Stampin’ Ups New Feature – Clearance Rack

WHOW!  Two posts in one day.   Stampin’ Up! has launched a new Clearance Rack section of their on-line shopping store.  All items are retired or discontinued and most clearance rack products are marked at substantially reduced prices.  This is not a short term promotion but rather a regular Stampin’ Up! feature.  Items will change continuously and sell out quickly so it’s always a hot spot to stop when you are ordering on-line.  You can check out this new feature here at my SU website.

To check out this new feature click here and go to the Shop Now Button

  • Look for CLEARANCE RACK on the left side bar of the on-line store

Have fun shopping and maybe you will find something that you have wanted for a long time.

Whimsy Holiday Lineup

Holiday LineupHey Everyone.  Did you have a nice day?  We finished up our stamp a stack today.  Now I need to put my thinking cap on and come up with some new designs for stamp club.  Today’s card has a whisical touch to it.  Last year a Stamp set called Holiday Lineup was very popular.  You saw all kinds of designs with the reindeer and snowman sets but I didn’t see too many of the elfves.  So this year I decided to use the elfves as my focal point.  For my sentiment I really wanted the word Believe to go under them, but Stampin’ Up does not have a stamp like that, so I decided to use Sparkly and Bright because it was alreay on my desk.  I hope you enjoy it.  Stamp set is Holiday Lineup #111648.  I thought that it should have a manly touch and what else give that manly feel and stripes, so I used DP from the Cottage Wall paper pack.  I colored my image with markers and a blender pen.  Using the blender pen gives you a lot of control when you’re trying to achieve shading.  When I use the blender pen I stamp my image in Stazon on watercolor paper.  This prevents any beading/peeling of your paper.  You can use Whisper White but you have to be very careful.  I used the 1 3/4" punch for the elfves and the nesties for my scallops.  And I will decorate the inside with a matted piece of whisper white, maybe some more ribbon and a few more embellishements.  Detail is the key to make a good card a great card.  Put a smile on someone’s face tomorrow and send them a handcraft card just for them.  I appreciate all of your support and I hope I can help you with all of your shopping needs.  Have a great day.  Thanks for stopping by and I will see you tomorrow.  Toodles
