A Whimsy Split Negative

December 16th, 2009 , 1 Comment »

Good Morning Everyone, Happy Wednesday.  8 days awaiting for our man in the red suit. Are you ready??????? Christmas can bring a lot of joy if we let it.  Remember back when I shared the black and white split negative card with you.  Well I tried it again but with different colors.  How do you like it?  This one turned a bit whismy, but you know how I like whimsy.  For my two main stage colors I used Rich Razzleberry and Pretty In Pink. with a Basic Black Mat.  SU Garden Whimsy Split NegativeThe striped paper is from Cottage Wall, one of my favs, and the spotted pink is from Tea Party.  For us pink lovers I think SU is missing the boat.  The only polka dot swiss pink paper (wow a lot of words there)  that I can remember is a 6 x 6 pack that I think was a level 1 hostess pick.  Oh well, I'm still waiting in anticipation.  LOL  For the circle use your Circle Scissors Plus and for the Scallop use the Scallop Circle #2 Big Shot Bigz die.  For the embosssing I did use versa mark for my image and then quickly stamped it in Rich Razzleberry and then embossed with clear embossing pwd.  (Don't forget to use your embossing buddy) On the other half I used some pink embossing pwd that SU discountinued some time ago.  Especially check out the sentiment.  I punched with the Modern Label twice and put them back together.  Just like Humpty Dumpty.  I'm so funny today, what's gotten into me.  LOL   You'all know the specials, I won't list then again and again.  Thanks for stopping by today, have a fun and safe day.  See Ya Tomorrow.  Toodles.
