Keeping Focused
Happy Saturday again. This is my second post this morning. I am new at this thing called blogging and I am still trying to keep everything straight. There are so many things to keep straight. but I will get the hang ot it. WOW I would like to offer you a stampin class project each month. I hope this peeks your interest. For the month of Sept. I have chosen the set Best Wishes and More #111602 on pg 64 of the current catty. Here is how I would like it to work. If you like this set and would like to receive these samples for free you will need to place a Stampin’ Up on-line order of $30 or more. When I get your order confirmation I will send you three card samples and instructions on how to make them. That’s all there is too it. If you already have this set please feel free to substitute but you must order $30 worth of merchandise. If you can’t order on line please feel free to email me, send me your check and I will place your order. If you have any questions please drop me a line and if your order should reach the $150 mark Hostess Benefits will apply. Come join the fun. I’ll post the samples on Sept 1st. Thanks for listening.
Sweet Centers – Holiday Mini
Are you ready for a little R&R this weekend. Well how about doing a little stamping. The Holiday Mini is just right around the corner and today I am showing you one of the my 3D projects. The stamp set is called Sweet Centers #116521. It will put a lot of smiles on your childrens faces. It not only covers Halloween but birthdays and valentines day. Here’s my project.
Do you own the big shot #113439? I used my big shot and one of the bigz xl dies called the Fancy Favor Box #115965. You can find them on pages194 and 200 in your catty. I use the big shot at least once a day. A very nice tool. If you like perfect and no fuss you will love working with the Big Shot and its accessories. Card stock is Crushed Curry. I stamped the EEK stamp on whisper white. Then I punched out the middle with our 1 3/4" circle punch #104401. I stamped again on a separte piece of WW the bat from Batty For You #116576 on page 23 in basic black, mounted him with demsionals on crushed curry and basic black with our 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches. Put some candy in a cello bag and tied it with Dusty Durango Ribbon. Oh so cute!!!!!!. TIP: You can make your own crinkle aper by cutting up small strips of paper 1/8" and then running them thru your crimper. If you’re not familar with a crimper check out page 188 (another tool). I know we can accumlate a lot of tools but I truly believe if you have the right tool for the job you will be so much happier with the end result and it will look professional. Have a great weekend and make some smile. TFL See you on Monday.
