMG today I have a card to share that uses lots and lots of new goodies.  Love it !!!!!!!!

My card base is Whisper White, matted with a piece of our New In-Color Summer Starfruit.  Can you decide if its green or yellow?  I think it has a little of both properties.  LOL  Next layer is a piece of cardstock Raspberry Ripple another new In Color and on top of that is a piece of designer paper from the Comfort Cafe' designer pack #1266898.  To separate the two colors I used a piece of our new 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon Gumball Green #126848.

My stamp set is the ever cute Embellished Events (W126495/C126497).  It is stamped in Gumball Green and topped with one of our new embellishments.  The new In Color Dahlias #127556.  This little flower caught my eye right from the beginning.  I'm so excited to use them.

My sentiment is from a new set called Itty Bitty Banners (W126255/C126257) and to make it easy we have a matching die cut called Bitty Banners Framelits #129267.  Don't you just love it when Stampin Up coordinates matching cool tools.

OMG I almost forgot to mention another die cut Delicate Doilies Sizzlits #126999.  It's part of my focal point, how could I leave it out.  This delicate doily is just the perfect size and matches the Adorning Accents Edgelits #125595.

I hope I have not confused you with all the new toys that I used on this card.  There are lots of them.  I just couldn't wait to get my hands on all of these so I combined them into one card.  Don't you love it.

If you have any questions on any of these new items please let me know, I would love to help you with all your Stampin' Up  shopping needs.  You can place your order in my ON LINE STORE, open 24/7 for your convenience.

Thanks for stopping by.  Leave me some comments if you like, I love hearing from you.  Have a great day and until next time.  Toodles

A Bright Blossom Thank You

Stampin Up Bright Blossoms Thank You I (heart) Hostesses

Hello Friends. . .  OMG what a great week end.  Kourtney and the Royals took first place in the O'Fallon, Il Tournament,  It got a little hairee in places but they did it.  Congrats to them.

Another OMG I received my big, big order Friday night.  Have not had a lot of time to go thru it like I should.  I got to tell you it's a little overwhelming.  So much stuff don't know quite where to start.  LOL

I'm working on the Ribbon Shares, I hope to get them all cut and shipped in the next few days.  I appreciate your patience.  The ribbon is just gorgeous.

Today I would like to share a Shoe Box Swap Card with you.  I just love it.  I know you will recognize the stamp set.  hehe  I don't have the originators name but she did a beautiful job on this one.  The colors are black and red, one of my favs, with Whisper White as the neutral.  Of course the stamp set is Bright Blossoms.  If that stamp set has not tugged at your heart yet, I'm sure it will soon (W125495/C125497).  The designer paper is from Summer Smooches #125409.  Love those polka dots.  Oh by the way did you see the other polka dots paper,  I have it!!!!!  The sentiment comes from Pretty Postage (W123095/C126097) just too cute.  The only pretty is the 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon in Basic Black #124145.

Well that's it for me folks,  I'm a little stressed this morning, I feel I need to catch up from the weekend.  Stamp club is Wednesday and there's another ball game tonight.  This is the last one I can attend for a while, they are getting ready to go to Colorado for a College Scouting Tournament and a little vacation.  So next week will slow down.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you like this little guy and are in need of supplies you can shop in my ON LINE STORE 24/7 for all your SU supplies.  You know I love being your demonstrator.  If you have any questions please drop me a note and I will help all I can.  Thanks for your support.  Have a grand day.  Until next time.  Toodles  P.S.  If you still need a new catty please send me your name and address.  I do ask you to pay $5.35 for the shipping.

A Feminine MOJO Sketch

Stampin Up Birthday MOJO Sketch 245 Petite Pairs I (Heart) Hostess Promotion

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Friday. . .  I'm sorry I seemed to cause a little confusion with my Tea Pot post yesterday.  It is not a Stampin' Up stamp.  You can contact me for more info if you like.

I'm back today with a Stampin' Up set to share with you.  I used this weeks MOJO sketch again.  After I saw Julie's card I just had to make another one.

My cardbase is Crumb Cake and I embossed it with out Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder #117335.  I then sponged it with Crumb Cake ink to give it a little depth and dimension.  Next is a piece of Early Expresso cut at 3.5 x 2 3/8.  On top of that is a layer of Pink Pirouette cut 1/8" small and embossed with our Stripes Embossing Folder #123128 and again sponged with Crumb Cake ink.  The next layer is Early Expresso again cut at 3 1/8 x 2 5/8.  Rounded the corners with the 3/16" Corner Rounder Punch #119871

I made my own designer paper, love it,  from a Pink Pirouette piece of dp found in our Twitterpated paper #125406.  I dressed it up a little by stamping little flowers on it from a set called Itty Bitty Buds, unfortunantely it is retired.  But don't you think it worked very well, I sure do.  Again paper was sponged with Crumb Cake.

For my focal point piece I stamped one of the doily's from the Delicate Doilies Set (W122590/C122592) with Early Expresso punched with a 1 1/2 circle punch, topped it with a circle punched from the 1 3/8" Circle Punch #119860 and stamped with the B/D sentiment from Petite Pairs (W122495/C122497) in our new In Color Primrose Petals.  Oh my flowers where stamped in this too.  The scallop circle is 2" non SU.  My ribbon is Rose Red Seam Binding Ribbon #121884.  My flowers are paper flowers non SU.  For an even more feminine touch I added some pearls around my scallop circle.

I hope you enjoyed today's card, I sure love it.  I would love being your demonstrator if you are in need of SU supplies.  Click here to shop in my ON LINE STORE 24/7With the new catty there is so many things to choose from.  It's very hard to decide what first.  LOL  I WANT IT ALL !!!!!!!!  If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by and chatting.  I look forward to hearing your comments and I'll see ya next time.  Until then have a grand stamping day.  Toodles

Tea Anyone

Stampin Up A Word For You I (Heart) Hostesses

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Day to ya.  I'm sitting here patiently waiting for Mr Brown to arrive, unfortunately it will still be another couple days.  Oh well, in the mean time Anyone For Tea,  I've been playing again with my copics just to see if I still have it.  I dug this sweet stamp set out.  It was a little intimadating but I decided to dig on in.

My cardstock is something new called X-Pressing Blending Sheets.  It's like our Whisper White just a little thicker.  Next I ran a piece of our Tempting Turquoise thru our Big Shot using our Vintage Wall Paper Embossing Folder #120175.  Next is a piece of Basic Black topped with another X-Pressing Blending Sheet stamped with the tea pot images.  I used Palette Noir Black Ink.  I was playing so there are lots and lots of colors in this one.  I'm always trying to find colors that I can blend with that I have on hand.  I first bought my markers when they first came out and they only sold them in groups.  Most of the time you only got a few colors that you could use to blend together.  Hence I have purchased lots more and still only have a few color groups that I can blend with.  It's never ending.

My sentiment comes from the set called A Word For You (W117032/C120528).  I use this set a lot.  I hope you enjoyed today's card, I know all you folks like just Stampin' Up stuff, but while I'm in limbo I like to practice my other skills.  I know you understand.  Life is too short to not use all the product you love.  LOL

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share my artwork with you.  It's is one of my passions.

Fancy Fold With Field Flowers

SUO Field of Flowers Birthday Stampin' Up Hostess Promo New Demonstrator Starter Kit

Hello Folks. . .  Happy day!  I want to thank everyone for all their well wishes on my birthday.  I  went to a Shoe Box Swap on Friday and they even sang Happy Birthday to me.  It brought tears to my eyes.  I made lots of pretty cards that I will share with you later.

SUO Field of Flowers Today I have a simple and clean card to share.  I found the layout while browsing the other day.  My cardstock is Old Olive and matted with a piece of designer paper from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack #117155. (Oh don't you love the design of the new catty, it's so much easier to locate items.)   Make yourself a template with any size triangle, transfer it to your dp and cut down the middle of it.  Then fold back your sides.  My underneath piece is Whisper White, stamped with the set Field Flowers (W122760/C122762) in Island Indigo Ink.  Next take some scraps, mine are 1/2" wide and stamps some words.  I used the set Fabulous Phrases (W117002/C120501) also in Island Indigo.  You might want to use a Stamp A Ma Jig just to be safe.  It took me a couple tries.

JOIN THE FAMILY New demonstrators can have their cake and eat it too when they join Stampin' Up in June.  Not only do you get to choose up to $125 worth of products for your fully customizable Starter Kit, but during June, you will also receive an additional $48 worth of select products from the new Patio Party Suite.  Including the Make a Cake Stamp Set (W or C), Designer Paper and Patio Suite DVD Collection.   I'm so excited I have a new recruit, welcome Donna to Sandy's Stampers.   If you have any questions please contact me, I love to talk shop.

Bird Swing With Copics

Family Phrase Stampin Up Hostess Promotion

Hello Folks. . .  I've had an amazing day.  I colored and used my Copic's today.  I have not done that in a very long time.  Seems like there is never enough time in the day.  But yesterday was the day.

OMG this is just too cute.  I was rooting thru my stamps and came across this cute stamp image.  It's called Bird Swing and it is from Whimsy Stamps.  Too cute!!!  I used lots of colors on this.  If you have ever used Copic's then you know you need oddles and oddles of colors for blending.   I'm seeing $$$$$.  LOL My technique is called On Paper Blending, but I also used what is called Feathering.  This method is easier for me when I am trying to blend two colors for a seamless look.  Here's the colors that I used (B0000, B00. B02, Y15, YG23, YG63, RV01, RV13, E53 and E55).

SU Family Phrases Stampin Up Hostess Promotion

I also used my nesties for my ovals and a circle in the backgroud.  I left the inside blank till I decide what occasion I'm going to use this for.  My cardstock is Tempting Turquoise, matted with Whisper White and a piece of Designer Paper from our Designer Series Paper Pack.  I added a silk flower from an old Hodge Podge kit and a pretty Mary Brown Bow.  My sentiment is from Friendly Phrases.

Bird Swing with Copics Stampin Up Friendly PhrasesI'm in so much trouble, as you know I am a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, but for today I'm just one of the guys.  I know you Stampin' Up die hards will forgive me for I had so much fun experimenting with this.  You've heard the ole' saying "If you don't use it, you lose it".

In just a few days I will be placing my big SU order, so stay tuned I will have lots more goodies to share with you.  Remember, I want to be your Stampin' Up Demonstrator, so if you need any SU supplies please shop in my ON LINE STORE, it's open 24/7 or contact me directly handysandyanmurf@yahoo.com

Elements of Style Easel Card

SUO Elements of Style Easel Card Stampin Up Hostess Promotion

Howdy Folks. . .  happy day to ya.  I was super busy yesterday making cards.  I have two finished and I'm going to share one of  them with you today.  I've seen this done before but I recently noticed it while browsing on the web.  I've changed the colors, added designer paper but the concept is till the same.  It's called an Easel Card and I call the technique a Window style.  My stamp set is Elements of Style (W118611/C120045).  My colors are Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla, and designer paper from Comfort Cafe' #126898.  I stamped my image on Shimmery White card stock.  I watercolored my image using an Aqua Painter #103954 and reinkers.  My Happy Birthday sentiment is from Bring On The Cake (W121899/C121958).

I cut my cardstock at 4.25 x 11, scored at 4.25 and 6 3/8.  Fold the smaller section up and attach another piece of cardstock 4.25 square.  If I have confused you there is a video on Splitcoast.  Go to Resources and search for Easel Card and a video will come up.  I stamped my image with Black Stazon Ink, watercolored them with reinkers then cut them into 1 7/8" squares.  Mat them on a solid piece of cardstock like a window pane.  Just be sure that you keep them in the right sequence before you stick them down.  Been there done that.  Oh No!!!!  Attach a strip at the bottom to hold your card in place.  Decorate as you like.
