Fun With Fun Flowers

Stampinup' Up Occasion Mini Sale A Bration

Good News About the Ribbon and Button Share.  I was able to get to the post office yesterday, so you should be receiving you shares by the end of the week.  Thanks again for all of your suppot.  I had a request to do a share for the Pom Pom Trom.  Let me know if you are interested.  Need at least 2 to three people.

Hello My Friends . . .  This is middle USA and I'm posting from Blizzard Central.  If the weathermen are correct we are in for a whale of a blizzard storm today.  Our garage is not attached to the house and there is so much ice out there we can't even get to the car, so I guess we are stuck for a couple of days.  Be careful out there midwesterners.

Woo Hoo there's a new die cut in town.  It''s called Fun Flowers and you can find it in the Occasions Mini on pg 39.  So much fun.  So many ways to play with this combination of flowers (designer papers, embossing folders, scrunching, curling the edges and I'm sure there's much more).  I love this color combo.  It is Crumb Cake,  Peach Parfait, Very Vanilla and Soft Suede.  Just lovely.  I embossed my Crumb Cake cardstock  with the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder (I used the debossing side) and sponged Soft Suede around the edges and towards the middle.  I left part of my middle untouched.  This gives you different levels of shading which I think makes your card pop.  I used my Big Shot and the Fun Flowers Die to make my flower.  Paper is Peach Parfait, Newsprint DP and Soft Suede.  It could even be better if you have textured paper.  I embossed the Peach Parfait and the Soft Suedepetals with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  For the middle section I just scrunched in my hand.  I used a Vintage Button for my flower center.  It was one of our Ribbon and Button Share buttons.  The smallest Crumb Cake one.  The birthday wishes came from the SAB set So Happy For You which by the way you can get for FREE with a $50 order.  I fancied up the inside of my card and the envelope just a tad by using the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder on the inside of my card in Very Vanilla.    This card sketch is right out of our Stampin' Success Magazine which all Demonstrators receive each month.  Just another perk you receive for being a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.

Thanks for stopping by today, if the weathermen are correct we could lose our electricity, so I might be gone for a few days.  At least I hope only for a few days.  If you have any questions about the cards I make here or products that I sell please contact me.  I'm just an email away.  And if you would like to purchase any of the products used in the card please click here to shop in my SU Store.  Also, if there are any cards that you see and would like to purchase please contact me.  Have a great snowman kind of day.  Toodles
