Happy Together
Happy Monday Everyone. Hope your week-end was filled with fun like stamping. LOL! I got some important yard work done. I know, not everybody loves yard work, but I feel so good when things get done and your yard looks pretty. Don’t you. For todays card I used the cutest stamp set called Happy Together. What is it about little birds aren’t they just the cutest. My card layout is called a Pocket Card. You can use this for so many things (an invitation,, gift card holder, even a small candy bar would fit. Great for b/d party favors. Anywho I used Rich Razzleberry (115316) as my base (4 1/4 x 11) folded in half and then scored at one end at 1 1/2. I used the samll corner rounder (109047) for the bottom of my flap. DP is called Cottage Wall (115671) If you love purple you’re going love it. I matted the front with Orchid Opulence (100969) same combo for the Scallop in the corner. Scallop Punch (109043). Boy do I used that one a lot. The inside of the pocket is Orchid Opulence and Whisper White (100730) stamped with the flower from the set. Ribbon RR polka dot (115613), white gel pen, a build a brad and a little bling. Caution – be sure when adhereing your front part of the card that you use a narrow piece of sticky tape one each side. It’s the red two sided tape pg 192 (104294). It is very strong and will hold the weight of your card front but you must leave enough room for the inside piece to fit in your pocket. I hope I didn’t confuse you. If you have questions please drop me a line.
Don’t forget about the last deal of the week. I will post what it is Monday afternoon. I hope you were able to get in on the Vanilla Hodgepodge. It was a heck of a deal. On-line ordering 24/7 is available through my website at www.sandymurphy.stampinup.net When you order $50 I will give you a 10% discount before s/h. Everybody have a great Monday. TFL See Ya
