Hello Friends – Happy Saturday.  We lucked out with the snow yesterday didn't we.  We'll send an extra blessing to those poor folks on the east coast.  There's a lot of snow there.  My friends came over last night and we had a great time.  They made Valentinie's cards and they turned out soooooo cute.  Thank you Debbie, Sue and Suzie for the great evening and for the Valentine Card.  You guys have really taken your design work and moved it up a notch.  Congrats!!!!!!!!    Today I'm sharing another Valentine's Day card.  We are on the countdown now.  The set I used today is A Happy Heart (111758).  I gave it a little extra pop by embossing it in red.  My supply list is below.

1. Card base is Real Red cut at 4.25 x 11", scored at 5.5"
2. Stamp Set – a Happy Heart (111758)
3. Second Mat is Basic Black cut at 4 x 5.25
4. Focal Point - Pretty in Pink cut at 2.5 x 3.5, Pinked on one side with the Pinking Heart border punch (117649) Whisper White cut to 2 1/8 x 3 3/8", PIP 2.25" square pinked again with the Pinking Heart Punch, Real Red 2" sq.  I used 2 of the expoy heart brads (117270).  My flower and heart are both embossed with Craft Real Red Pigment Ink (101190) and embossed with Clear Embossing Pwd (109130) and heated with the Heat Gun (100005).  TIP:  When embossing it is alway a good idea to use your embossing buddy (103083) before you stamp your image.  This helps prevent any small paticles from sticking on your paper. And last but not least PIP Satin Ribbon (117289)  Have Fun!!!!!!!!!

Hello Friends and welcome to your week end.  Are you getting ready for the big game?  I totally forgot that it was this week end.  Oh no!!!!!!  Maybe you can ask a few friends over and you can do some stamping while the guys watch the big game.  Just as promised, today I'm sharing with you my take on this weeks MOJO Monday sketch.  I enjoy doing these sketeches because half of the work is done for you.  I choose to work with the new stamp set called With All My Heart (118623) in the Occasions Mini.  I stamped my own background DP in Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Barely Banana.  As my stamp club bubbies will tell you I always reach back for one of my all time favs stamp set called Itty Bitty Backgrounds (114996),  I can't tell you how many times I have used this stamp.  It does wonders in achieving that designer paper look.  Love it!!!!!!  I also pulled together again the purple/yellow color combo that will be very popular this spring.  I need to get a crackin', I'm having some friends over tonight and we are going to make some Valentine's Day cards.  I sure hope the weather doesn't get in the way.  The weatherman is telling us we are under a snow storm watch and will more than likely see some snow.  I sure was hopin' we were past that, but I guess I was dreamin'.  It's only February right.  Thanks for stopping by today and I'll be back tomorrow with a new Valentine's Day card.  Be safe out there is week end.  Toodles

 Good Morning Friends – Happy Tuesday how are you all doing today?  It's a little dreary here today, but I'm going to have a fun fun day stamping.  I hope to get my mojo jump started.  Today I have a super duper card for you.  In our Stamping Success magazine this month they recommed at color combo that will put a spark in your step and can't wait for spring.  It's called the purple yellow craze and it is going to be everywhere from fashion to home decor.  My stamp set is Garden From the Heart (118568) and Well Scripted (118601) both from the Occasion Mini.  Delightful!!!!!!   Have you been practicing on your scallop squares?  Today I used a 3.25" sq.  TIP:  This is the easiest size to use because you only need to punch one time on each side.  Begin with your corners first and then line it up on your border punch and surprise a perfect scallop square.  You will have a total of seven (7) scallops.  A great size to practice on.  Don't give up, you can do it.  For another peak you can see a great tutorial on Gretchen Barron's website.  Thanks Gretchen for all the math stuff.  Supplie List below.  Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful day.  Toodles

3. Third layer is Tea Party DP (113992) at 3.75 x 2.5
4. Fourth Layer is 3.25 square of Rich Razzleberry and  a 2 5/8" sq of Whisper White (100730)
5. Stamp Set is Garden From The Heart (118568) and Well Scripted (118601).  I first positioned my hat and stamped it with Black Stazon (101406) , then stamped it again on watercolor paper and used my blender pen.  Cut it out and adhered it to my card.  The ribbon on the hat was paper pieced from a scrap of Tea Party DP (113992) and glued on with just a tad of Tomboy Multi Glue (110755)

Hello Friends -How was your week end?  We had a great week end here.  The weather was cold but the sunshine was sooooooo nice.  Love it!!!!   Just want to take a moment and thank everyone for their orders.  Awesome.  I still have a few Valentine's Fabric Pins available.  Valentine's Day will be here before we know it.  Just 13 days– are you ready?  Todays card is from a scketch challenge that was sponsered by Gretchen Barron.  Thanks Gretchen, lovely job.  I used some of my retired DP.  It's not too old, I'm sure you will remember it Parisian Breeze.  It was one of the new speicality papers.  The texture reminds me of watercolor paper.  Do your remember now?  I received some new rubber on Friday afternoon.  Garden From the Heart.  Lovely set, You will be seeing alot of it for some spring inspiration.
