Happy Wednesday. I had to go back in the archives for this one. It is one that we made at one of our stamp club workshops. Cardstock is Mellow Moss, matted with DP Afternoon Tea (Retired). Stamp set is Inspired by Nature #111656. I stamped the grass in Mellow Moss and the coneflowers in Rose Red. I used the Kissing technique. What’s that you say. Ink your stamp in your main color, then roll the edges in a contrasting color. Here I used Choc Chip. Then I took the Sanded Background stamp #109294 on page 134 of your catty and stamped over my images. Sentiment is from Thoughts & Prayers #113252. Stamped in Rose Red ink, punched with the large oval punch #107305. Punched the background in Choc Chip with the Scallop Oval Punch #114889.
I hope you got to take a peek at my second post yesterday. If not check it out here. Stampin’ Up launched a new feature today called the Clearence Rack. Be sure and check out my post for all the details.
Well there’s only one more day to wait and My Digital Studio will be launched. It’s just not for scrapbookers. You will be able to create artwork, colors and accessory images found in the current catty. You will be able to create assorted photo albums, calendars, cards and even personalized books when you have it printed in SU’s state of the art facility. Check pg 30 of the Holiday Mini for any details I may have left out. and remember

WHOW! Two posts in one day. Stampin’ Up! has launched a new Clearance Rack section of their on-line shopping store. All items are retired or discontinued and most clearance rack products are marked at substantially reduced prices. This is not a short term promotion but rather a regular Stampin’ Up! feature. Items will change continuously and sell out quickly so it’s always a hot spot to stop when you are ordering on-line. You can check out this new feature here at my SU website.
To check out this new feature click here and go to the Shop Now Button
- Look for CLEARANCE RACK on the left side bar of the on-line store
Have fun shopping and maybe you will find something that you have wanted for a long time.
Hey Everyone. Did you have a nice day? We finished up our stamp a stack today. Now I need to put my thinking cap on and come up with some new designs for stamp club. Today’s card has a whisical touch to it. Last year a Stamp set called Holiday Lineup was very popular. You saw all kinds of designs with the reindeer and snowman sets but I didn’t see too many of the elfves. So this year I decided to use the elfves as my focal point. For my sentiment I really wanted the word Believe to go under them, but Stampin’ Up does not have a stamp like that, so I decided to use Sparkly and Bright because it was alreay on my desk. I hope you enjoy it. Stamp set is Holiday Lineup #111648. I thought that it should have a manly touch and what else give that manly feel and stripes, so I used DP from the Cottage Wall paper pack. I colored my image with markers and a blender pen. Using the blender pen gives you a lot of control when you’re trying to achieve shading. When I use the blender pen I stamp my image in Stazon on watercolor paper. This prevents any beading/peeling of your paper. You can use Whisper White but you have to be very careful. I used the 1 3/4" punch for the elfves and the nesties for my scallops. And I will decorate the inside with a matted piece of whisper white, maybe some more ribbon and a few more embellishements. Detail is the key to make a good card a great card. Put a smile on someone’s face tomorrow and send them a handcraft card just for them. I appreciate all of your support and I hope I can help you with all of your shopping needs. Have a great day. Thanks for stopping by and I will see you tomorrow. Toodles

Happy Monday. We had a beautiful day here Sunday. A little cool in the morning but warmed up nicely in the afternoon. My Stamp A Stack went very nicely. I think everyone enjoyed the cards and it didn’t take them a long time to complete them. Today I am sharing with you one of my door prizes. I used my Big Shot and one of the Bigz xl dies to make this darling treat box. It is the Box #2 die on pg 201 of your catty. It will hold three or four Ghirardelli chocolates. It would make a great Secret Santa gift for someone special.
I will be working on my Christmas Stamp A Stack next plus my montly workshop. Stay tuned. If everything goes right I will be offering a Christmas Card Kit with two designs. The kit will consist of enough supplies for you to make twelve cards (6 each) for $15.00. I will get more details to you soon. Thanks for taking the time to stop by. I will see you tomorrow. Good Morning To All. This was an attendance prize for my Stamp A Stack last night. Everyone got their 20 cards completed. We had a fun evening. This is a card box holder. It can hold up to 5 cards plus envelopes. I got the template from Dawns Stamping Thoughts. Cardstock is an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of Choc Chip. Matted with Regal Rose and punched with Martha Stewarts Lace Punch. DP is Pretty In Pink from one of our 6 x 6 Level One Hostess Sets. Stamp set is Great Friend . One butterfly was stamped on the whisper white piece and the other was cut out. For you is stamped in Choc Chip and punched with the large oval punch and matted with choc chip using the Scallop Oval Punch. It turned out very pretty and Debbie was thrilled her name was picked. I’m going to try and get some more stamping done and clean up from last night. I wil try and post a picture of the box template for you. You have a nice day. Take care. TFL Toodles

Hi Everyone. Here it is again. Do you every tell yourself that you don’t have enough stamps. Whoa!!! Well I am having that dilemma. I have lots of stamps but I am in a rut right now and am having another brain freeze. Oh well, it will thaw soon I hope. Today is the day for the Stamps a Stack so I’m going to make this short. Once again I used the pincone stamp from Autumn Days. (I just like that stamp) I had the Bella Blrds DP (retired) out on my desk, so I used that along with Soft Suede and Bordering Blue cardstock. I think you can take it from there. Have a great day TFL Toodles

OMG – I’m so excited. My new look has finally arrived. Let’s give a big round of applause to Michelle at Laycock Designs for the banner and buttons and to Amy Celona for the initial website installation and webstie guru. I have been cutting paper for several days now and I think I just about have it completed. Today I have a few errands and some cleaning to do but I did do a little stamping yesterday. I used the stamp set Friends 24/7 #113218. Cardstock is So Saffron, matted with DP Bella Birds (unfortunately retired). The image is the medallion and the sentiment is from the set as well. I used a Sizzlet Die with my Big Shot called Swirls Scribble #113441. Added a little sponging for the well worn look. I wanted something a little different so I used the lace punch from Martha Stewart and a few nail brads.

Hi To All. Had a full day today. I went to get my hair cut today. Boy, doesn’t that make you feel good. It’s like being refreshed every 6 weeks. LOL I’m just about done cutting paper for my Stamp A Stack. Now the next few days I need to be cleaning and of course making cards. I try to work ahead over the week-ends and this is the last card that I have. I’ll have to be scouting around for some layouts. The stamp set I used is called Wandering Words #116507 and you can find it in the Holiday Mini on pg 16. Click here for a quick look see. I made a Thanksgiving card just using the fall leaves and words. I made my own background using Creamy Carmel and inking it with the leaf from the set. Cardstock is Soft Suede, matted with Very Vanilla and Ruby Red. I used the Scallop Oval Punch and the Scallop Edge Punch. Some Old Olive ribbon to give it that finishing touch. Have a great day. Take Care TFL Toodles

Hello Everyone. Hope your Monday was a fine one. Today I have a simple and clean layout for you. I think it turned out great. This is a cut down version of one of the previous Mojo sketches. I just love the pinecones from the Autumn Days Set #115452 found on pg 92 of your catty. If you would like to earn some free stamps now is the time to host a workshop, Special hostess offer from now till Nov 30th. Host a $250 workshop and you can select any one item from the Holiday Mini for only $10. (MDS and Hostess Sets excluded) All other hostess benefits will apply as well. Gather up some friends and have a girls night out. Drop me an email and this stamp set could be on its way to your front door. I have used this stamp several times and it turns out different each time. This could be used as a x-mas card or just a hello in winter card. Card stock is one of my favs Mellow Moss teamed wth Choc Chip and Whisper White. I embossed the cones with craft choc chip and the leave is inked with mellow moss. The background was cuttlebugged with an embossing folder. Not sure of the correct name. Let’s just call it Leaves. Sentiment is from Hugs and Wishes (retired). I’m making this post short today because I’m in the middle of cutting cardstock for my Stamp A Stack this Friday. Hope you all had a great day. Send those cards and make someone smile today. Take care. TFL Toodles

Happy Monday To All. Hope your week-end was full of fun. Mine was jam packed. We had our b/d party and it went very well. Kourtney decided to have a bowling party for her 13th b/d. I think they all had fun bowling, dancing and eating pizza. My daughter had her hands full because nine of them spent the night and they were still up at 4:00am. We also had a new addition to the family on Saturday. My nephew and his wife had their second child a new baby boy weighing in at 8lbs. Now they have two boys. WOW! Today I am sharing the baby card that I made for our new little baby boy. I used the Level 1 Hostess Set Love Bug # 115233.
You can receive this stamp set for free when you host a $150. workshop. This month SU is offering a Fall Hostess Special. Host a $250 workshop and you can choose any one item from the Holiday Mini for only $10. (Hostess sets and My Digital Studio not included) Cardstock is Real Red, matted with Whisper White embossed with the Swiss Dots Folder. Sentiment is from Family Phrases #111016. The 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches. I used Copic markers to color but they are such small spaces that SU markers would be just fine. Real Red ribbon and a little bling for pizzazzzzzzz! Can’t forget the scallop nesties. I hope you have a good start to your new week. I will be cutting paper for my Fall Stamp A Stack this Firday. Take care. TFL Toodles
