Hello Friends – Welcome to SandiesKorner.  Today I have a new technique for you to try plus I have used the Sweet Sundays Sketch design as well.   I have been surfing the net and came across this technique from Splitcoaststampers by Joan Ervin.  It's called the plaid technique.  It is a simple technique and works best with a background stamp (that's a stamp that will give you a solid impression), so I  used my set Awash With Flowers #120459.  My cardstock is Cajun Craze #119684.  I matted a piece of Whisper White #100730 punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402 topped off with a piece of Daffodil Delight #119683 embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder #119976.  My strip of designer paper is from Sunny Garden #119831.  My sentiment comes from Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370.  OMG what would I do without that set. 

My image was stamped in Daffodil Delight ink  #119667.  Make sure it is stamped really well.  Then I took my stamp pad Tangerine Tango #111834 and just ran the raised edges across my image left to right and then right to left.  You don't want a heavy hand or you will cover your whole image and you just want to have streaks just like a plaid piece of material or paper.  For some simple detail I added some random buttons and put a little bling on my flower.  Easy Peasy.  Don't you just love it!!!!!!!!!
