Paper Embossed Angel Retired Lists

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Friday. .   OMG it's almost May and you will never guess what I just received in the mail.  I have officially turned in my first Craft Fair app.  Now I have to start planning.  The first one is just before Halloween and that's a good thing.

Back in 2011 I came across a very cute angel over on Vicki Burdick's blog.  Right then I decided it would make a wonderful gift.  She was nice enough to pass along the creator of this little angle and you can find the link here.  Now for a few of the deets.

My little angle is done with Whisper White cardstock.  I used the template provided for her body and wings.  I dressed her up just a tad by using our embossing folder Elegant Bouquet #115964.  My head piece is one of the small (1.1) glass bulbs, I found mine at the M store.  When you visit Carol's site you will see she has designed several different styles.  I chose the one with the feathers.  I thought they gave the angle a little bit more whimsy.  I added a few pretties to her skirt.  Some pearls from our Basic Pearls #119247, and some Dazzeling Diamonds Glitter Glue.  I attached a bow made from Organdy Ribbon with a small pearl.  Her halo is a white pipe cleaner, attached some feathers on her wings and used some silver cord for her hanger.  Don't be intimidated folks she is very easy to put together and you can deocrate her any way your imagination takes you.  To put her together I used a combination of tackie glue and hot glue.  Just be careful with the hot glue.  The angel can pop apart very easily, store it in a good environment, not to hot and not to cold.

I hope you enjoyed todays project.  I have a bunch more to make.  Did you get a chance to browse thru the RETIRED LISTSThere's a lot to take in, so you might need to check it a couple of times.  Quantities are limited on most accessories, so don't delay in placing your orders.  To check out the list once again go to the top of this blog and click on Retired Lists.  Click here to view my very special offer on a FREE CATALOG.
