Christmas Goodies and Stampin’ Up Update

SUO Craft Fair Projects Tags til Christmas Stamp Set Stampinup Up Holiday mini

Hello To Ya All.  .   .  Happy Friday.  Today I have another cute and simplle craft fair project to share with you.  I make these for all kinds of occasions and they always turn out as cute as a bug.

They are Hershey bars wrapped up and decorated with pretty designer paper.  I took a 6 x 6 peice of designer paper (TIP:  Great way to use up retired papers.) and wrapped it around the candy bar.  Be sure and use a strong adhesive like Red Sticky Tape #104294 to make sure they stay closed.  Then decorate them any way you like.  My stamp set is Tags Till Christmas (W120847/C121169), tied a pretty 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Bow and added some jingle bells  for pizzazz.  Easy Peasy!!!

Craft Fair Projects

FREE Big Shot Stampin Up Hostess Promotion Stampin Up Holiday Mini

Hello Foliks. . .  What a beautiful start to a new day here in Missouri.  It's a little chilli with this cold front going thru but the sun is shinning and that's what counts.

Today I have another craft fair project to share with you.  My time for crafting is just about to run out.  My craft fair's this year are Dec 3rd and Dec 10.  They will be here before I know it, so its crunch time baby.

This cute little "Just A Note" coaster idea was found over on Chat's blog MeMyStampsAndI.  I thought what a great idea for my craft fair.  They will make great stocking stuffers, refrig magnets, teacher gifts and secret santa gifts for your office buddies.

I took a 4" square coaster and matted it with a 4" square piece of designer paper.  I rounded off my edges with a sanding block #124304.  I used Tom Boy Glue #110755 as my adhesive.  TIP:  Be sure and put a thin bead of glue as close to the edge of your coaster as you can and zig zag it across the middle.  Remember less is better.  You don't want it running out the edges.  Messy!!!!

I used a medium binder clip and dressed it up a little bit by using a 1.25" x 2 7/8" strip of designer paper.  Use strong adhesive like sticky tape to attach to the binder.  If the strip is too long just take an exacto knive and cut off the extra.  Easy Peasy!!!  Then I stamped a couple of butterflys from Butterfly Prints (W121049/C120738) with the matching punch #119848 in matching colors and adhered them with an extra large glue dot.  If you don't have those you can use tacky glue or a hot glue gun.  Just know that glue gun glue (whoo tongue twister there LOL) is very sensitive to temperatures and can pop off on you at any time.  My cute little sentiment can be found in the Apple Blossoms set but it is retired now.

That's it for me today.  If you have any questions about my projects or need supplies for this Holiday Season please contact me.  I would love to be your Stampin' Up Demonstrator.  You can shop at my On Line Store 24/7 for all of your Stampin' Up supplies.  I even have Gift Certificates for those of you who would like to shop later and fill some of those wish list items.  Sale A Bration is coming !!!!!!!!!

Thanks for dropping by today.  I love sharing and chatting with you.  You are the glue that holds me together.  Have a wonderful stamping day.  Until next time Toodles

Butterfly Prints

SUO Butterfly Prints Stampin' Up FREE Big Shot Stampin' Up Holiday Mini

Hello Folks. . .  Happy Wednesday and welcome back.  Today I have last weeks MOJO Sketch.  I enjoyed this sketch very much.  Of course what can I say, yes I used the beautiful Spice Cake Designer Paper.  OMG

My card base is a 4.25" square.  For my circles I used my nesties, but Stampin' Up has the Circle Scissors Plus #112530.  This handy dandy tool will cut a circle from 1" to 6".  Perfect every time.  The stripped designer paper you see is from the Neutral Designer Series Pack #117154.  The butterfly is from the stamp set Butterfly Prints (W121049/C120738) and punched with the coordinating punch #119848.  My birthday wishes are from the new set Petite Pairs (W122495/C122497) found in the catty on pg 164 and  punched with the Decorative Label Punch #120907.  What a great set, you actually have matching verses, one for the outside and one for the inside.

That's about it folks, this was a great sketch and I enjoyed it thoroughtly.  I would love to be your Stampin' Up Demonstrator, if you would like to make this card and are in need of supplies please take a moment to shop at my On Line Store 24/7 or contact me and I will place the order for you.

Now on to the star of the show.  Even though this has several layers this card could easily be mass produced.  There's no rocket science here just layers.  My colors are Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Shimmery White, and Frostwood Designer Paper Pack.

Layer Sizes:  Whisper White 4.25" Square Base
Cherry Cobbler is 4" Square

My Sentiment is matted on a piece of Cherry Cobbler and nested with a piece of Shimmery White 1/8" smaller.  This layer will depend on the size of your sentiment.

My stamp set is Polar Party (W122675/C122677).  I colored my bear image with Copic Markers and added some Dazzeling Diamonds Glitter Glue.  This item is new and can be found in the Holiday Mini #124117.  My ribbon is also new and can be found in the Holiday Mini Cherry Cobbler Quilted Satin Ribbon #124105.

Using Plaids from Frostwood

Stampin' Up Holiday Mini Frostwood Designer Paper Delicate Doillies

Hello Folks. . . Happy Thursday

First things first I want to wish Kayleigh a Happy Happy 13th Birthday.  Today I will be spending a lot of time getting ready for her special evening.

My card today is a Christmas one, boy it's not that far away, maybe six weeks.  Now is the time to be making your Christmas Card list and gettin' those supplies ready to go.

The card I have to share today is clean and simple using some of our new desiger paper called Frostwood.  I'm a plaid lover so I especially like this designer paper pack.  My card base is Cherry Cobbler matted with Whisper White.  My next layer is Garden Green punched with my fav the Scallop Trim Border Punch and matted with a Houndstooth paper from Frostwood.  Next is another layer of Cherry Cobbler and some more plaid.  My focal poin it a Scallop Circle, pick whatever size you like, I nested it with some circles.  My stamp set is Delicate Doillies (W122590/C122592), boy I bet you are thinking that's not a Christmas set, but it works pretty darn good, don't you think?  It kind of has a quilt look to it so I added some bling for a little pizzazz.  My sentiment is from Petite Pairs (W122495/C122497).  It sure does feel good to have a matching sentiment set.  Now we have words for both the outside and the inside.  Good job Stampin' Up.

Now it's your turn.  I would love to see some of your creations.  I'm always looking for new inspiration.

I hope you enjoyed this down home Christmas Card and that it gets you in the mood to make some of your own.  I would love to be your Stampin' Up Demonstrator, so if you need any supplies or have any questions please contact me.  You can place your orders in my On Line Stampin' Store or I would love to place the order for you.  Just email me with your choices and away we go.

Thanks for stopping in today.  Until next time, have a wonderful stamping day.  Toodles

Now on to my proejct for today.  I'm starting to panic just a little.  I only have one more month to work on my craft fair projects, so you may not hear from me on the ole' blogaroonie everday.  Today I spent some time finishing up my card boxes.  They turned out just lovely.

FREE BIG SHOT Promotion Stampin Ups Holiday Mini Extra $35 in Hostess Cash

This box is rather large and is a great place to organize all your cards.  Or you could also use it as a gift box for someone special at Christmas.  My designer paper is the lovely Spice Cake Designer Series Paper Pack (124003) found in the Holiday Mini.  There is still plenty of time left but remember the Holiday Mini will expire on January 3rd.  I hope you can see it but I made a cute lollie as my center focal point placed on top of the Bigz Top Note Die Cut (113463).  Added a pretty scallop flower using the 2 3/8" Scallop Punch (118874) and a rolled rose flower.  You can Google these names and a couple of videos will come up.  Easy Peasy!!!!  I added some 1 1/4" Choc Chip Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (ties like butter).

I hope you enjoyed peeking at my beautiful gift box.  Now I just need to get busy and make a few more.  I'm finding it still a little hard to focus, but I'm getting there thanks to you guys.

I would love to be your Stampin' Up Demonstrator, so if you are in need of some supplies please take a moment and shop at my  On Line Store 24/7  or contact me and I would love to place an order for you.   Remember you can earn Sandy's Stars too with every $50 order.
