Trendy Trees

March 4th, 2010 , No Comments »

Hello everyone -  I was sitting in my craft room yesterday afternoon trying to make a card from the set Trendy Trees.  The card I finished with is nothing like the idea I started out with.  Does that happen to you?  Oh my,  I wanted to use the top note die cut as my mat for my trendy trees and it just wasn't working.  I love my trees but you have to use a Stamp A Ma Jig and then it can still be a challenge.  So here it is, what do you think?  The card base is standard A2 size (5.5 x 8.5) of Taken With Teal, matted with Old Olive and the Sweet Pea Deisnger Paper.  Oh, I love that paper pack, so cute!!!   After stamping them on the top note die I cut them out and used the Scallop Trim Border on the top and matted them with another piece of Old Olive and Taken With Teal.  I added my Pretty In Pink Ribbon for a little pizazzzzz.  Inked up Teeny Tiny Wishes for my sentiment.  TIP:  Change out the ribbon color and you have a masculine card.  Viola'

Thanks for stopping in today.  I have a full day, I'm still working on my totes.  I'm making two for the girls and a friend is coming by to color.  We are going to practice coloring with our Prisma Color Pencils and Gamosol.  Have a wonderful day, see ya tomorrow.  Toodles
