Hi My Crafty Peeps. . . Well you've had a few days to look over the new Occasion Mini. What do ya think? I can't wait to get some new rubber, but I'm just like you, I'm trying to hold off till Sale A Bration. For you newbies, Sale a Bration is the most anticipated event of the Stampin' Up year. For every $50 you spend you can choose any one product in the Sale A Bration Mini for FREE. Be sure and check out the back page, just like last year there is a whole selection of stamp sets from the catalog that you can order. Don't miss out.
Just like I promised I have a great looking card to share with you today. I just love florals. I'm such a girly girl. LOL OMG I was going to tell you what page you could find it on and I can't find it. Isn't it funny that when you see something you really like you can remember it. I know I saw it somewhere. Oh, well It will pop out at me when I'm not looking for. It is simplier than it looks. All you need is a Scallop Circle Punch and a 1 3/4" Circle Punch. Let me try and explain it. Pick you a desinger paper that you just love and has some contrast. I've got some pictures below. I hope this helps.
Puch 4 scallop circles with your scallop circle punch
Cut your scallops in half. There should be seven scallops on each side
Now fold over the first three scallops, turn over and match the
last two scallops. You will have one scallop left, fold it over.
Fold all eight pieces. Punch a 1 3/4" circle as your base for
the flower. I folded the circle in half and then half again to help
me mark my center. I then took a punch and punched my hole.
Start assembling your flower. I placed my first one at 12 o'clock then at
3 o'clock and filled in my circle. Attach a brad in the center and
it all comes together.
I hope this helps, I know you will make a beautiful flower. If you have any questions please contact me. Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget about my Ribbon Share and 2011 Magnetic Calendars. Have a great day. Toodles
