Hello Friends. . . Welcome to the week end. Well today is the last day for you to take advantage of the wonderful products in this years Occasion Mini. I had a great time with all the products especially the Springtime Vintage DP. If you need to stock up now is the time. When your spend $20 you will become eligible to purchase the sneek peek stamp set Four Frames and the Paisley Prints Designer Paper. These products will not be available again until the new catty is released in July.
Today I have a demensional card to share with you using the Four Frames Stamp Set and the Paisley Prints Designer Paper. My card base is Old Olive and is matted with a piece of Pumpkin Pie and Paisley Prints DP. I used the polka dotted frame, it's my favorite and the sentiment is from the retired SAB So Happy For You. Love the font on this one. For my focal point I made two demensional flowers. I have a short tutorial below for you.
Cut a piece of designer paper 5/8" by 12" and score with your scorepal every 1/4"
Accordian fold your paper. This is what it shoud look like.
Now put an strong adhesive on the end of your strip, I used Scor Tape and put your two ends together. Next form your flower and put a little glue in the middle to help support your flower. I like to use our Mono Adhesive. Now that you have it glued you are going to have to hold it together for a little bit and let the glue dry and take hold. For some added support I punched a 3/4" circle and glued that to the back of my flower.
Now I know your head is just full of questions, once you follow these steps everything will fall into place for you, but if you have any questions please let me know. Now for a look at the completed card.

Happy Friday. . . Just a few more hours and you have made it to the week end. Yippie!!!!!! My MOJO has been a little off lately so I went looking for some inspiration. As a demonstrator we receive a monthly magazine and lookie what I found. Today I have a happy card to share with you. My color combo is one that I haven't used of late, I don't know why because Wild Wasabi is a beautiful green. My cardbase is 4 1/4 by 11 scored at 5.5. This particular layout had a little too much negative space for me so I cut another piece of Wild Wasabi at 4 x 5 1/4 and used out Square Lattice Embossing Folder. Just the right touch don't you think. My stamp set is the fabulous Awash With Flowers. I stamped it on Pretty In Pink cardstock with Black Stazon Ink and then sponged with Rich Razzleberry. I cut them out and used a demonsional for the center one. My sentiment comes from Sincere Salutations. My leaves were stamped on Certainly Celery for a little contrast against the Wild Wasabi. Can you see the sparkle on the card. I used a little of our Silver Smooch Spritz. Added a few random buttons for my flower centers and viola' you have a happy card that will put a smile on someone's face. Yippie!!!!
I'm going to make this post a short one. We have to get on over to the hospital. Nothing serious, my son is having some minor surgery to remove a spot on his back. Have a wonderful day and I'll see ya back here tomoroww with another cute card using the Four Frames Stamp Set that we will have to say goodbye to on April 30th. Until tomorrow. Toodles

Good Morning To All. Happy Thursday. Today I have a card to share with you using this weeks MOJO Sketch 188. My color combo is Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Love Letter Designer Paper. Don't you just love polka dots, one of my favs. My stamp set is a new one for me called Sense of Time. My card base is 4.5" square. I embossed my clock face using Craft Basic Black Ink and Black Embossing Pwd. It is stamped on a destressed piece of Very Vanilla using a sponge and Soft Suede. Acutally every piece of paper I used was destressed with Soft Suede. My flowers are from the Level 1 Hostess Set Punch Potpourri. I used a couple of cool tools, the BoHo Blossoms Punch (it matches the flowers) and the Scallop Trim Border. It's so nice to have matching punches, makes things easy peasy. For my pretties I used an Antique Brad and some retired Riding Hood Red ribbon. Now it's your turn, if you would like to order any supplies to case this card please visit my on-line store here.

Happy Wednesday, Welcome to SandiesKorner. Today I would like to share with you a Sneek Peek from the Summer Mini which will go live on May 1st. The stamp set is called Touch Of Kindess. It is a set of nine images and it comes in wood mount or clear mount. You might recognize the card layout, it's called a Joy Fold Card but it is turned on its side. There is a tutorial on Splitcoast if you are not familiar with this type of card layout. My cardbase is Early Expresso and has a piece of desiger paper from the Pawsitively Prints paper pack. My focal point is Poppy Parade matted with So Saffron and a piece of Watercolor Paper. My image is stamped with Black Stazon Ink and I colored my line images with ink refills and an Aqua Painter. My sentiment is from the retired SAB set So Happy For You. I just love the font on this set. So whimsical. Love it!!!! My flower was cut using the Big Shot and the Sizzlets Die Cut Birds & Blooms. I used a random button from my stash. The flower on this type of card is what makes this card uniquel. The flower is there to help keep the card shut, because this style of card is bottom heavy. LOL So make sure that your flower is placed so that you can slip the top of your focal point under it to help keep it closed. I also added a little bling and glitter for some pizzazz. The inside of the card has a place for a verse or a personalized note. If you have any questions please contact me. I'm here to help you with all your shopping needs. Good Morning To All. . . Boy every once in a while you come across an idea that just knocks your socks off. I have a super duper card for you today. I'm using a little punch art today. The idea for the chickadee came from a very talented stamper by the name of Sandi MacIver. I decided to make it a birthday card. My cardbase is a 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 piece of Old Olive, scored at 4 1/4 matted with a piece of Pumpkin Pie Designer Paper. The chickadee is a piece of punch art. That means I used a lot of different punches to make her. She is very simple to make, just pick three scallop circles that will nest nicely together. I sponged around the edges with PP for some depth and stamped a small flower image over her body. Just so so cute. I adhered them together using a large (3D) glue dot. My feet and mouth where punched with the Small Oval Punch. My eyes were punched with the 3/4" circle punch, The yellow lids were punched likewise. The flower comes from the Three Flower Punch, which might be retired, but you can used anything you have on hand. My ribbon (Pink Gingham) is also retired. My sentiment is compter generated and punched with the Large Oval Punch and then the Scallop Oval Punch. This looks complicated but so easy peasy. You much try one.

Hello My Friends. . . Welcome to Wednesday. It's Hump Day, that means we are a little closer to the week end. Are you ready for Easter Sunday. I'm still in the planning stage, going to the grocery store on Thur or Friday. Today I have a card to share using this weeks MOJO Monday Sketch. I used one of our new stamp sets from the Summer Mini. The Summer Mini will go live on May 1st. If you didn't receive a mini please let me know. If you have a relationship with another demonstrator please contact her. My color combo is Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler and Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper. First up, I used the Framed Tulip Embossing Folder on my Baja Breeze piece. Next I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler at 3 x 4" and matted it with a piece from Paisley Petals. My stamp set is Touch of Kindness. It's a set of 9 images with sayings. Cute, Cute. I stamped my image with Black Stazon on Whisper White, used Bashful Blue and Going Gray markers with a blender pen. Be careful the paper will pill if you try to blend too much. I just kind of pitter patter until the hard line of the marker starts to blend. For a little pizzazz I did add some glitter to the water drops. It took it up a notch. Ribbon is the 1/2 Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.

Good Morning My Crafty Friends. . . Welcome to Tuesday. Today I have a technique and a scrapbooking page to share with you. The technique is called Faux Mother of Pearl. The supplies you will need to do this technique are: cardstock color of your choice (I used Rose red), Frost Shimmer Paint #116854, paper plate, and a piece of plastic wrap. I used this technique on my Fun Flower cut out. I cut my cardstock with the Fun Flower Die Cut #121812 first. I felt I had more control of the paint this way, if you are not using an image just size the piece of cardstock that you need. Poor a little of the paint on your paper plate. Crumble the plastic wrap in your hands. Now dip it in your paint and start dabbing onto your cardstock. Keep dabbing until you get the piece to look like you want. Be sure to not cover your whole piece, you want to keep a good balance between the two colors. Viola' you have a Mother of Pearl Fun Flower. The rest of the page is simple. Just divided it into 3's. My color combo is Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Rose Red, Very Vanilla and Springtime Vintage DP. I attached my Fun Flower with the large 3D dots. This gave my flower some depth. I added a button for my center and tied it with some Linen Thread. My ribbon is the Rose Red Seam Binding Ribbon.
This page is one of our Stamp Club pages for this month. I still need to do some cutting so I best skadadal right out of here and get to cuttin'. Thanks for stopping by. If you have any questions on this technique please contact me. I believe splitcoast has a pictorial if you need it. Have a wonderful day.
