Delightful Decoration – Split Negative
OMG Happy Saturday Everyone. Welcome to the week-end. I so excited today to share my project with you. I’m very lucky to be able to stamp almost every day, but some days are just dynamite. I was browsing thru the net as I always do for inspiration and found a video called Split Negative over at GinaK’s site. OMG what a statement it can make. I am always looking for gift ideas and paper gift bags are somewhat of a struggle for me. They don’t stamp well, so you need to cover them. When you need a lot of them say Christmas Time, DP becomes an issue. You need a lot of it. Anyhoo, I cut down a white paper lunch bag to 5 inches and went from there. It looks intimidating but don’t let it fool you. Easy peasy, just do it. LOL Recipe Card below. Sitting here looking outside it looks like it is going to be a very nice day, so I’m hoping today will be my last day blowing leaveas around the yard. It’s takes a while but sure looks nice afterwards. I compare it to sweeping the rugs. You have to get every little leaf. I never realized I am so controling. These last 10 years of not working in the workplace sure does open up your eyes about yourself. Beware your time is coming. LOL Don’t forget about the blog candy. Winner on Monday. 40 days till santa comes to visit. Take a moment this week-end and consider Stampin’ Up for some of your gifts this year. We have lots of gifts for that special someone. Have a great week-end, I’ll see you on Monday. Thanks for stopping by. Toodles

Recipe
- My base is a white lunch bag trimmed down to 5 inches
- Card Stock – Brushed Gold, Basic Black and Very Vanilla
- Stamp Set – Delightful Decorations (Holiday Mini) #116517
- Accessories – Ornament Punch #116794, Black and Gold Embossing Pwd, Embossing Buddy, Versamark, Stamp A Ma Jig, Gold Cord (Hoiday Mini) #109867, I used my nestie circle (The Scissors Plus a great tool for this) 1 1/4 Striped Black Ribbon #115615
Tip: The focal point on my bag is actually a 4 1/4 sq. card. When you make the split negative you will have two completed images. One for a card and one for a tag. When I went to put the tag on it, it just didn’t look right. (too much) Just play with it, if you’re looking for a very dramatic look, here it is. Oh so pretty. Email me if you need any help. The video is at GinaK’s site. Happy Stamping
