Great Friend Double Pocket Card

Happy Saturday To You All.  It is raining here.  I gues we could use it but you must admit it is rotten timing.  Todays card is a Double Pocket Card.  I worked most of Friday afternoon on it.  SCS has a tutorial if you would like to view it.  It looks hard but it really isn’t.  You make it what you want.  I will say one thing it’s one of those cards that its hard to stop on.  It’s like the ever ready bunny, It can go on and on and on.  Am I telling my age or what.  LOL  My first instinct was to use butterflies but I keep telling myself to use something different for you guys.  So I chose to use my Big Shot Die  Daisies #2.  #114520 on pg 199.  I used DP Bella Bleu #113974.  TIP:  Great paper for that vintage look.  I have about six layers of DP.  I just alternated the two sides and glued then together with Multi Liquid Glue, glued a blue center and then a Pearl from our Pretties Kit #109114.  For my first pockect i used Stamp Set is True Friend #113792.

Card Base is Ballet Blue.  Use Bording or Brocade if you have it, matted with Choc Chip and DP bella Bleu.  For my second pocket I want to put a Ghirardelli Carmel Square in it.  It will fit just right.  My flower is matted on a 1 3/4" Choc Chip Circle Punch and then I used a scalloped nestie in Very Vanilla.  Pierced the scallop with a piercing tool.  Very Vanilla Ribbon.  For my corner I used the small piece from the Photo Corners Punch #109042 and add small pearls from the pretties kit.  I think that’s all.  Email me if you have any questions.  Sit down this week end and see what you come up with.  I’d love to see it.  Have a great weekend, get some stamping in, check out that Holiday Mini and I’ll see you back on Monday. Sweet Centers – Halloween

Hi Everyione.  Are you gearing up for a big week-end?  We don’t have any big plans.  The kids are going to the lake so I guess me and hubby will BBQ one day.  And guess what I will get to stamp some,  Maybe even get ahead a little bit.  LOL  I didn’t get to stamp today.  I never realized how much time it would take to manage and learn how to blog.  Whew!  But things are coming along.  Let me introduce you to Sweet Centers.  It is in the Holiday Mini #116521 pg 6.

                                             Sweet Centers - Halloween

This set is really cute and it is geared for the holidays. You can purchase this set for only $10 when you book a workshop for $250.  This is the Sept. Hostess Special.  Click here to view Stampin’ Ups promotions for the month.  This does not include the Digital Studio or hostess sets.   Regular hostess benefits will apply.  Email me today to schedule your workshop and receive this special offer. Now for the deets.  The card stock is Dusty Durango, matted with Basic Black and Whisper White.  I stamped my own background with the pumpkin in Batty for You #116576.  I often make my own background paper when I don’t have something just right.  The focal point is matted in Basic Black, Crushed Curry and DP from Razzleberry Lemonade #115675.  I punched the center out with the 1 3/4" punch and added one of SU’s Sweet Treat Cups also on pg 6 of the mini.  Fill it with something special (candy).  It has adhesive already on it so it is easy to use.  Sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes #115370.  Ribbon is Dusty Durango.  Hope you enjoyed the card, I know I had fun making it.  Have a great week-end.  Take a little stress out of your life and do a little stamping this long week-end. Send a card and make someone’s day.  TFL Toodles

Medallion

Hi everyone, I’m posting this late on Wednesday night.  I’m a little hiped up.  I just got back from my grandaugther’s softball game and WOW what a game.  I just have to say I am so proud of her.  She is one of the team’s pitchers and has had a excellent year.  She can throw a softball pitch at 47 mph.  That’s pretty fast for a 12 yr old.  She pitched against a tough opponent tonight.  This ones for you Korts – Congratulations.  Now on to the deets.  Todays card I used the Medallion stamp.

It is in the background section of your catty.  #115223.  This is Stampin’ Ups #1 selling stamp at this time.  Card stock is Rich Razzleberry, matted with Whisper White.  Ink is Melon Mambo.  There is a designer brad (filgree) #112577 and a rhinestone brad # 109110 (Circle Fire) on page 179 in the middle of the medallion. For the sentiment I used set Oval All #113790 stamped in RR ink.  I used a Pretty in Pink marker to color the flower.  Punched with the Large Oval Punch #107305 and the Scallop Oval Punch #114889.  You can’t go wrong with punches, perfect every time.  RR Ribbon to give it a little pizzazz!!!!!

There is a Fall Hostess Promotion going on you don’t want to miss.  Check out my sidebar for the fine details.  When you host a $250 workshop you can select any one item from the Holiday Mini for $10 (except My Ditigal Studio and the hostess sets).  Email me and set up your workshop today and receive free stamps and merchandise

Party Hearty Balloons

Well it’s Wednesday and surprise surpise I did get something done from my to do list. I trimmed bushes.  They should be good till spring.  Todays card could be considered masculine.  I have a hard time with these, I seem to make grirly girl cards.  Oh well, it just works out that way.  LOL  Card stock is Sahara Sand, matted with Thoroughly Modern DP #115692.  Stamp set is Party Hearty, a great b/d set #111618.

I paper pieced the balloons and used my nesties.  For the sentiment I used Happy Everything #115235 and embossed it with Natural White and Craft Whisper White ink.  Soft Suede ribbon.  TIP:  The In-Color ribbons are reversible.  Great bargin, two for one.  Hope you got a chance to look at the Holiday Mini today.  If not check out my sidebard or click here to view .  Have a great day and TFL  Toodles

Todays card is gorgus if I do say so myself.  LOL  The stamp set Friends 24-7 #113218 is a popular one.  Card stock is Soft Suede, matted with Very Vanilla, Choc Chip and Designer Series paper So Saffron.  I stamped the medallion from the set with Soft Suede.  TIP:  For a softer look ink your stamp and then on scrap paper stamp it off once.  Lightly sponged edeges with Soft Suede.

I was going for that vintage look again.  How did I do?  The bird is Soft Suede as well.  Used my nesties for the circle and scollops.   This same look can be achieved with the Circle Scissors Plus and die cuts on your Big Shot.  The scallop edge was punched with the Eyelet Border Punch #113692.  Have a great Tuesday and TFL.  I appreciate all your support.  Toodles
