Today my card is soft and beautiful and says to me spring is in the air. My color combo is Crumb Cake, a great background color, Whisper White embossed with the Wallpaper Embossing Folder and Pretty In Pink. I did use a technique. It doesn't have a name, but it reminds me of the look of porcelain, soft and delicate. Before embossing with your folder, get out your brayer and ink it up with Crumb Cake or Sahara Sand. Ink the top portion of your embossing folder. The front side that has the Stampin' Up logo on it. Place your cardstock in the folder as you normally would and run it thru the Big Shot. Viola' You have the beautiful look of porcelain. Easy Peasy!!! Just a heads up I would clean my embossing folder with a wet wipe as soon as I am finished with it. Next I cut a strip of Pretty In Pink and used my Scallop Trim Border Punch. My Stamp Set is Easter Blossoms. I hope I have shown you how versatile this Stamp Set can be. It's not just an Easter set.

It's a simple card and packs a WOW punch. The Stamp Set is Easter Blossoms from the Occasion Mini and the color combo is Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Pretty In Pink with a touch of Pear Pizzazz. I used the Tulip Embossing Folder and of course the Scallop Trim Border Punch. Love it!!!!!!! LOL The technique on the Easter eggs is called Wet Embossing. I stamped my image in Versa Mark on DD, BB, and PIP and then sprinkled Winter White Embossing Powder on them. Heated them with my heating tool and viola' you have three great looking Easter eggs. Wouldn't they look cute in a basket of some kind. I'll have to investigate that. Ribbon is our 5/8" Whisper White Satin Ribbon. Easy peasy!!!!

Hello My Craftin' Friends. . . Happy Tuesday!!! Boy oh Boy look at these lucious fabrics I came across the other day. They just arrived at my door. Such pretty pinks, greens, corals, blues and even reds. Such pretty summer colors. They come from an on line store by the name of Sew Lux Fabrics and Gifts. I believe they are out of North Carolina. The fabric line is called Fandango by Kate Spain. Click here to view them. You know what that means, more totes are on their way.
Today I have an awesome card to share. I'm still using the stamp set Easter Blossoms. My color combo turned out very nicely, Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, Not Quite Navy and Springtime Vintage DP. I love this designer paper. If you havn't tried it yet, I highly recommend it. Sale A Bration will be ending in just a few days, but the Occasion Mini will not end till Apr 30th. There's plenty of time to make our Easter Cards for our family and friends. This is a great layout, the little girl silhouette was a perfect fit for this design. I cut three separate panels of NQN at 1 5/8 x 3 3/4". My DP is then cut at 1.5 by 3 5/8". I used my nesties for my circles and the Beautiful Wings Embosslits for just a little more pizzazz. Dressed it up with a little Very Vanilla 5/8" Satin Ribbon and pearls for that feminine touch.

Good Morning My Stamping Friends. Welcome to the week end. While browsing the net the other day I came across some very cute and easy boxes over at Its A Stamp Thing by Viki Burdick. They are made with our Scallop Envelope Die Cut and of course the Big Shot. They are a small box, but holds a big punch. This little box will hold three Hershey's Nuggest.
Here's how you make one. Cut two scallop envelopes from the die with the color of your choosing. Trim your bottom flap to 1/2 inch. Next I adhered my deisnger paper. Attached a brad to the front. I assembled my boxes with some strong tape like Red Sticky Tape or Score Tape. My handle is 1/2" x 8". You have plenty of handle so it can be secured at least half way down your box. Added my nuggets and some crinkled paper made with my Crimper Tool. Viola' you have a very cute gift for someone. I made these boxes for my club members just as a special thank you for all their support.

Hello My Friends. . Are you having a good morning? Sale a Bration will be coming to a close for this year, but I must admit I have truly enjoyed this year. What can I say about Sweet Summer. I think it is my favorite, but So Happy For You is a close second and there free, what's not to like. Today I have a really cute card to share. I was sitting here thinking to myself what colors can I put together. I try to pick my main color and then think about what makes that color. I choose Concord Crush, red and blue make purple, so why not try Marina Mist. It works almost every time. What a stunning color combo, Concord Crush and Marina Mist. Easter will be here before we know it, so I need to start my stash. This little fleur is just so darn stinkin' cute. Hi Everyone. . . Happy Tuesday Morning. I was browsing the web yesterday and came across this lovely card. It was done by Melissa Phillips. She does amazing work. Anyhoo I just loved it and decided to do one of my own. The card itself is called a pocket card. Inside it holds a bunch of goodies. I made a scallop envelope from the Envelope Die cut. I'm going to use it as a gift card holder. There is a video on utube that shows you how to extend your envelope so a gift card will fit. Also inside is a tag die cut and attached to it is a pretty paper rose. The paper rose is made from our exlarge Fancy Flower Punch. There is a video out on utube, just google paper roses and I'm sure you will find it. My color combo is Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Woodland Walk DP. This card could easily be turned into a man card. Just take away some of the frills. If you would like to make this card the recipe is below.
Paper: Crumb Cake #120953, Very Vanilla #101650, Woodland Walk DP #117389
Stamp Set is Cheery Chat (Ret), Tiny Tags #118592

Hello My Friends. Are ya ready to start a brand new week? Today I have a whimsy card for you. I love whimsy myself. My colors are Poppy Parade, Whisper White, and Pawsitively Prints DP. My stamp set is the Level 1 Hostess set in the Occasions Mini. It can be your for FREE, just place an order of $150 or better yet host a workshop with family and friends. (for more info on that contact me) I also stamped the fluer image from the Sweet Summer SAB set onto the bottom of my designer paper. So cute isn't it. I colored in my circles with the White Gel Pen. I like it a lot. My layout is one that I like and use a lot. I colored my flower with a Poppy Red marker and paper pieced the vase. If you're not familiar with paper piecing, it really is easy. Stamp your image on a piece of DP that you like and cut it out. You can cut inside the lines or outside the lines, which ever you like.
Sale A Bration will be coming to a close soon. If you haven't taken advantage of it yet there is still 10 days left. Plently of time to check your wish lists. If you have any questions please drop me a note. I'm here to help with all your shopping needs.
