Good Morning To Everyone – Well it's back, the start of a new week. We had a chilly week end here in MO. The cool crisp air made me think about fall. So today my card to share with you is a fall one. The sketch is last weeks MOJO Monday sketch. Just a tad late but I thought you would enjoy it anyway. I'm just loving the new In-Color Concord Crush #119792. It is such a stunning color and makes for a great card base. I topped it with a piece of Very Vanilla #101650. I stamped my own background piece using the stamp set Falling Leaves #115368. I love the plaid, striped, and polka dot leaves. A touch of whimsy. My colors are Pumpkin Pie #105216. Concord Crush #119785, Pear Pizzazz #119784 and Cajun Craze #119671. I know that's a lot of colors, but it does give it a designer paper look. I also used the stamp called Itty Bittys, it is retired now, but a great substitute would be the Color Spritzer Tool #107066 and markers of your choice. I guess I'm going to have to break down and get that now that Itty Bittys is gone. I added a strip down the side using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder #119976 and added a strip of Concord Crush using one of our new punches the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch #119275. For my focal point I used a piece of Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla. I stamped the Thaksgiving sentiment from Falling Leaves set. My little circle is stamped with the acorn and is stamped in Concord Crush, punched with the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches #119861/119860. Added some Concord Crush Ribbon #119266 and a few random buttons to finish it off. This was a great sketch and I'll have to use it again. It worked so well with this set.

Hello Friends – Oh, Oh do I have a cutie for you today. I used this layout a couple of days ago on a Christmas Card for you and I liked it so much I thought I would try it with butterflies. Butterflies are sooooo pretty and Stampin' Up has several sets for you to choose from. For today I used the set called Butterfly Prints #120738. It's a small set and reasonably priced only $12.95. My cardstock today is Not Quite Navy #101722. I find this color to be a great cardbase because it coordinates so well with many of our other colors. I matted it with a pieces from Blueberry Crisp #117392 and cut 3/4" strips from some of the other patterns in the designer pack. On my last strip I added a piece of Very Vanilla #101650 and used one of my favorite punches the Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402. I can't express enough how important your tools are to your cardmaking. Besides making it quick and easy, the proper tools make your card look professional. For my focal point I used the Scallop #2 die cut #113469. It nests perfectly with a 3" circle which you can get in a snap using the Circle Scissors Plus and Glass Mat #112530/112531. My sentiment is a new one for me, don't you just love it. It's called a Word For You #120528. I love the font. For some embellishing I used the paper piercing tool and mat pack #116631/105826. I go to these tools time after time to add some depth and dimension. Mounted it on some Stampin' Up Dimensionals. I thought my Vanilla circle needed a little something so I doodled around it the a Not Quite Navy marker using the small end. I do this alot because of course you can't have a naked circle. LOL Added some pearls and viola' you have a perfect card for any occasion. Oh, and don't forget the inside, I added another piece of Very Vanilla and used one of my favorite sets Curly Cute for my happy birthday. Be sure and check out Curly Cute, I just love the font and all the cute swirls. It just makes me smile.

Happy Friday My Crafty Friends – I hope your day has started with a bang!!!!! Jason is doing fine, he had his surgery yesterday and will probably come home today. Today's sketch is a great one. I got it from the Paper Pals Art Design Team. For my cardbase I used Riding Hood Red #111348. I just love the color red and we have three great reds for you to choose from (Riding Hood Red, Cherry Cobbler and Poppy Parade). My designer paper is from Love Letter. You can find it on pg 173 of the catty #117162. It has some great graphic designs in it, not only for cardmaking but scrapbooking too. My next layer is Basic Black #121045. matted with another piece of Love Letter #117162. My focal point is Very Vanilla #101650. I'm featuring the Hostess Level One Stamp Set Afterthoughts #120121. You can receive this set for free by hostessing a Workshop of $150 or more. If your short on words, this set is for you. Of course we had to embellish just a little bit. I used the Trio Flower Punch and I'm looking at the catty now and can't find it, so it must be retired. I'm sorry about that. I use that punch all the time, but you can replace that with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch #118309 and use our new clear Bitty Buttons #118761. That's one of the great things about Stampin' Up, they have coordinated their products beautifully. If you don't have it on hand, there is always something else you can use. For some added punch I used the 1/4" Grosgrain Very Vanilla #109026 ribbon.

Hi Everyone – Well, I have hit a bump in the road, as life sometimes like to do. I have spent all day yesterday at the hospital. My son Jason has had an unexpected gallbadder attack and will most likely have surgery in the next few days, so my post will be short. I have been feverishly working on my craft fair items and I thought it would be a nice touch, as a secret santa or teacher gift, to make a Christmas Card and Notepad to match. Today I would like to share them with you. If you would like for me to customize a gift set for you just let me know what you have in mind. Thanks for stopping in today, don't be surprised if you don't hear from me for a couple of days. I hope you have a wonderful day ahead of you and you get some time to stamp. Remember, it's always nice to put a smile on someone's face. Toodles

Hello Friends – Happy Monday To Ya. Consider this cased. I was browsing thru some of my favorite blogs this week end and came across this gorgeous card over on Gretchen Barron's site here. I changed up my colors and made my cardbase Early Expresso #119686. What a lovely neutral this has become. My next layer is So Saffron #105118. I punched a piece of Regal Rose #105130 with the Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402 and attached a piece of Whisper White #100730 embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder #120175. My Stamp Set is Just Believe #120453 and I used markers to color my image. I added the sentiment from the same set, punched with our Word Window Punch #119857 and the Modern Label Punch #119849. My ribbon is the 5/8" Satin Old Olive Ribbon #117292. You will just love this ribbon it ties like butter. TIP: When I use a dark color for my card base I always add a piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla to the inside of my card. This makes the inside of your card more finished but it is also easy on the recipients eyes. I hope you enjoy the card for today and if you have any questions please let me know. I'm here to help. Hello Everyone – Happy Saturday. Today I thought I would give you a little break from Halloween and Christmas Cards and give you some Coffee In Your Cup. Today I would like to share with you a simple card using the single stamp called Tiny Cup #118086. This year Stampin' Up has expanded on making available quite a few affordable single sets to choose from. They are located on pgs 18, 19 and 20 of your catty. If you looking for a single image be sure and check them out, they are very affordable. A while back I shared with you this same color combo and I liked it so much I thought I would try another one. The cardbase is Not Quite Navy #101722, matted with a piece of Crumb Cake #121030. (I'm still not used to the new color name for Kraft, are you?) I used our Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder #117335 just for a little texture and depth. Topped that off with a piece of Whisper White #100730 and matted with a piece of olive green polka dot dp from Jolly Holiday #117159. I know it's supposed to be Christmas paper but it fit very well. I used our Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402 to add some softness. Just love that punch, can't get enough of it. Down at the bottom I tried something new, aleast for me it was new. I tried to ruffle my 3/8" Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon #119767. I think that is still a work in progress. LOL I used my new die cut Lots of Tags #114508 and stamped the sentiment from Morning Cup #120489. This is a great card to send to a friend that needs a little pick me up. LOL

Hello My Crafy Friends – It's so nice of you to stop by on this crisp Friday morning. Last night I was able to do a quick card to share with you using this weeks MOJO Monday Sketch #156. It's an easy and quick sketch and the best part about it, it lets you use up some of those pesky scraps that seem to gather all over you desk top. I know it sure does mine. My scraps seemed to take on a Christmas flair. My scraps measure approx 3/4" wide x 5 3/8" long. I used the Jolly Holiday designer paper pack #117159. I just love this pack of paper the reds and greens just puts me in the Christmas spirit plus they are some of my favorite colors anyway. I usued four of those strips and then I put a strip of Very Vanilla #101650 and used one of my favorite border punches the Scallop Trim Border Punch #108402. Just love it!!!!!!!!! For my focal point I used the every so cute stamp set Christmas Classics #111566. I have been eyeing the jingle all the way saying now for several years, and by golly I used it this year. Yippie!!!!!!! I stamped it with the beautiful Cherry Cobbler Ink #119669. This color is a must have in your stash. I also used the new 1/2" seam binding ribbon Cherry Cobbler #120992. You can find that in the Holiday Mini on pg 21 along with some other trims and glitter. Last but not least I also used some bling to make my card sparkle. We love sparkle. Well, I need to scurry on here. I don't have a card for tomorrow yet so I need to put my thinking cap on. Thanks for stopping by today and spending some time with me. I'll see ya back here tomorrow. Have a wonderful rest of your day. Toodles
